Her phone was not charging. Ruth diagnosed the problem, the prong in the phone's charging port was damaged. Now, I have insurance on it which would cost $49 in deductibles and take 2 days to receive a new phone and then a second trip back to have the data moved from phone to phone. Ruth suggested that we buy a wireless charger for $30 so that we could get the phone up and working (my daughter is in college and needs a phone available). Arrived to my appointment and checked in. Come to find out I had to activate an iPhone security bypass that takes an hour (not their fault). Hang out for another hour, disable the security bypass and check in again with the Geek Squad. Informed that they do not have the replacement battery in stock and cannot order one. Refered back to an Apple Repair Center. Issues: - Should have not accepted my appointment if parts not in stock - Should have check inventory on first check-in and avoid an waste of an hour. - Should be able to order the battery - they say they can not. Total Waste of 3 hours. Terrible customer service...I can see why they only get 3 stars.
