A quick-service bakery located in Islands of Adventure. As soon as I got into the park, I made a beeline to Croissant Moon Bakery to get something for breakfast. The place was busy with the line out the door. Once I made it inside, the line went a bit faster with multiple employees taking orders at the counter. I ordered a cookies and cream croffle. The employee handed it to me and I made my way to the cash register to pay. The cookies and cream croffle was a mixture of a croissant and waffle with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and Oreo-like cookies dumped on top. It was really good and very sweet! The only con is that it would have a lot better if the croffle part was warmed up. You can easily take your treats to-go. My friend and I sat outside the bakery at one of the tables and chairs to enjoy our food. read more

I was really surprised how big the croissant was so it ended up being extra filling. With the Passover discount it came to around $8. If you're in the park and wanting to grab a quick breakfast that you can eat on the go, I would highly recommend stopping in here. The croissant Moon bakery is a small little location. This place was a pretty good breakfast for being located in a theme park! We had the smores iced latte and a toasted marshmallow iced latte. Both were pretty good coffees and got us caffinated for the day! The marshmallow syrup tastes very much like real marshmallows. For food we had the mediterannean market falafel (with falafel, tahini sauce, cucumbers, tomatoes and onions) and the roast beef bistro sandwich ( with a basil onion mayo, onion, and arugula. Croissant Moon Bakery: Located in the Port of Entry section of Islands of Adventure, this quaint bakery is easily overlooked by visitors rushing into the park. While planning my vacation I was instantly attracted to the bakery's catchy name as well as its attractive logo depicting a crescent moon. My tip, use early park entry, ride a couple attractions, and then make your way back to this place for a late breakfast. Many of their items come in at $10 or less, including the Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissant. The ham and cheese tasted fine but are nothing special as they both appear to be the processed stuff available at grocery stores. What I enjoyed most was the croissant used to make this item a sandwich. It was massive, perfectly crispy/flaky, and had a buttery flavor that was not too rich, but just about right. The eggs, like the ham and cheese, were nothing to get too eggcited (I mean excited) about. Nothing wrong with the eggs as they had a mild seasoning and were slightly runny. Dispite the 3 star rating, I genuinely enjoy this place for theme park coffee! I cannot rate based on food so I am counting that out, but I get the s'mores latte everytime I visit the park and it is so delicious! They can do it decaf for you as well! It was super chill in the afternoon but I can see this place getting slammed at peak hours since it's fairly small. Found this gem while exiting islands of adventures. Cute breakfast lunch bakery located near the front entrance of islands of adventure across from Starbucks. Interior is smaller but we enjoyed the outdoor patio area. After walking 20k steps this was a well deserved treat . White and dark chocolate cheesecake is one the best I've had. A perfect texture and not too sweet . Paired with mocha latte was a perfect treat to end the day. We came on a Monday and they close at 4 PM. Not sure about weekend hours . service could be a little friendlier as I think they were ready to close for the day. read more

As we started to place an order, I was told that most of the croissant breakfast sandwiches are premade and no substitute or exclusions are allowed. Fine, I ordered 3 bacon, egg and cheese croissant, ordered a turkey sandwich and a mocha latte. After paying close to $60, I was highly disappointed. The croissant sandwiches were mediocre and of course didn't taste fresh. The turkey sandwich was part cold, part hot and kinda disgusting. The mocha was descent but not the best. To make the experience even worse, the guy that started our order had zero people skills and was rude and dismissive. I do not recommend this place. read more

The menu and location are pretty similar to the Today Cafe. This bakery is in Islands of Adventure while the other is on the studio side. The boys seemed to like the sandwiches here slightly better. The prices were also much better than at the hotel or Disney. A chocolate chip muffin at our hotel was $5 while here it was $3.99 for the better double chocolate muffin. The sandwich platters came with fresh fruit and potato salad along the decent sandwich itself. The boys had trouble finishing. They had the Ultimate Sandwich $14.49 and Hot Turkey Platter $13.49 while mom had a Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissant $7.99. The croissant was the big kind too. The staff was friendly and quick to clean the tables. There was more seating outside too. It was an interesting decor than I'm not sure the name of. Overall highly recommend. read more

Croissant Moon is an often passed by hidden bakery right at the front of Universal's Islands of Adventure! If you're wanting a coffee that's not Starbucks, or a different sweet pick me up this is your place! Along with coffee options such as lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos, there are wide spanning displays with just about every dessert and carb you could hope to have. Muffins, eclairs, cake slices, cookies, brownies, brookies, and I'm not even naming a third of what's there! But I would be careful in your dessert selection because some desserts are, not great.. they sit in that display case all day and are mass processed, hopefully you get what I'm saying. And don't worry, if you want a really meal to go with your caffeine and sugar, they have that too! There are some panini sandwich options, and from my experiences with paninis at other restaurants in the park I think they are actually pretty good! I tried a toasted marshmallow iced latte from here and at first, to be honest I thought it was gross. But, the more I drank the more I actually liked it. It's definitely a strong coffee with a lot of flavoring. I'd probably get a more plain coffee next time but it was worth a shot, or else I'd ask for less flavoring which is something I usually do at any coffee place anyways. Croissant Moon also has a lovely little outdoor seating area that has prime viewing of people watching, which is beyond entertaining at a giant theme park. I love this place because the items are filling without making me feel too weighed down or unable to ride a coaster afterwards. I heard great things about many things on the menu from YouTube videos while planning my trip so I had quite the decision on my hands while here. The staff is friendly. The croissants and breakfast sandwiches are pretty good. The coffee is fine. The setup isn't exactly functional. The line goes into the building from the far end when you're entering the park. When you reach the counter you can order any of the pre-made items including items that should be served hot, but you have to wait until you get to the cashier if you want to order any coffee drinks. This setup just doesn't really make any sense. As I waited in the line for the cashier my bacon, egg, and cheese croissant lost most of its heat. Then when I finally got to the cashier to order my coffee drink, I paid, and then had to wait again while my drink was made. Wouldn't this make a lot more sense if it was oriented the exact opposite way? Picture this: I order my coffee drink and my food at the cashier and then wait for the coffee to be prepared. You can give me my pre-made, still-hot food and coffee at the same time, thank you! Thankfully, the croissant was still pretty good, so kudos for that. They could benefit from having a vegetarian friendly breakfast sandwich or two - seems like it would be pretty easy to leave off the bacon. read more

Not a big breakfast or croissant person, but my husband it. although the egg was super messy. worked really hard at not wearing it. the sandwich itself was yummy. The process is slightly disorganized as my husband waited several minutes for his sandwich and they never called him back up when it was ready, so he did finally go and inquire. Ok so I'm not really sure what to write or what operation they have going on in there. The staff literally look like they are on drugs or just completely clueless. I got the vegan panini which I got previously at the today show cafe and it was really good but the experience was horrible. The location of where the line was originally one area then changed, there was an older employee that looked like she should be home knitting not working. She asked what I wanted to order them walked away and helped another customer that wasn't even on the line! All of the customers in the store watched what was going on and we were all cracking up. Surprisingly enough, good food truly CAN be found in a theme park! Croissant Moon Bakery proves it! Great place to grab a muffin or pastry for breakfast, a sandwich or panini if you'd like a light lunch, or a dessert any time of the day. I've tried several of their baked items and they have all been very fresh and very good. My favourite is the chocolate croissant.... my mouth is watering thinking about it! Hubby's favourite are the chocolate chip cookies. I also enjoy the various sandwiches made with croissants - they are quite tasty. The line can get long at certain times of the day, but it moves quickly. Employees are nice and are happy to tell you about various items. Only down sides is the long wait, even with very few people in line. Very small seating space makes it a bit awkward, luckily the pastries are good for eating on the go. This is the only place in any theme park that is surprisingly affordable. I almost paid $6 for a small chocolate chip cookie next door. I decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed! Their cookies and pastries are massive for only $3 plus tax. I got a cookie, which I really liked that they used chocolate chunks and not chips. I also got the CREAM HORN! It was so so delicious, and I went back before I left the park to buy another. It is not too sweet, flaky crust, whipped cream and a smooth custard in the middle. I can't rave enough about this place! Just be cautious when eating because the powdered sugar flew everywhere. read more

20/20 Hindsight = walk 10 paces further into the park and there's a Starbucks on your left. The breakfast sandwiches with egg and ham on a croissant were okay. The coffee, not that good. The pastries look very pretty in the cases but don't taste like they look. The chocolate croissant was disappointing and tasted nothing like a real pain au chocolat. The éclair was wayyy too sweet and the filling tasted more like pudding than pastry cream. I threw in an extra star because when we spilled a coffee, they gave us a new one without hesitation and also put up with my children's extreme indecisiveness.
