Very disappointing experience -- check your Verizon bill carefully! I recently read a review alleging that this store was adding unnecessary lines to customers' accounts, and unfortunately, my experience raised the exact same concerns. I spent over an hour today with a Verizon representative going through my bill because the charges were unusually high. We discovered that an additional line had been added to a 14 Pro Max that my daughter no longer even had. My daughter had already paid off that phone, returned it, purchased a new phone, and transferred her line to her own account. Despite all of that, an additional line was still showing on the account connected to that old phone. What makes this even more concerning is that we started questioning the bill after it became ridiculously high just a couple of months after she upgraded. I am currently reviewing the paperwork to identify the representative who originally handled the transaction. Once I have all the documentation, I will be providing the representative's name to Verizon and including the details in my complaint. Customers should not have to spend over an hour auditing their bills to discover charges and lines they never authorized. Check your Verizon account carefully, especially after upgrading or transferring a line, and make sure you are only paying for services and devices you actually have. I am extremely disappointed and expect Verizon to investigate how this happened and why! read more

ZERO STARS for Frontier, which is a Verizon company!!! Do not do business with this company. I tried for days to get assistance with my 85 yr old mom's internet service. Every customer service number does not work unless you say you want to buy something, otherwise the voice-bot refers you to their website. When you get to their website, you can open a chat with another voice -bot! I was finally able to get through to a live agent because I said I wanted new service. I only needed a packing label to return equipment. I'm hoping I'll receive the return box as promised. My fear is they'll charge my mom for not returning it timely. Horrible horrible company... do better Verizon!! read more

If you're a Verizon customer or looking to be a Verizon customer, stay away from this store and go to another one. First, they are not a true Verizon store but a 3rdparty retailer claiming they have all the same capabilities as a corporate store, but that is just not true. They are soley focused on sales and the employees there will do whatever they can to hustle you into a different plan or phone. If it's anything else you need assistance with, they brush it off not willing to really resolve your problem. I've tried to ask for help with issues with my sim card, but keep getting a runaround or bs excuse redirecting me to reach out to the actual corporate store. There's a reason why this location has changed ownerships throughout the years, it's just better to go to the actual Verizon corporate store off on Tustin Street in Orange. read more

The Sales "manager" was pushy when I bought a phone. I made it clear several times that I just wanted to buy the phone. I did however buy a cell phone charger but when he rang me up, he put the item back on the wall and replaced it with an open return when I was distracted. When I returned home I noticed that the item had already been opened. It was also for an Android device and he knew I had Apple products. When I returned the item later, I asked him why he sold me an open return that did not include the power cord. At first he said the package wasn't a return then saw that the package had been taped and stapled close. Then he said that the battery didn't come with a power cord until I showed him the empty compartment that the power cord was supposed to be in. I asked him again why did he switch out the product off the wall for the return item. He kept denying it. He refused my return advising that I would not get my money back. Then he refused to exchange the device for an unopened box saying that he needed it for display. I continued to request the exchange until he finally agreed to replace the open box for an unopened box. Then he became angry and told me to "get the hell" out of the store. I told him I didn't trust him and that I would not be buying anything from him or Version ever again because he had lost my trust. He said it he didn't care because he had already made commission off the battery. Then he threatened to call the police if I didn't leave which wasn't necessary because I was already walking out the door. I am now canceling my relationship with Version after 20 years (started when they were Sprint). I know canceling my account won't affect the bottom line for Verizon but hopefully someone from Verizon will see this and retrain that manager about what effective costumer service is. read more

I ordered a new phone for pickup from this location, and was told my phone was "allotted to someone else" and that this location isn't a Corporate Location so they don't update their inventory to match Verizon online orders. I learned a valuable lesson today to be sure you aren't dealing with an independent store. read more

I would never wish Verizon upon anyone in the world. This complaint is not about this store but about Verizon's horrible, horrible customer service on the phone. If you ever want to talk to a live agent, get ready to be hung up on by their phone system at least five times just to get a live agent who leaves you on hold for 20 minutes to never come back just to then call back into the system and guess what, be hung up on again for the 6th time. You basically have to call in crying and begging their support team to take down your number and make sure they are still there on the line every 30 seconds because you are so traumatized about your experience. This has been my ongoing experience for 2 months, and has happened to me every single time. I would say anywhere from 5-6 times I have experienced this issue. It takes about an hour just to finally get help. Just love Verizon so, so very much. NOT! Side note, I spent two hours on the phone with a customer support specialist who promised me a 40% discount on multiple lines across my 3 accounts which I have never received yet to date. It has been since August. All this just to my discount for my overpriced lines with fees and taxes that no other carrier charges. Beware of all the hidden fees, but rest assured they can give you a free phone that locks you into a contract when you already have 65 lines active. Such a joy! read more

Regarding Ca Anaheim Hills store. I had a horrible store experience today. I came to the store at about 5:30 pm and the store was all locked up. I sat in my car for a few moments because the office door was open. So I thought maybe they were in the restroom. Well I see this young man walk up past my car with food in his hand from Chipotle across the way. He enters the store and goes in to the office. I got out to go check the doors and they are still locked and this guy is standing there eating and FaceTiming on his phone in the office with the door open. When he finally looks up and sees me standing there for a while he comes out of the office and asks me through the window if I had a question or is there something that I need!!! So I ask him is the store closed for the day or something. He then tells me that he's on break and that I would have to wait. He turns away from me and returns to where he was in the office but he sits this time and resumes eating and laughing on his phone. After continually waiting on him he finally comes out and walks past the door where I was standing near the office and opens the door on the other side. He looks at me and tells me to come around!!!! I'm fuming at this point because I have never been treated this rudely at any Verizon store. EVER!!!!!! I really think someone needs to check the cameras to see how this very silly person treats customers. I have been a customer since 2016 and after this treatment I really don't think I want to continue. I ordered an iPhone order for store pickup from this particular location. My order, the day after I placed the order was not "ready for pickup." I called the store today and the rep said "We only prioritize in store customers. If the iPhone becomes available, we'll let you know." Really??? Horrible! Their mistake to not properly create the PCA to credit me for turning in my phone is now costing me $1200 and 2 months of late fees because although the phone has been turned in, their lack of due diligence means that my credit is floating in limbo and not applied to my account! As soon as this is done all 7 of my lines and internet service will be transferred to Spectrum wireless!! You would think after 19 years they would at least take care of my account within 8 weeks. Ive been back and forth to the store and on the phone with Verizon. SO not worth the "free upgrade " which by the way, isnt even free! This store is a joke and it always smells like weed!! Both Alex and the store manager zena helped me through multiple problems and switching carriers! i came back the next day and they both helped me with getting cell back online as well as my iPhone 6 which was a hassle! zena also gave me her number to help with anything and offered to help us at our home! she went above and beyond and gave amazing service! When you buy something here like a charger...employees, especially managers should not sell you on the "lifetime" warranty without telling you that you need to bring the box back. Beware of this location. I went into this store hoping to obtain a good deal and was suggested to set up my bill in a certain fashion to lower my bill. Suddenly, I see unauthorized cell phones and random international calling plans added to my account later. In addition, I was charged all sorts of "one-time fees" and unnecessary insurance charges for phones I did not own. After spending hours with Verizon customer service and Verizon fraud detection, I resolved it, but without having to pay some sort of damage for the mess in the hundreds of dollars (could have been worse if I did not stop it in time). read more

Tried the Verizon Internet because it was cheaper but the speed doesn't even come close to Spectrum's. I work from home so need reliable and fast internet, therefore had to go back to Spectrum. I cancelled Verizon's Internet within 30 days, the store rep told me they cannot take back the modem they provided to me at the store but that I will receive a shipping box and a label from Verizon in the mail. 4 calls to the customer service later, I still don't have the box or the label, and Verizon has now charged me $200 for the modem. I called customer service again, they advised me to go back to the local store and get a shipping label printed there. Came to this Verizon store in Anaheim Hills, was told they are unable to print the label but one of their corporate stores can take the modem back. Interestingly there was another customer who had the same issue, she called customer service twice, still no shipping box received. She was told to take it to UPS and they can print the label (but bring your own box). Talk about a run around. My advice is, don't even bother with their internet. It's not worth the hassle. Update 8/23/24: Went to the UPS store in hopes they can scan the modem and print the label, as Verizon's customer service instructed, and guess what, they can't. They still need the label or a return code from Verizon. The UPS guy tried his best to help, we both read Verizon's return instructions and could not locate the return code. So I called Verizon's customer service yet again asking them to just email me the return label. They emailed instructions on how to print it but the instructions lead to nowhere. I kept the Verizon agent on the line until I could see and print the return label, and I wasn't able to. The agent also could not locate it so he promised to call me back after discussing with his team. I am still waiting for the call back. I also emailed Victra, per their generous offer to help. read more

Made a large purchase of two new iPhone 14's, iPad and Iwatch . I was quoted a price for my trade in and after everything was transferred and changed, there was a price difference on the trade in. Purchased a lifetime screen protector replacement package from them in November 2018. Went to use it for the first time only to find out they canceled the program in November 2020. So I guess "lifetime" is 2 years and I got ripped off the $50 I paid for each of the family phones. Next time, which will be soon, I'll go to a Verizon corporate store. read more

I stopped by for help with my phone and bill and Sam was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to actually break down everything for me and saved me a considerable amount on my bill. I tell you, this guy has the patience of a Saint. The store was busy and short staffed so I had to wait to be helped, but after the service Sam had provided it was worth every minute spent in his store! It's people like Sam who have me convinced there are still people in retail who care about the customer. Im giving this store ALL of my future business AND referring everyone I know because of the fact that Sam works here. Added a new line and I've had several billing issues, including this store fraudulently adding Verizon cloud without my consent. I was told to come in any time to trade in my old device. I tried to go on Wednesday and Roberto saw me standing in line for 15 minutes and didn't even acknowledge me. I asked how long it would be and he said an hour and a half wait. I asked why he didn't tell me about the long wait and he blamed me for not asking. I scheduled an appointment online and it only took him 5 minutes to complete the trade in. However, I'm still not getting credit for my trade in and no confirmation it's been completed. This location has wasted several hours of my time due to how much I've had to call customer service and I had issues with activating the phone, the sim card on a new phone didn't work. Don't waste your time, visit a corporate store instead. read more

Sam was very helpful. I went to the Verizon in eastlake village yorba linda and the guy there was rude, i will not go back to that one. So drove up to this location and Sam was very helpful and willing to solve my issue. I thankful i went to that location because after 4 days of not having a phone he was willing to help me get one. The other location wasnt going to help me do anything and basically told me I was screwed, and that i would have to pay off my phone plus buy a new one and pay taxes and fees, he was willing to help me in any other way. Told me they didn't have the charger or screen protector and it would probably be shipped. Well, it's been almost a week and nothing. Do not trust this store this is all I can say to you. If you do go only deal with Sam not Joseph he will take advantage of if you don't watch him closely and ask questions and make sure you get clear answers. Don't trust them them.... This is what happened to me when I went to this place a couple of weeks ago because of the pandemic Best Buy changed up how they were going to do business with everything and one the things were selling phones. So I tried this store and I met Sam who was very helpful and seemed to be very honest so my wife and I started doing business with him. Well I needed a new phone because I was getting a new job and I didn't want to have problems with the one I had. Well I went in to talk to Sam one Sunday but they were super busy. I didn't want to deal with anyone else but Sam so after 2 plus hours waiting for help I decided to let Joseph help me and boy what a mistake that was. First off I did get my new phone but what I didn't know and I'm sure he did it for a bigger commission is without my permission he took me off the awesome plan I was on of $65.00 a month to a plan that now I was paying around $250.00 a month. Now since I didn't know he did that until my next billing statement which was after 30 days of him changing it I couldn't get my plan back. So now I'm stuck with a higher plan not the loyal customer plan that I was on. So now I'm stuck with a higher costing plan with the same service I had at a lesser cost and stuck with the 5G home internet service that was supposed to be free for a 30 day trial. I'm handcuffed now to Verizon. They say they don't have a contract to put you in but when they pull the wool over your eyes and after 30 days and you don't catch it you are stuck with the higher prices. read more

I walked into the store at 11 AM on a Friday and there were two customers at the counter and me. The Verizon worker, Jessie, emerges from the back a couple of minutes later and proceeds to start "helping" these two customers. It's after a couple of minutes I realize that they are actually chitchatting more than working, talking about real estate and deceased parents. One lady comes in behind me and notices, ask Jessie if there's anyone else in the store to help, he says no. Then she walks out. Jessie and the two customers continue talking about anything other than phones for 10 or 15 more minutes until I finally realize that my fidgety body language isn't getting across to Jessie so I walk right up to the counter beside everyone and just stare at him. He then tells me standing there won't help and he's going to take his time, I say "clearly" He says "if you don't like it you can get the fuck out of my store." It was at that point I kind of lost my shit and proceeded to walk out. Let this be a lesson to everyone out there about the new generation of "workers" coming into the marketplace. They are young and millennial and they are entitled and they don't give a shit about work. And why should they? I'm just a slightly wealthy guy driving up in my Tesla trying to get my wife's $1500 phone fixed. So he probably already hates me and that's OK. I never want to act like a Karen or be entitled but I do value my time and the effort that the workers will put in to their own jobs. It just baffles me how people aren't scared about losing their jobs anymore. I honestly don't hold any ill will towards Jessie, he was probably having a horrible day and took it out on me. I'm guilty of the same thing often times. What did take me by surprise was the subtle hint of discrimination about the whole situation because he was very polite and nice to the other Latino people he was helping but extremely rude to me and the white lady that walked in and left. Our problems with America really have way less to do with race and a whole lot more to do with class. I hope we can repair ourselves before it gets worse than this. read more

Wallet is too full? You're tired of counting how many numbers make up your balance account? And you have time to waste too? This is your place! Sales persons don't take time to help you out. They don't assist you in any way if you're looking for more informations about any plans. Keep in mind that I am not an "online person" and rather prefer my services in store, in person. If you are more of such a person, go for it. This store needs to learn customer service. A few months back, that lazy, "well fed" guy helped me getting a new plan. I was getting rid of T-Mobile. He wasn't very helpful but still did his job, although it seems to annoy him to have to help someone. Allow me to explain; I usually went to this store past 7pm, as they claim to close at 8. Well, if it is 7:20pm I do expect someone to assist me, especially if there is absolutely no other customer in store. Moreover, that same guy was happy to announce me he signed for me their special at the moment, which was a $150 gift card I shall receive if I kept Verizon for over 90 days. I did, and one year later, I still haven't received anything. Very nice. A couple weeks back, I went in to check out their prepaid services. It was 7:20 pm. 1. We roamed in the store for 10 min, no one greeted nor helped us. 2. When asked if we needed help, we stated what we were here for. The same, chubby (Mercedes driver, if this helps identifying) employee told us that "he was helping those people, and then they'll close." ha.. there was 40 more min? 3. We stayed in my car for the remaining time; the couple he helped left by 7:40 and he proceeded to close the doors around 7:45. A couple minutes later, he left with his black 2007-2014 Mercedes C250 or C300. Another trivia for you; on Halloween day (October 31th 2018), we came in around 7:30 pm (they close at 8pm). The same chubby lazy guy closed the door as we parked our car. He loaded a few beers pack in his 2007-2014 Black Mercedes parked right in front of the doors (like at usual. Customers, feel free to park further ;)) and left. It wasn't even close to be 8pm. Lastly today I went in to check if I had anything to pay, as I finally changed my carrier for someone cheaper (and nicer...) and the african-american employee told me he couldn't help me. Wondering why the website states they can help of EITHER over the phone or "IN STORE." Although there are many things to consider, Target across the parking lot and BestBuy down the street are much nicer resellers for electronic devices and carriers. Thieves, I am still waiting for my $150 credit gift card too. read more
