This review is for the Liberty Ave location in Bloomfield…read more It's currently July 2025 and in December 2024, I dropped off an old pixel 6 of mine because the battery expanded in my hot car. I was told they'd look at it and let me know next steps. I was told I'd need to leave a deposit and I'd hear back. I received a call the next day, wherein a voicemail was left letting me know they'd have to order a battery and it'd arrive in 5-7 days. I never heard back. A few weeks later, I called for an update and was told that they couldn't find my phone but could see the work order and that they'd call me back. No one called me back. I called a month later and was told the same thing and that I'd get a call back. Nope. No call. Oh, by the way, when I "paid a deposit", I was actually signed up for a subscription for Asurion Home that I wasn't made aware of. I cancelled it, but not before I was charged. I visited the store today, as it's clear no one cared to call me back. The manager let me know they likely recycled it after 3 months. He said someone would have called to let me know. Spoiler: no one called me. I, however, did call at the 3 month mark and no one said a word to me outside of letting me know they'd have to keep searching and would call me back. And even though someone said they could see my work order when I called, today I was told there was no work order. I really don't know what to think. Was it deleted to cover tracks when they couldn't find my phone? Did one of them steal my phone and delete the work order? I mean, wtf is happening? From my perspective on the outside, I have to assume the employees either have a min amount of people they need to subscribe to Asurion Home, or there is some sort of credit they receive (it looks like I'm not the only one this has happened to) and the person who I spoke with did so without telling me. Regarding my phone, the manager says it was probably recycled after 3 months and that he couldn't help me. He said to call corporate (which I just did. They asked for the work order#, but that was apparently misplaced along with my phone). His recycled-at-3-months argument is nonsense as well, as my phone went missing after a few weeks. I needed the data on the phone and planned to do a data transfer (per the employee), so I didn't need the phone. It was a phone that wasn't in use. But now the data is gone, along with my phone. This really blows for me. I'm pretty upset and I feel like I won't be helped. So yeah, don't go here unless you're interested in a surprise subscription to Asurion Home and being out the cost of a phone.

One month in repair at Cranberry Township store and they will not provide documentation to prove they even ordered the battery from Dell and a tracking number to show it was lost. "Against corporate policy to do so." Take your electronics elsewhere! This company uses sham tactics!!!!!! Spoke to Corporate at Asurion and believe it or not they offered me a $25 check to settle this $200 issue!!!!! Told them they could do BETTER. Said I could have just picked up my computer and sent it to Dell myself to settle but how the hell do you do that if you have no proof of Ubreakifix's order for replacement battery under warranty and a tracking number to prove it was lost in shipment??!!! All which "corporate" says is not permitted under their "policy" worse yet they try to upsell me on an Asurion maintenance plan!!!!! No on your life! RUN DONT WALK!

If I could give this location a -0 I would. There are some real nasty pigs that work for this…read morelocation and liars too. My mom stopped in the store to get a replacement cellphone for my 92 year old grandma on Friday 11/15/24 and told my mom to stop back in on Monday 11/18/24 because the guy that was helping her did not know how to do his job and messed up everything. My mom does not know how to use a cellphoone very much and guess what the guy didn't do he didn't give her the SIM CARD. My mom and I called the store on Monday 11/15/24 aorund 7:30pm and spoke to Dillon and he was very nasty and rude and told us that we needed to call customer service. My mom didn't want to do that and Dillon said that they are a retail store under the Verizon name but not an actual verizon store and that we needed to call about our FIOS issues to the customer service number after we were allready in the ohone with the idiot piglet for over 15 minutes. Umm at what point did I tell you that we had an issue with FIOS and he knew from the gate that we were dealing with a cellphone issue with no SIM CARD at fault from the guy that my mom spoke to in person on Friday and guess what when my mom went to the store on Monday the guy from Friday that was supposed to be there from open to close was not even there. Then Dillon tells me and my mom on speakerphone that all they care about at the store is selliing equipment and not the customers after they make a sale or even deaiign with any issues and that according to the piglet Dillon you can not go to any verizon stiore and recieve in person service because all stores are independently owned and operated by different retail names even though they say that they are a full service verizon in-person store. Then I ask for the Store Manager's name and Dillon said hang on I have to call my store manager to see if I can even give you his first name. I wait over 15 minutes and guess what the piglet Dillon gets back on the phone and says he doesn't want me to give you his first name. You need to give me your name and number and he will call you back in a few minutes. I said then I will wait for him to call me back tonight and piggy said ni he will call me back whenever he feels like it. Then I ask him if he is at the store by himself or if I could speak to another manager... guess what no manager. Then another person in the background said that she can talk to me and she is another pig too named Natalie. Well guess what Natalie is on top of being a piggy she is also a liar. She listened to me for about 10 seconds and said oh my store manager's name is Alex and then she tells me to give her my name and phone number and that she will call me back in a few minutes and she would help me because she is dealing with a return and that the person making the return is not very happy. Guess what no phone call back. Then we wait for an hour and call back again and guess what piglet Natalie is doing she is still claiming to be taking care of the same customer making the return. She then said that she would call on her way home did a call back ever come. Nope. I have worked as a store manager and that is not how you are to run a store, and this store needs to go out of business. Thank God that I don't have Verizon service and I never will.

This review is directed squarely at Michelle Gandy, the manager of this Cricket Wireless location,…read morebecause the behavior I experienced reflects a clear failure of leadership. I visited this store around 3:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2025, seeking help because my phone would not charge or turn on. I explained calmly that I wanted to understand what my options are such as repair, upgrade, or replacement depending on cost. What I encountered instead was hostility, constant interruptions, and an environment that felt uncomfortable and confrontational. From the moment I walked in, there was no greeting or basic courtesy. As I explained my situation, I was repeatedly cut off and pushed toward financing a new phone without being allowed to fully speak or ask questions. When I mentioned having a budget and possibly needing a less expensive option, the attitude immediately worsened. The situation crossed the line from rude to unacceptable when I put on my jacket and said I was going to step outside briefly while waiting for my phone to power on. I was accused of going to Metro PCS next door. This was an accusation that was completely unprofessional, inappropriate, and hostile. As I left, muttered remarks were made instead of any attempt to de-escalate or help. Another employee, Ray, stood by and did nothing. After the fact, I learned that Michelle Gandy is the manager of this location, which explains a lot. When this is the tone set by management, it's no surprise the staff behaves this way. Poor training, aggressive sales pressure, and disrespect toward customers don't happen by accident, they come from the top. I have been a Cricket customer for over ten years, and this single visit was enough to convince me to leave the carrier once my current service period ends. I had my phone repaired successfully at a shop up the street the same day, proving that I was not given honest or helpful guidance here. If this store continues to be managed this way, it will not survive. Customers do not return to places where they are talked over, accused, and treated like problems instead of people. This location doesn't just have a staff issue, it has a management problem, and until that changes, the reviews will continue to reflect it. Avoid this store.
