Oh I love this place! Every time I go, I'm very quite pleased. I get the simple generic ones (I'm currently not remember the names). For instance I get the strawberry, banana, with something else ones. I like the strawberries! I must have strawberries. But I've tried a lot of the ones on the menu, and I liked them all. I like to get mine extra crispy though. The owner is soooo kind! He's so nice, and you can tell he enjoys what he does. He gets super into it! The only negative is that the wait can be long. There were about 2 or 3 people in front of me and I think I had to wait about 10-15 minutes. I can't even begin to imagine how long the wait could be if the place was packed. The crepe was VERY good. The ingredients were fresh and the crepe was cooked really thin. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I went to Dallas for a weekend and what a surprise this place was. It had the most delicious crepes I have ever tasted. It was such a treat to watch the owner (who went to France to train to make these babies) create the crepes for us. You can tell he has so much passion and pride in product he makes for his customers. Just an absolute, all around delight to have eaten here. Soooo good. These are asian-style crepes that you hold in your hand and stuff with ice cream and all kinds of fruit & asian flavors! There's only one dude working behind the counter, and you can watch him make your order right before your eyes. He is actually the sweetest guy! If you come in enough he'll remember your face and ask you about school and stuff. When you order, he always asks for if you want your crepe crispy or soft, and I usually go for super crispy. Then you can see the magic happen. He meticulously draws out the circle of crepe out on his griddle and fries it to desired crispness level. He piles on the fillings then folds it into a neat triangle before handing it to you. He'll always advise you on the best way to eat the crepe--one hand holds the bottom, the other keeps the corners of the crepe together, then you bite. It's an art. The crepes are delicious, but the experience of watching your crepe come into form is what makes this place special. The only thing is that it IS kind of pricey, but it's worth it as an occasional treat. My favorite flavor combo is strawberries and bananas with Nutella and ice cream. I've tried to go back to this creperie on two other occasions since I live closer to it, and it's near my school...and not had any success with them being open. They do not have times posted on the door, and at first I thought the Asian shopping center did end up putting him out of business. The second time I wanted to stop by there since we were going shopping anyway, and it was around noon on a Saturday. CLOSED! Oh.my.goodness. Paul is an evil genius for making these crepes soo amazingly good. The crepes are made fresh right in front of you, and you can stuff them with anything from fruit to brownies to ice cream. He wraps them up in an ice cream cone type fashion, and they're perfectly easy to eat on the go. He really connects with his customers, he always remembers us and asks us about friends we have brought in the past. Excellent food and great customer service! read more

Visited crepes4u with the family today for the first time and it was DELICIOUS! Definitely lived up to the great reviews. Mr. Paul was very welcoming. Greeted every single guest. He has so many regulars he realized we were first timers lol. As far as the prices, they are well priced for as big as they are. I purchased 4 crepes each with ice cream and paid $24. Needless to say they were a hit with the children. Now, to avoid confusion the shop is inside the grocery store not in the food court. Also, be prepared for a slight wait. Okay, so once upon a time ago I tried Paul`s crepes at the Anime Convention in Dallas. This was like 2008 guys! It was so awesome I had wanted more since! I am so grateful he is still here in the area making his delicious crepes. So when I lived in dallas for 3 years I never got to go visit his crepe store. But when I went back on a trip just last weekend I knew I had to visit this place. I went twice during my visit and bought around 10 crepes. That`s a lot of crepes and a lot of amazing-ness. Paul was super nice and he is soooo fun to talk with. He is really honest about everything and in good humor. He said he will be traveling some time in november.. so after that I will come back to get more crepes from him! Choco rocco and Vanilla sky.. I cannot tell you how incredible these are you just have to try them for yourself. Vanilla sky is my ULTIMATE FAVORITE. The FRESHEST Blue berry compote is delicious and sweet and just enough sour, with incredible sauce. I got mine with Green Tea Ice cream instead of Vanilla, and Hazelnut chocolate and it was out of this World amazing. I definitely recommend it highly! I was so happy with it. I just wish I had, had room for more. The price is super amazing too.. only 5$. Can`t get something that incredible at a nice restrurant and definitely not for that price. ENJOY! When this place first opened I actually helped them figure out how to adjust their soda syrup. The owner is a very nice guy who is really enthusiastic about crepes. Part of the charm of this place is watching the Crepes being made. The owner does them with style! All the ingredients are fresh as can be (the place is located within an Asian Market!). The Crepes are light and fluffy with that awesome bit of crispness as you bite. Perhaps the owner was out and made a few ahead for an unskilled employee. The prices are not bad for a guilty snack, but I would never consider it a meal. Forgot to mention that Paul apparently doesn't use Nutella as a base, but chocolate syrup. I love Nutella, but I can guess a few good reasons why chocolate serves a broader range of customers instead of having to fear those who are allergic to nuts. Went here recently and everything about this business owner is 5 stars!! He is humble, passionate, wise, loves to tells stories and interact with customers, and loves being a local business owner! People, like Paul make you WANT to support local businesses. He was moved by my story of wanting to make my own way here in Dallas and he gave great advice on how to get my life on track. I stopped by after eating some noodles. I haven't had crepes before, or at least not like this. I had the ananas and my bro the cocoro. Due to some confusion on my part, I took a bite out of his first, so I got to try both. Yum! I am glad I stopped by. At first I was a little disoriented, as there were quite a few people in the shop and I had no idea what I was doing... The owner (I assume) or a least the guy in charge noticed this, and explained to me about ordering and that they would make anything you wanted... they just wouldn't guarantee you would like it haha. I got the MoMo (strawberries, bananas, and nutella drizzle) and my opinion? Mmmmmmmmm! He asks if you like your crepe soft, medium, or crispy. I LOVE the crispy type. It's frilly edges are crunchy and flakey and closer to the bottom it gets soft and spongey like cake. Mmmmmm. My fiance got the one (forgot it's name) with strawberries, kiwi, banana, pinapple, whipped cream, nutella drizzle, and a little-bity scoop of ice cream. The owner was so impressed that for "first timers" we were surprisingly clean and drip free (there IS a technique to eating these you know) There are a few negative reviews here so let me just add my two cents. First of all: 1) Anything worth it's weight in gold is worth it's weight in time. Stop complaining. If you're in a rush, don't go! Otherwise its WELL worth the wait (seriously, he cuts the fresh fruit, cooks the crepe to your liking, lovingly arranges the fruit slices and folds it tenderly before handing off each precious work of art. Now THATS love! And boy, does love taste goooooood) 2) Yes, you can get crepes at ihop too BUT the fruit is preserved, bland, textureless, and stored in LOTS of added sugar (Really? You're really bringing up the grease-bucket chain restaurant to compare with this? *sigh*). 3) No, this is not meant to be a meal replacement so of COURSE it wont fill you up! It's just a fun snack with wholesome fruit. It's great for a treat (I wouldn't recommend going 3 times a week and getting ice cream in one each time. Seriously... be sensible). 4) Yes, it ranges from $4-5 but then again, buying fruit in ANY form is more expensive than buying, say, a bag of cheetos or gummy bears (plus it's MUCH healthier than the last two mentioned) 5) And lastly: maybe the reason they get so many 5/5s is because the ENTIRE experience is fun and enjoyable for ALL ages to watch and to eat. (The owner is SO sweet and always has a grin from ear-to-ear, plus there is child seating and just watching him make these things is FASCINATING!! :D ) So there you have it: My two cents on the negative reviews. I have mixed feelings about this place now. :( Paul is definitely very sweet, and his crepes are delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness and you can ask for your crepe to be crispy or soft. I personally enjoy the Symphony and Islander because I love me my fruit! Why the 3 stars? They're not consistent with their hours of operation! I've come here around 2pm and 3pm on weekdays, and it was closed. One time the sign said it was open, but with the lights being out and the door locked, I'm pretty sure it was closed. Yelp claims they open at 2pm. Another reviewer left a tip to note that t it opens at 3pm. From my experience, it seems to me they open whenever they feel like it. There aren't even any hours of operation posted. Last time I had a crepe was last year. Might be my last if I can't catch them open. :\ read more

Paul!!! Oh how I love Paul!! I love how he just welcomes you when you enter I guess I go so much he remembered me by name!! Back in the days when I would get sad I would go to crepes 4 U to get a crepe specially made by him and just conversate. It was the best place to go to and afterwards I would feel so much better! He learned his crepe making techniques in Japan so it totally legit and I always order it crispy so it doesn't get soggy and you can hold it up and bite into it without using a spoon or fork. He takes his time on each crepes he makes serious! But it's so worth the wait!! You guys definitely need to try the Romeo and Juliet with a scoop of ice cream of your choice so delicious!! read more

This place is awesome and YUMMY! The owner, Paul, is very much a people person. The crepes are Japanese style. It reminds me of the Japanese crepe shop I had in San Francisco, and the ones I had on the streets in France (minus the ice cream). The crepes are so good!! Do be patient if there's multiple people ordering because he only has two griddles, and one person doing everything. I love watching the process. Pours the mix, thins it out (let him know how you like it: soft or crunchy), and then flips. He slices the fruit and places it nicely on the crepe. Then whipped cream, nutella sauce, and ice cream. Then he folds it and serves it to you. I ended up having 2 crepes. One there and one for the road. As far as Japanese style crepes go, you won't find a better place in the North Dallas area. The crepes are delicious, made to order and you have a multitude of different choices. You can also add a scoop of ice cream to your crepe for a different texture and flavor to the experience. So..... Why am I giving this place 1 star? It's the owner Paul. While he's quite nice, he talks wayyyyyyyyy too much and last time he overcooked my crepe cause he was in the middle of talking to someone about how he wants to have a food truck but it's not realistic for him right now. His priority should be in making orders and not idle chitchat with anyone and everyone. The very first time I went he wouldn't shut up and went on and on for 15min before making my order. We are visiting Dallas this week and based on Yelp's reviews we drove up North to Plano to check out this crepe shop today. When we first arrived, we were not quite sure about a crepe shop in an Asian mall. The shop itself is quite "simple" with only a couple of benches and the crepe station. It looked like they serve Japanse style crepe (crepe in a cone). Honestly, both me and my wife were very very skeptical. Nonetheless we did come back after dinner and we ordered three different crepes. I had the Vanilla Sky (blueberry compote, whipped cream and vanilla I cream) with soft crepe. It was delicious. The crepe was soft and a bit chewy and just the way I liked it. Wife ordered the Symphony with medium crispy crepe. She said the crepe itselfbwas awesome, but all the fruits mixed together and she couldn't tasted them quite well. Daughter ordered the Choco Rock with green tea ice cream and soft crepe. Being a protective dad, of course I had to taste the crepe for her to ensure it taste good. ladies and gentlemen, this probably one of the best taste crepe I had (even better than those I had in Japan). The hazelnut choco sauce mixed so well with the green tea ice cream. All in all, the family verdict is... it worthed the drive to Plano to have crepe. On the side note, the owner was very friendly and we did chatted up a bit. I only hope he can put a couple of small tables in his store. Happy crêping! read more

If you're having trouble finding the place, go inside the Asian World Market Grocery store. There's a little row of shops like a bank, bakery, etc. Crepe's for you is across from the bank but almost inside the Asian market. I don't know much about crepes, but I can tell you that these dessert things are super tasty. If you're not familiar with crepes, think of it as an ice cream sunday, rolled up with fruit in a soft waffle cone. I recommend the one with brownies in it. And the bonus is the owner Paul, who is normally behind the counter making the crepes by hand. A genuine, friendly guy. Every time I go there it reminds me of Cheers where you walk in and everyone goes "Norm!". Only Norm is Paul. He'll probably remember your name. Just don't order the anana crepe. It's the one with pineapple only. Unfortunately they use pineapple from a can so I ended up throwing away half my crepe. Everything else here is fresh though. I have come to the conclusion that I just don't like crepes in general, but if you want to indulge your salivating tendencies, then it will cost you about 7 bucks-ish (no add-ons included). Within an Asian shopping market, the store lacks the typical froo-froo decor and seating, which I think would really help attract more customers, even if they're teeny-boppers (nothing wrong with that!). I've been a regular here for a few months, though I've been coming here since I was 9. The owner Paul is an incredibly kind and gracious man, as well as an incredible crepe chef. As many of his regulars will tell you, Paul treats us like family and I consider him a good friend.
