Decided to stop here while bar hopping. Great spot to watch the game. Decent size. Wasn't busy at the time but was told there was a big crowd earlier for the game. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. I had a lemon drop, hubby had a beer. Will be back !

Came here to watch football - arrived just before noon and the place was empty so we got to sit where we liked - bartender was nice and put all the TVs on our game. We wanted chicken wings but he said they wouldn't be ready for a few hours. I ordered the gumbo and it was pretty good - I'd definitely order again. My husband got onion rings and he really liked them - light and not too much breading. The place was very cold though - it was in the low 50s outside and felt warmer outdoors than inside the bar. A few other people came in and bellied up to the bar - everyone kept their coats and sweaters on. We left during half time to go somewhere else.

Tried this place while in town for work. It is good and interesting since it seems they run two restaurants out of the same kitchen so there are two different menus. Lots of food options but your typical bar food. Service was nice and quick and there were plenty of places to sit. It is your typical dive bar but good food.

NOLA Taphouse is one of those places with chairs, tables, and supplies stacked in the back of the place, that is a little devoid of personality and therefore looks like it's always under new management. It threw off a TGI Friday's vibe. We stopped in because it was nearby to Cachon and we were thirsty. The beer was cold.

Was in town for a conference and staying just down the road. My coworker and I decided to give this a shot since it had decent reviews and was close. Holy beef brisket nachos, it was delicious. We ended up going two more times during our stay, (don't judge it was raining) and the food was amazing each time. The brisket nachos are a delicious take on classic bar food. The crawfish pies were so good. Tasty and warm and the perfect ratio of filling to crust. The brisket quesadilla to also perfectly cheesy and brisket-y. But the highlight was absolutely the onion rings. They were the best gd onion rings I have had in my long and well travelled life. The PERFECT onion ring. Season and fried to perfection. Definitely get the onion rings. Actually get two. They're that delicious. All the food is amazing and I recommend this very HIGHLY. Just a perfect bar with great food. Go. No really go.

We stopped here since we got into town late and they were close and we were not disappointed. I got a rum punch that was delicious and my husband had a tequila and pineapple. The brisket nachos were delicious! Absolutely recommend. The onion rings weren't my favorite the breading was good but the onion was still a little crunchy. The catfish was delicious! If I went back that would be what I got. Our server was great. Very funny and personable.

I'm not sure about parking as I walked to the brewery on my recent visit. This brewery has a great feel that hearkens back to a cozy neighborhood pub - eclectic seating divided between a couple of rooms with a small bar and a simple setup including around 9-10 taps. I felt right at home. Flights included four 5 ounce pours for $19. Food is mostly supplied by Shift Kitchen but you're basically invited to bring in anything you want. I tried the following: * 90s Women's Power Ballads - IPA - New England / Hazy 6.6% ABV - Pretty decent hazy NEIPA, Guiyang body with notes of citrus, finishes hoppy and a touch floral. 4/5 * Tenant - Bitter/Best 4.1% ABV - Very nice sweet malty bitter, notes of toasted bread, slightly toasted peanut, finishes appropriately dry and somewhat mildly bitter. 4/5 * Mr. Words Is A Monster - Pilsner/Other 5.5% - Interesting XPA, crisp body, hint of orange peel finishing hoppy, hint of pine and black pepper. 4/5 * I Am A Donut - Sour - Berliner Weisse 4.2% - Light bodied sour, fruity body with notes of sweet mango. 4/5 * Notice Me Senpai - Porter - Imperial / Double 8.1% - Tasty porter with notes of dark chocolate, English toffee and roasty coffee, almost creamy body finishing dry. 4/5 In general all the beer I indulged in were good, I think this is probably the best brewery I tried in my recent trip to New Orleans. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions. I could tell this was a local spot - I engage in conversation with a few of the patrons and they mostly lived nearby. This is a top-notch hangout with a great local vibe.

This brewery is right on Decatur with a couple of tables in front good for watching the traffic coming through. There's also a patio in the back with plenty more seating options. I sat inside where there was plenty of space. There were a good selection of beers on the menu. And the options differed from other breweries with units of Liters. I, of course, had to have an IPA and I got in as a 0.5L (closest to a pint). The flavor was good with a good hoppy taste to it. This is a great place to chill with friends and enjoy some nice beers. There's also a menu but it's only available on certain days of the week. Unlike most breweries, I don't think Courtyard has a signature beer, there are no standards Jucifer or Paradise Park. They just make new stuff all the time, then run out of it, and brew something else. I think I have seen Sonic Youth in 1983 there more than once so maybe that's the closest thing. Regardless I am saying this as a good thing because every time I go, there is something knew. Courtyard is like the ultimate dive bar of breweries. There is a pop-up style kitchen that has held a variety of eateries over the years that used to include Burger Nerds and now has a taco place. There is mismatch furniture throughout the indoors and front courtyard. Most of the seating looks like they robbed a daycare. There is a couple of tv's, a piano, bullfighting art, an eclectic record collection and tons of plants outside. All of this gives Courtyard it's charm. The people are awesome, the place is comfortable and the beer is always great.

The walk there was pretty easy...I was concerned it might get a little dicey by the interstate underpass but it really didn't. My bar is usually pretty low for breweries because they are usually run on a shoestring by a group of guys that really love beer but don't always know how to run a business. This place is a weird, eclectic vibe. The furniture and overall vibe is pretty dumpy. The bar is even super wobbly. The beer list they have online indicating it is their current list was in no way related to the beer selection they actually had available. It was super limited with a lot of IPAs and sours. Not my jam. The is a food vendor on site as well; they have burritos, quesadillas, etc. it looked okay, but i wasn't in the mood for Mexican style food. Overall, it's fine. I like to try new places. I'm glad I stopped in but i wouldn't go back.
