I give this location 2 stars simply because I now dread grocery shopping. This is the best choice I have in this area for grocery shopping, but I really wish they would make a couple changes. 1. PLEASE ASK me if I want paper or plastic! More often than not, I am still unloading onto the belt when they start bagging and I have to stop them and ask for plastic. One of the cashiers told me that they were told not to ask that question anymore - but I HATE paper bags! And when they have to re-bag everything they are upset with me so I end up with a bad bagging job and things get broken, etc. Just freaking ask! What is the problem with simply asking me? 2. The product location is ridiculous. It would be seriously nice if all the stores had the same layout so you could 'feel like home' when you move from one to the other. I have lived here 7 months and been shopping for 26 years and I STILL don't know where anything is at in this location. None of it makes any sense - it takes me twice as long to get my shopping done than it did at the 104th/May location. I understand that the actual sections are placed differently between the two, but how hard is it to keep the products in the same locations as your other stores? 3. Please do whatever you need to do to make your cashiers and baggers happy - because that is one thing that does span across locations - I leave depressed after spending 2 minutes with your cashiers and baggers. They are the saddest looking people ever. The rarely ask "how I am today" or "did you find everything you were looking for", etc. They are usually too occupied talking to each other to pay the customer any mind and when they do they act like their dog died. Last. This is just a suggestion. I have lived all over the United States and have seen something that seriously boosts sales for a store. Get rid of that god awful belt and widen your checkout aisles. Have the customer bring the cart up where it runs behind the cashier, and the customer just goes up to the check out - where we can then get coupons ready, get our card ready, catch the bagger before they put everything in paper bags, etc. I wouldn't care about any of the above if you did this! I would go out of my way to shop at your store. This is THE first state I have ever lived in where there is a belt that the customer has to unload everything onto it just so the checker can scan it and put it all back in. Here I have to shop, then unload everything, then half the time help reload the bags to help speed the process up, then unload it into my car, unload it into my house and cabinets. Everywhere else I just shop, pull up to the checkout, then load it into my car and house. Not having that belt speeds the process up all the way around. That way, too, your checker has the cart and nothing is 'accidentally' left behind unchecked. There isn't any wasted time handing the bagger the 'gun' to scan larger items, etc. It seriously cuts the process down by half. I hope that the powers-that-be at this location listen to their customers. This really has the potential to be a great store - but at this stage it is really just a hassle to go here. read more

This conversation really happened at this particular Crest grocery store in Edmond yesterday. Me: Excuse me, could you please tell me where I can find the tofu? Grocery store guy: What's a tofu? I've never heard of it before. Me: Um, it comes in blocks and you can cut it up into cubes and eat it. Grocery store guy: Gross. Is it a vegetable? Hey Danny, do you know what a tofu is? Danny: What the heck is a tofu? Me: Never mind. Oklahoma Discoveries: 1. Grocery stores don't carry wine, not even for cooking. 2. Nobody knows what "a tofu" is. :( Tofu snag aside, Crest is big store with a decent selection of organic produce and grocery items at a very reasonable price. No wait in the check out line, tons of parking, open 24/7. Whole Foods is a little far away and it looks like Crest will definitely do for all the basics. read more

For years I've gone to Crest and bought their delightful, 12 flavored gummy bears. These weren't just any gummy bears; they were the gummy bears of the gods. I've bought pounds of them and devoured them without a care. Life was simple. Life was good. All until just recently, I came up to the candy isle, just to notice they replaced their godly gummy bears with these garbage tasting, disgusting textured, stomach bile reminiscent filth that only Crest could pass off as gummy bears. I'm extremely disappointed in the department that passed this insidious decision and would like them to know that you may be saving money by selling garbage, but it does not go unnoticed. I will NEVER shop here again until I see the Albanese 12 Flavored Gummy Bears in stock once again. From now on; I will take all of my business to Walmart. Store is usually clean, with wide aisles and numerous checkouts, both regular and self serve. Self serves are only open during certain hours, regular checkouts are often lightly staffed. Store is open 24/7 so be prepared for clogged aisles and boxes blocking shelves and frozen food cases before 8:00 a.m. Really poor gluten free selection. They need to rake lessons from Up Town Grocery, Wholefoods and well... Everyone else. read more

I seriously love Crest! It's for the most part cheaper than other grocery stores. That is the main reason why I shop at Crest. The selection is great. The lines go fast and they have tons of registers open. Obviously you should shop deals, but if you don't have time, Crest is always there as a cheaper alternative. It might not be the cheapest for everything, but if you average all of your savings on all of your purchases it almost always cheaper overall than other stores. They have even added a "bulk food" section similar to that of Sprouts. Highly Recommended read more

OKC's finest family supermarket. It's not as posh as Whole Foods or Uptown Market, and not as fun and quirky as Trader Joe's. It's simply the best place to find anything you could need or want to feed your family for the week. The have the best prices, the largest selection, the best trained staff... and they never close. By far the best in Edmond. Prices as good or better than Walmart with excellent produce and meats. They carry Keurig, Eight O'Clock Coffee that Walmart quit carrying. Produce is fresher than Walmart and locally grown stuff is better (on par or better than Homeland at 9225 N May Ave). Watermelons are weak, like all grocery stores that now stock the strains that are redder that pretend to be ripe but like eating the rind. Much bigger selection of frozen foods than most places. Milk has the best dates of anywhere. They consistently have lower soft drink prices than Walmart. I'm sure it sounds like I'm picking on Walmart, but one thing that stands out, they ALWAYS have their prices marked. A few things that come to mind, that you usually can't get at most places in town are, dry ice, Smucker's "Cherry" Preserves, shoestring potatoes (the brand I like), lump charcoal (at very good prices), many types of smoker hardwoods, and a good selection of brisket. They have some of the best filet mignons (not talking about the vacuum packed pretend meat) in town. And the carts. Can you believe they actually fix the carts that want to pull to the left or right or squeak? Also, when I had knee surgery, I found their motorized shopping cart some of the best. They had plenty, and the ones I used didn't have any surprises that I found at other placed. Super fast checkout with good plastic bags (without the Walmart holes in the bottom) and even paper bags if you ask. Never much of a wait at checking out. I would say the fastest grocery store checkout in town. Cons: They don't carry 1/2 & 1/2 milk at a good price, which causes me to stop by Walmart. Also, a Walmart distraction is their off-brand Splenda is priced more than Walmart. They don't have Sunbeam bread that I tend to like. read more

After moving to the Quail Springs area a few weeks ago from Florida, I was shocked at the lack of grocery stores in the area given all the shopping and dining options here in N. OKC...until I found Crest! Very clean store with roomy isles, crazy variety, amazing deli and produce, lots of cashiers with a bagger at every isle, and the biggest shopping carts I've ever seen! They're almost comical. And they're open 24/7/365. Good pricing with lots of daily specials throughout the store. Relieved to not have to do the Target-Walmart circus anymore, and to keep my money in the local economy. read more

My wife and I regularly visit this location for our household groceries. We love the prices and we doubtlessly love the fresh fruit selection. The fresh fish and fresh cuts of meat is also a positive too at this location. The customer service at this location is good but could be better. The only gripe I have is the long lines you sometimes encounter on the FIRST of the month but ths is not a CREST problem IMO its social problem. read more

I shop every week at Crest. Great prices, choices, and the store is always so clean. Crest is my favorite place to grocery shop in Edmond. The only problem I have is that I take recycle bags with me and someone is always trying to put part groceries of my groceries in paper or plastic bags. Usually it's eggs or health and beauty aids. It's a little frustrating that I am always reminding cashiers and baggers that I have recycle bags with me for a reason. read more

Best grocery in Edmond. Honestly probably the best grocery in OKC area. They have amazing prices and in addition to cheap everyday prices they run great sales. I love the selection at the deli and cheese bar. They have a huge selection of fruits and veggies with lots of organic options at the best prices in town. The meat counter is great and I'm that annoying customer that orders odd numbers of steaks and chicken breasts so I like you can choose what ones and how many you get because the pre packed ones are never the right amount. This place is huge and has everything you will need to feed the fam so you don't need to hit up 3 stores. read more

This is really one of the last true grocery stores who haven't sold out to the big box store model. They have the best produce I have seen and have regular sales. Their prices are usually pretty cheap and you don't have to deal with Wal-Mart. read more

I had a bad run in at the deli with this place. My husband and I had just moved from Dallas for Edmond and I was excited to see such a big grocery store that was not a walmart! I went in and my first stop was the deli. I asked for the smoked turkey and pointed to the specific one that I wanted. A girl was helping me, maybe about 18. She looked at me and rudely asked "which turkey we have a million!" I said well this one here in your window that I am pointing at. Again with a rude tone she said " I cant see what you are pointing at" so I told her the name. She sliced the turkey and didn't even ask what thickness I wanted. After throwing it in the bag, she was handing it to me, while asking me if that is all I wanted at this point I just wanted my turkey and to get the hell out of there, well when I went to take it from her she snatched it back out of my hand and said "answer my question!" at that point I looked at her and told her to keep her turkey. They have a great produce selection and their prices are better than just about anywhere, except Aldi on occasion.
