I don't usually write reviews, but I want to share my experience with this office. The doctor is really nice and friendly, and that's why I came here - because of all the great reviews on Yelp. They use a therapy called NUCCA, where the doctor adjusts something behind your ear. It's supposed to help your spine balance out without the constant adjustments you get with traditional chiropractors. After my first visit, I felt a bit better for one day. So, I went back for a second session, as the doctor suggested, and again, I felt better for a short while. Then they wanted me to come back in a week, which I did for a third time. But the next day, my body felt all out of balance. My left side felt weird, and I always want to hold something on my left hand to keep my body balance. I was scared. I didn't go back to Dr. Cripe. Instead, I saw two other chiropractors to see their opinions, they told me the same thing that my pelvis had rotated. I spent almost $1000, and it seems like my body got even more unbalanced. I chose this place because of the great reviews, but I want to warn you guys that five-star reviews don't always mean everything's perfect. The doctor is nice, but this therapy can have risks. For nearly two months I had been suffering from neck pain, dizziness, extreme anxiety, ear and head fullness and tension headaches that made it uncomfortable to even lay my head on a pillow. I have been here twice with Dr Weiss, who I was refereed through one of my friends.. He is really really good at this and knows exactly what he is doing and is very informative. He spent over an hour with me on my first visit taking X-rays, examining my body postures, neck C curves and so much more.. March 2020 (at 36 year old) I got my first serious headache. I assumed it was stress related (I own an event rental company and we were obviously a very impacted industry from Covid). For months I did teledoc appts, met with doctors, chiropractors, accupuncturist, rheumatologist, etc. I cut gluten, got $500 inserts for my shoes, new pillows, glasses, meditated, stretched, etc etc etc. After 5 months of daily pain and motrin and muscle relaxer every morning, I thought I had a brain tumor until the pain moved to my neck. Some days I had neck pain and some days completely debilitating headaches where I couldn't even open my eyes or work on the computer or even play with my kids. One evening I was telling my girlfriend about my pain (I had multiple break downs at this point where I thought I would spend the rest of my life in pain) and she said she would send me the contact information for her chiropractor. I didn't think that was necessary because I was going to someone else 3 times a week, but she insisted this was different. After about 6 weeks (maybe only 1-2 times a week), I am completely cured. Cripe wants you to get better quick and not keep you going every other day like most chiropractors. I still can't explain the treatment (it just seems like some magic touch that he does near my ear.) Let me just start off by saying Dr. Cripe is the best thing that has ever happened to me (no joke). I got in a car accident earlier this year and got very bad whip lash. After a couple weeks of slacking off I finally decided to give him a chance. I was greeted by very friendly front staff, had a very in depth consultation about what was going to happen and then got started. The procedure it self was unlike any other I've had before, and at first I was beginning to doubt. However, I no longer had pain and due to my career that's pretty much impossible. Dr Cripe is amazing and seriously saved my life!!! I have been suffering with an off balance, vertigo, and left side body pain for 2 months, which included some of these symptoms: Off balance boat feeling, standing on ice feeling, floating head feeling, vision turning diagonal when bending left, picture frames and any stripes made me feel woozy, leaning to the left, pain in my neck, buttocks, and mid back. It was so debilitating that I was at a complete loss!! I saw so many specialists but could not find any answers. I've been coming here for years when I need help. At first I was skeptical because it's not your usual chiropractic treatment (which I can say is the reason I came here) After prior injuries and being poorly treated and actually being hurt even more through various treatments from other doctors I thought what do I have to lose. The initial exam consisted of two appointments. It's amazing how it works and how good I feel after. I simply cannot say enough great things about them. I put off for the last 5 years of extreme lower back pain and headaches because it was too much work to haul my behind in to Dr. Cripes office even though my husband, father-in-law, daughter and friends had been seeing the Cripe family Drs. for many many years. After seeing the hip specialist ( cause that's where I felt it first) then back/neck specialist, 2 neurologists, 3 physical therapists, an RA doctor, AFTER multiple X-rays and numerous MRIs of all hip neck mid and lower back,being sent to the pain management doctor and being injected with cortisone, lidocaine, Botox ( the list goes on but you get the idea) AND after being treated for pain previously by conventional chiropractic I FINALLY MET DR CRIPE AND DR CRIPE.THIS IS NOT YOUR HEAD WHIPPING,NECK BREAKING CHIROPRACTOR!!! LET THEM TAKE THE X-RAYS ! No one and I saw everyone takes these views. This is a specialty, NUCCA is different ,more precise. It WAS my neck causing all this pain. This pain that now was causing swelling in my ankle,legs, numbness in both feet, one leg and that hip was killing me my low back my one shoulder! Is it covered by insurance no but what did insurance do for me? It cost me time,time spent in pain. Dr CRIPE 1st visit X-rays 2nd adjusted Then they just want you to follow up to see if you are holding the adjustment.
