Worst T-Mobile Experience Ever…read more Promised "$500 off" deal turned to nothing I walked into the store specifically to add a line. * Sales rep enthusiastically told me they were running a promotion: "$500 off any new phone." * One minute later: "Sorry, you don't qualify." No explanation, no fine print shown--just "you don't qualify." 2. **Push toward a cheap prepaid phone** * Frustrated, I agreed to the next-best offer: a Galaxy A16 for \$180. * Went home, tried to download my essential work apps... and the phone couldn't even install them. 3. **Refund denied on "prepaid" phone** * I returned to the store within an hour and asked to return it. * The rep said, "Sorry, it's a prepaid phone--no refunds." * In 15 years I've never heard of a "prepaid phone" policy that voids refunds on an unopened device! 4. **Major price discrepancy** * I later discovered Walmart sells the same Galaxy A16 for \$99. * T-Mobile charged me nearly twice as much, then refused to take it back. Result: I feel scammed. The "promotion" was misleading, the product didn't meet my needs, and the no-refund policy is absurd. After a decade and a half of loyalty, I'm done with T-Mobile.

I was limited on time, so I gave it another try, big mistake. I was given a phone number and told to contact the insurance company for the claim. Even though it is customary to call with the customer and assist them, Which I questioned. The short portly red head kept repeating " this is how things are going now, all on line". The store was completely empty, btw and I had interrupted her leaning back and talking to her co-worker. I then, said verbatim, " when I get my new phone sent to me can I come in and have assistance to set it up?". She said ," no just do this, do, that, click her, click that, blah, blah. I looked at her overwhelmed and then I was gas lighted again. " Do you know how to Google? It's easy, just look it up. WoW!!!!! And when I called Alphonso with customer service, he was amazing. When we spoke to Phillip, with the insurance carrier, he was amazing! I asked do you usually get calls from the store, calling on behalf of customers for their claims? Oh yes on a regular basis, that is their JOB! And again she must have said it at least three or four times, " that's just how things are going today". I said then what do I pay you guys for? You could have heard crickets! I will get her name, and I will be writing a formal complaint with her entire name. Horrific attitude, lazy doesn't even sum it up, no work ethic. I've had even worse experiences with a past manager there. He was fired and I can see why. They really need to send a secret shopper to follow up on these employees. Avoid excess fees and additions that aren't asked for being charged! Review all charges before working with them and before paying for services you don't want. I found this location to be a sneaky little store that added a REDUX plan for my new upgraded phone WITHOUT agreement from me prior to the transaction taking place and final payment, REDUX costs $29.99. Although they got my old phone transferred to the new one within an hour and half, that also cost $39.99 which was not discussed prior to the completion, interesting right? There are about 10% of taxes included on both of those two transactions that had me out-of-pocket over $200 just based on those two "purchased" items. I was told my receipt would be emailed, but it was only my user agreements and payment plan for the new phone. I had to call the helpline in order to get my itemized receipt emailed to me, and upon review I found that REDUX was automatically included. Do better.

My trusted fiduciary was scammed by these liars and because of her recommendation so was I. I received an offer by email saying because she signed up for AT&T Premier business account she was offered for her clients a special deal one phone line for $15 perpetual and internet 100-200 mbps for $25 a month perpetual. I confirmed with the rep that this offer was still available and he confirmed it was. Turns out it wasn't. He waited until it was too late to email me my first bill which had a $1.57 late fee. The internet fee was $50 not the $25 I signed up for. AT&T should be criminally charged for their bait and switch tactics and be sent to prison. I filed a police report and a complaint with the FCC. And I'm not done filing complaints. Before you decide to do business with AT&T I recommend you look them up on the better business bureau. They have thousands of complaints for their fraudulent practices. Shame on you AT&T!!

He claimed it'd be an added $200 for the logo. Not even two weeks go by and the screen cracked again! Within the first week the screen started splitting near the top to which I'd just push back in hoping to toughen it out. Then it cracked! Nothing I did could have caused the splitting nor the cracking. The camera quality was also horrible compared to the original screen. When I called him he was very rude and unhelpful. Save your money and just go to Apple.

I've followed every single direction and troubleshooting aspect the AT&T people have asked me to do. They have completely given up on helping me because it's difficult. They don't want to provide me any other resources. And apparently wasting numerous hours of my day is completely and utterly acceptable. Not to mention, the other unprofessionalism, the store associates had. Now apparently not only do I need to waste more hours, figuring out how to get this fixed, based upon their mistakes.... that they assured were not mistakes, but I have to walk around with two phones, no way to use either device out of my house. And waste numerous hours of my life without any compensation whatsoever.
