Stopped by this am on my way to work. Having never been here before I asked about the various options of pretzels and got a great introduction to Crofton's Philadelphia style pretzels. I ordered a few sweet (Oreo, cannoli, and sweet), and one pimento. These pretzels are huge! They are reasonably priced too. I enjoyed my cannoli pretzel and my son and his friends really liked theirs. My husband had the pimento cheese. My pretzel was sweet and salty, soft, and delicious. I could tell that it was fresh and not frozen. It's an unassuming sign out front so you need to be sure to look for it, but the owner was definitely getting business. Holy smokes, the spinach dip stuffed pretzel is heaven on earth! It is nice and golden on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and filled with delicious spinach dip! I swung by here one afternoon to grab pretzels to take with me on a road trip the next day, and these seriously hit the spot! I also nabbed a cheesecake pretzel which was the perfect combination of salty and sweet and super filling. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. When you go in, you have a paper form to fill out with your order which you then hand to the cashier. The man working here is so amazingly friendly. He truly made us feel like family. The new place is really cool inside. It has a lot of tables and a really unique set up. Today they were dealing with an overwhelming response to their opening which meant a bit of a wait and a crowded environment. the Cinnamon pretzel was a gooey decadent treat. I ordered the crab dip, the cheddar jalapeño, and the apple pie stuffed pretzels. They are quite big! The stuffed section is bigger than my fist! The stand out of the three was the crab dip. Great flavor with a decent amount of crab. The apple pie was good but could have used more cinnamon or sugar, or a caramel dipping sauce! The best part was the price! Only $4!! I was super excited to try this place when hearing about pretzels including , pimento bacon, nutella marshmallow, crab dip and other delicious sounding pretzels. My oldest ordered a soft pretzel, they are already made so it was not not hot, and the cheese dip was cold out of the cooler. He was not impressed. When you order a specialty pretzel they are made to order so come out HOT. The specialty pretzels are part regular pretzel, then a larger half is stuffed with the filling. I had marshmallow nutella. Stuffed pretzels made to order and hot out of the oven, what more can you ask for!?! I hate that we didn't get pictures, but this was our on the road, afternoon snack, after 4 hours of driving. We were looking for somewhere to grab a quick savory snack to hold us over until dinner, and Crofton's Pretzels perfectly fit the bill. We tried 2 savory (crap dip & cheesy jalapeno) and 2 sweet (cheesecake & s'mores) pretzels and they were all really great! My pro tip would be to rip or cut open the bottom of the pretzel to expose the filing, then use it like a dip for the non-filled parts. Crofton's does not skimp on the fillings or flavor. I don't review things often , only when a place is on the extremes... and Crofton's Pretzels is amazing. I travel for work and I'm not in town for half the month but my family has made Crofton's our "go-to"pleasure every week I am. Almost every one of the pretzels are fantastic and it depends on taste but I especially love the loaded mashed potatoes, cheesesteak , and all of the desert pretzels. My favorite part is when their seasonal pretzels are in... what I wouldn't give for them to be year long ! Great place , great atmosphere, and great staff. What a fun place to eat! The pretzels are fresh made to order, the dough is yeasty and chewy and the variety is wide enough for everyone's pallet. The best pretzels in Wilmington hands down! I heard so many people talk about this place on Facebook so I had to try it. The people that own it and work there are super nice and accommodating they offer gluten free pretzels and allowed me to order pretzels with no salt or butter. I have tried the stuffed pretzels with spinach and artichoke and buffalo chicken which were amazing!! Also have ordered plain pretzels with the cheese dip which was great as well. I decided to call ahead and order since the eating area is so small and the pandemic is still going on. I ordered a few of their most well-known stuffed pretzels, I tried the bacon and pimento cheese, the pepperoni cheese and the artichoke and spinach. They were all excellent and a great treat for lunch.
