Fair overall. Fun atmosphere, great service. Food is just ok which is why I knocked off a star. Lots of beer to choose from. Live entertainment is great. Food needed more flavor, price is a bit high for the quality.

Restaurant was empty except for a handful of people at the bar which should've been a sign. Ordered a beer (apparently just the one size and no prices on the menu, another red flag), fries came out within minutes and were ice cold so I sent them back and asked for fresh fries, came out 2 minutes later with the same fries lol. $30 is crazy for these two items, even for NOLA. Beer was good.

We came in with a big group last minute and they were very accommodating:)) Ribs are AMAZING- will have to give the Mac and cheese another go it was cold but I didn't want to bother them before closing:)) very lovely server! Pretty much everything we ate we all finished the plates! Definitely will come back to enjoy!!

Chose items based off of our server's recommendation. I forgot his name already. Perry? I came in on a Saturday night. He was great. Refilling our waters and checking in on us. Always keeping an eye on us to the point of bringing out wet towels to wipe our hands at the right moment. The brewhouse ribs - outside was perfectly crunchy and the meat falling off the bones. SO delicious. Best ribs I've ever had, I think. Especially with that sauce. The Mac and cheese pie was okay. I would have been fine with just one slice instead of two. The spicy Cole slaw was a nice touch. I've never had it spicy before. It's spicy enough that I needed the Mac and cheese to balance it out. The charbroiled oysters. Omg. WHAT an AMAZING dish!! I've never had anything like this! I would definitely come back for more of this!! You must try! Just a tad bit of crunch. The garlic butter so so good.

Dinner stop on the way back to our hotel

My wife and I were in town for 5 days to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We were nearing the last days of our visit and had been having an incredible time. We were in foodie heaven. We were walking up Decatur Street on our way to our hotel in the French Quarter. It had been a long day of sightseeing and a lot of walking. Our tummies were beginning to tell us it was near dinner time. We started looking for someplace to stop and eat before we arrived back to our hotel. It was hot and humid, so we wanted someplace nice and cool plus quiet or with smooth jazz playing in the background. We stopped at the front of Crescent City Brewhouse. A cool blast of air met us plus the sounds of smooth jazz wafting through the restaurant. The menu looked good, so it was a go to stop at the restaurant to relax, cool of and enjoy a leisurely meal. Tina, our server, was so cheerful when she greeted us at our table. We loved it that she brought glasses of cold water with her. She said the two of us looked like we needed to cool down and take a load off our feet. She said to take our time and look over the menu. We ordered a couple of iced teas from Tina. When Tina arrived, we had decided what we wanted for dinner. My wife ordered the Fried Spicy Chicken Sandwich with French fries, and I ordered the Wild Mushroom Pasta topped with grilled shrimp. As we waited on our entrees we sat back and relaxed listening to the incredible jazz from the trio playing at the brewhouse. One thing that was fascinating at the restaurant were the 4 jellyfish lights that were hanging in the bar area. They were stunning and so beautiful. I asked Tina about them. She told me they were crafted by a local glass artist in New Orleans. She said they were one-of-a-kind pieces. Shortly, Tina brought our entrees to our table. Both of our entrees were fabulous. My wife loved her fried chicken sandwich. She said it was one of the best she'd ever had. The spicy chicken breast was served on a pretzel bun. It had buffalo sauce, shredded lettuce, tomato and "house made" pickles. The sandwich was accompanied with perfectly prepared French fries. My wild mushroom pasta was comprised of tagliatelle pasta, truffle infused vegetable broth, wild mushrooms, and topped with parmesan cheese. The six grilled shrimp had the perfect "char" on them. The tagliatelle pasta had a great "chew" to it and wasn't overcooked. There were a variety of wild mushrooms in the broth. It's just what the doctor ordered. Thank you, Tina and the staff of Crescent City Brewhouse, for a wonderful visit, superior service and food. When we return to New Orleans, you'll definitely be on the list for a return visit.

Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and had a great experience. It wasn't too busy, the restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The Bang Bang shrimp were huge and absolutely amazing -- easily a standout. The garlic parm fries were very good, and the crab hush puppies were small and packed with flavor. I also had a flight of beer (full review posted on Untappd), and our server was awesome -- super informative and helpful with recommendations. Overall, a really solid lunch spot with great food, good beer, and excellent service. Would definitely come back!

Very large two-story bar restaurant. Stopped in here for some food and drink before our nearby steamboat tour. For my drinks, I started with the six-sample beer flight, then settled on the Black Forest beer for the remainder of our stay. For food, had some raw oysters (delicious), fried alligator (tastes like chicken), and the Jambalaya Orleans (Louisiana shrimp, chicken, andouille sausage, Louisiana rice, trinity with softshell crab). Good sized portion and quite tasty. No complaints.

Ribs, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad.
    Yolanda H.

The service was good. We sat down and our server was nice. I forgot his name. We ordered the crabmeat hush puppies and they came out burnt. Not sure why he served them to us. Notified him and ordered the bang shrimp. That was delicious. We both ordered the ribs and I added a side of potato salad. The ribs were flavored well but were cold. The macaroni and cheese was literally scooped out of the pan and placed on the plate. The macaroni had no flavor and was not warm either. I didn't even taste their coleslaw. The potato salad had more celery flavor than anything else. 1000% would not return. Horrible expensive food.

We enjoyed light bites and dessert, the cream brûlée was perfection, so good I went back a day later. The brownie dessert was also good, rich and creamy. Didn't have drinks, but the beer flights looked good..

Geoffrey was a very good server! Friendly, attentive, and informative: recommended Crystal hot sauce for ʻflavorʻ on our fresh oysters. Excellent choice! Nice music, air conditīoning, near the river. Only issue? Why is the label is still on my lemon? Makes me feel like they are unwashed.

    Bang Bang Shrimp!

We loved this place and it was perfect for our family! We have so many choices and they had a kid menu! We find it hard sometimes to find something everyone will eat but this place made it easy! Clean and wonderful kind staff!

I'm not sure about parking as I walked to the brewery on my recent visit. This brewery has a great feel that hearkens back to a cozy neighborhood pub - eclectic seating divided between a couple of rooms with a small bar and a simple setup including around 9-10 taps. I felt right at home. Flights included four 5 ounce pours for $19. Food is mostly supplied by Shift Kitchen but you're basically invited to bring in anything you want. I tried the following: * 90s Women's Power Ballads - IPA - New England / Hazy 6.6% ABV - Pretty decent hazy NEIPA, Guiyang body with notes of citrus, finishes hoppy and a touch floral. 4/5 * Tenant - Bitter/Best 4.1% ABV - Very nice sweet malty bitter, notes of toasted bread, slightly toasted peanut, finishes appropriately dry and somewhat mildly bitter. 4/5 * Mr. Words Is A Monster - Pilsner/Other 5.5% - Interesting XPA, crisp body, hint of orange peel finishing hoppy, hint of pine and black pepper. 4/5 * I Am A Donut - Sour - Berliner Weisse 4.2% - Light bodied sour, fruity body with notes of sweet mango. 4/5 * Notice Me Senpai - Porter - Imperial / Double 8.1% - Tasty porter with notes of dark chocolate, English toffee and roasty coffee, almost creamy body finishing dry. 4/5 In general all the beer I indulged in were good, I think this is probably the best brewery I tried in my recent trip to New Orleans. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions. I could tell this was a local spot - I engage in conversation with a few of the patrons and they mostly lived nearby. This is a top-notch hangout with a great local vibe.

Unlike most breweries, I don't think Courtyard has a signature beer, there are no standards Jucifer or Paradise Park. They just make new stuff all the time, then run out of it, and brew something else. I think I have seen Sonic Youth in 1983 there more than once so maybe that's the closest thing. Regardless I am saying this as a good thing because every time I go, there is something knew. Courtyard is like the ultimate dive bar of breweries. There is a pop-up style kitchen that has held a variety of eateries over the years that used to include Burger Nerds and now has a taco place. There is mismatch furniture throughout the indoors and front courtyard. Most of the seating looks like they robbed a daycare. This place is a weird, eclectic vibe. The furniture and overall vibe is pretty dumpy. The bar is even super wobbly. The beer list they have online indicating it is their current list was in no way related to the beer selection they actually had available. It was super limited with a lot of IPAs and sours.
