I paid them to replace the degraded battery on my iPhone and they either didn't do it, or they replaced it with a very low capacity one. They "repaired" my phone with the WRONG screen (cheap LCD).... mine uses a OLED for my Samsung Galaxy; which when they used an LCD it disabled the fingerprint, poor phone lighting and the entire phone capabilities were slow and hard to use! A very friendly and helpful salesperson another store in the Brea Mall recommended this Kiosk/shop for a band for a gift for our daughter. We approached and were greeted by a very friendly salesman, he was helpful and we purchased two different bands. He let us know that they could be exchanged or returned if our daughter didn't like them. Fast forward to Christmas day, when my daughter opened her gifts, and one of the bands was already falling apart. I realize for the price, $25 each, they aren't going to last years, but I certainly didn't expect this. So on 12/31 we went to the establishment to speak to them. They were nice enough, but hesitant to give us a return, noting the item is damaged. Once we agreed that the item was unopened, he stated that he "didn't know how to do a return on the machine" and we would have to come back another day. This seemed a bit strange, but we tried to be understanding and so I can back a second time. This time he and another employee tried to get me to exchange them, and when I refused, they stated only a manager could do a return as he had to put a special code into the system. I called them on it, saying I'm familiar with "Square Software.' They stated theirs must be different. I asked if I needed to dispute the sale on my credit card, to which one of them replied, "That would be the best way for us to handle your refund!' This makes zero sense to me, I picked up the product, and walked away shaking my head. Do Not Buy Anything Here! When I picked the phone up it was working and they put on a tempered glass on it too. Once Christmas came, the phone didn't work. I went today and he tried to blame me and say that I dropped it. Like wtf!? What kind of customer service is that? I literally told him that no one touched the phone because it was a gift. He continued to blame me saying that I dropped it and tried to give me "examples" I kept telling him that no one touched the phone until Christmas. There is a 6 month warranty, as it states on the warranty and he did not want to honor it. Somehow I smashed a big hole in my iPhone camaraderie lens. I brought it to the Apples Store and they wanted 400 to replace it. While walking around the mall I stumbled on to this booth that said iPhone repair. The guy was soooooo nice. He repaired my phone in about a half an hour for 40 bucks! I'd never consider writing a negative review for anyone but considering I was directed to speak to a manger and that the gentleman (Andy) I speak with ends up telling me he's not manager but the friend/cousin of the other business is shocking! Who does that?! First experience on 2.2.19 - Super quick service! Jubra was very polite and worked diligently to help us! 3.23.19 Update - Girlfriend's phone started acting a bit strange about 2 weeks from when we got the phone screen repaired at this location. After a total of 4 weeks we finally made the time to go to Brea and ask about what looked like dust or "chipping" underneath the top of the new screen that was just replaced on her iPhone. Keep in mind that since the repair, she has handled the phone very delicately with no drops or sitting on phone or any other strenuous activity that would even slightly promote damage. The minute Jubra started hearing us out and reviewed the phone, she immediately rejected it had anything to do with her instalation or the the quality of the new screen. She said that "the warranty doesn't cover damage, which is what happened to the phone." Appalled, we asked if we could speak to a manager after she recommended that we do so to see if there was anything he would allow. We were directed to the second floor of the mall to speak to said manager, who not only also refused to hear us out, said that our phone was bent which caused the problem, and that he wasn't even the manager! He said he was the cousin/friend of the employee we just spoke to and that he was just "helping her out"! All this while mentioning that he wasn't trying to be rude or hurt our feelings, which is strange because he called me "bro" at least five times and kept walking away every time myself or my girlfriend tried to say anything. Disappointed with the the demeanor and service is both repair locations and would strongly caution anyone who considers getting service done here without asking lots of questions about what is and is not covered from the labor perspective. read more

Meet up with my wife after they fixed it and she noticed her Touch ID wasn't working. Take it back to them and explain it was working before they fixed it. Went here over a year ago to replace a cracked screen. I was quoted $200 to replace the screen. No harm, needed my phone. Shortly after leaving the kiosk I noticed the 3D Touch on my iPhone wasn't working properly. I'd scroll and my finger would highlight text on web pages. Later that day when typing the lower left handsome of the keyboard would stop working periodically. At that point I knew I had been ripped off. I decided to live with it until i was ready for an upgrade. A couple months passed before my screen became blotchy with white spots. Started in a small group and grew over time. I began to question the authenticity of the Apple screen they replaced mine with. Low and behold my screen goes out last week. I take it to a mom and pop repair shop where they fixed it. They repaired my screen for half the price and replaced it with an OEM screen. I asked the man if i could see the broken screen. Wouldn't you know it? It was a 3rd party screen, not what I paid for. This dude is so wack. I came in here two weeks ago to replace my broken screen. Everything was good until Tuesday night, it blacked out on its own. I thought it may have been low batt but turns out it wasn't. When I replaced the screen I got the "OEM" screen. Which was BS cuz apple confirmed it wasn't one of theirs. Anyways he accused me of dropping my phone and breaking the LCD. I repeatedly told him it went blank on it's own while I was eating dinner. I saw it just go black. The original person who assisted me offered two options for the screen replacement. A generic screen for 39.99 (7 day warranty) and the "original" screen for 79.99 (6 month warranty.) The salesman of course recommended the screen that was $40 more because of the warranty, stating that Smartfix would cover any damages all I had to do was keep the original receipt. 30 mins later and $80 later, I was a happy camper since my phone looked like new. 2 months later, my phone fell and guess what happened? The screen cracked again. Of course, I wasn't too upset, I had the original receipt and I have 6 month warranty. Took it back to the exact same location, and of course they take a glance at my phone and said that the warranty doesn't cover any water or physical damage. Uhm... you sell and repair cracked screens.... don't sell a service and give out warranty that has absolutely nothing to do with the service. It's a way to for customers to pay more for a warranty that has nothing to do with what they are selling. I made a mistaking of taking my iphone to get my screen repaired at this store. I should've checked the reviews first. They don't know what they're doing. After replacing my cracked screen, it didn't function properly. Whenever I'm on a call, the call buttons keep activating. He said that the sensor is not installed and will charge me $25 to have it installed. He ended up replacing my screen to fix the problem. After a couple of hours, the screen malfunctioned and keeps flasing and opening different apps without even touching. He sad to come back the next day and he will order parts.
