I had connectivity issues with my Apple account, such as iMessage disconnecting, and not receiving calls on all devices. So, I would suggest not porting the same number across providers.

Unfortunately I am stuck paying for the plan because I got a new a brand new iPhone with them before trying out the service with them but I can't stand the reception, you're constantly at two bars unless you're on someone's WiFi, a page takes almost 3 minutes to load and when I try to call them and tell them how unsatisfied I was with the service the only solution was to buy more coverage and WiFi routers. Basically a "pay to play" service. I really regret changing to Verizon.
