Theres signs that say they stop serving breakfast at 11am so I was pretty disappointed that despite getting in line at 10:45 and getting to the cash register at 10:55, they were turning off the TV which had the menu on it. All that was left to order were baked goods and one cinnamon roll. For those watching their weight and watching out for their little one's diet as well, I wish I didn't waste my time lining up if we were going to be turned away before the stated end time. There is prepackaged fruit and a few sandwiches in the fridge section. On the way to the queue, you walk through with individual packed cereal and oatmeal but unfortunately we were looking for something hot... I come prepared and have all these snacks in the room. I guess come way earlier to guarantee you can get a breakfast sandwich. They should really state that the last call is 15 mins before, etc. There were no made to order lunch menu options at this time either so I ended up just getting a coffee... Though it's not a Starbucks, they do serve espresso drinks and you can request it iced, despite it not being listed on the menu. I have trust issues and don't expect much when it's not Starbucks honestly. But it was a pleasant surprise for me- very rich and bold espresso and very comparable to what you'd and order at Sbux... at least something that made the line at least worth it. read more

This is a quick service food place within the Loews Sapphire Falls hotel lobby. We recently stayed at the hotel and often went here for their breakfast wraps, sandwiches, coffee or tea and snacks. Everything is more expensive because it's in a hotel lobby in a Universal resort, but it is cheaper than the other two restaurants in the hotel and convenient if you don't want to go to City Walk to eat or travel somewhere else for food. I appreciated their quick service and we did enjoy the food offerings. Their sandwiches are a good size for the price, and I enjoyed their chai tea latte (made with coconut milk) because it wasn't too sweet as is common with other large coffee chains. My favorite food from them was actually the empanada (available only after 3pm on the Friday/Saturday we were there) which had a crispy corn dough outside and inside with beef. The place was clean and nicely decorated to fit the theme of the hotel and they have a few tall tables next to them. read more

This place sucks. I payed 15 dollars for two drinks and both of them had at least an inch of room in the cup left. Not only that they didn't even stir my iced latte. A latte should be stirred. We waited 8 minutes for our drinks to be made while the workers stood there talking. Lastly I had to use my own straw because they only have paper straws. At home in the average convenience store they cost about $2-2.50 for a 16oz can but here they are $5ish. Personally I am disappointed with the coffee choices here. For a nice hotel, they are making really basic coffee that isn't much better than a Dunkin and maybe worse. It's like $6 for a cappuccino too. The Americano is awful. Just walk over to Aventura and go to Starbucks. That's my tip. read more

This is a good store to pick up snacks drinks deserts and lots of other items you may need when staying at the hotel. Even the breakfast hot items tasted pretty decent. Prices were not crazy either. For sure a good store on site that is key for items. read more

A long wait for bad coffee. This place is in the lobby of a huge hotel. There are no accommodations for someone wanting just coffee and you need to stand in a long line with people trying to decide what they want for breakfast and how to beat quiet their screaming kids. New Dutch Trading is the store that does that within Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Studios Orlando. Unlike all other sundry type stores found at other hotels: 1) It is huge! And has a large variety of things to sell. Yes cold drinks and snacks are part of the items they sell but they also sell the following. 2) Specialty Coffee and Frappes they make in house 3) Hand scooped Ice Cream and Shakes 4) Sweets and Pastries 5) Beer, Wine and Hard Liquor 6) Sandwiches to go 7) They also sell hot food Plenty of employees also in here, i never had to wait long at all to get what I needed. This place was especially a life saver the first day I was at the resort. I didn't have anytime to eat a proper meal for lunch after some early flights to Orlando. I had to run to proctor an exam... got some quick snacks and a drink and I was out the door in 3 minutes. Super efficient! read more

If you're staying at this hotel then it's the only place you can grab coffee and quick food. It is designed quite nicely, I like the aesthetic of it. They say they serve Starbucks coffee and they use Starbucks cups, but it doesn't taste the same. I ordered an iced matcha latte and it tasted much more watered down than it normally does. A different day I just tried an iced latte and it was okay. As far as food goes, I tried the egg white spinach wrap. It was pretty good except oddly watery - like when you bite into it, it'll drip out. I tried the apple cinnamon muffin which contained no apple pieces in it, quite disappointing. Another time I tried the mac and cheese which is probably good for kids, it was average. I also got the pre-packaged chicken caesar salad but it tasted pretty "meh" the chicken looked way better than it taste, it was just super hard to bite. Overall - you get what you can get. This place has coffee so it'll do and it's the only place here to get a quick bite to eat. So when you don't have time for the restaurants this is your only option at least onsite at the hotel. read more

While it's nice to have the convenience of a little cafe, I can't recommend any of their actual food. The Mac and Cheese smelled and tasted like vomit. The cake pop was inedible. They never had regular black iced tea, only raspberry. Anything fresh we bought got tossed. Stick to the prepackaged drinks and snacks and you'll be fine. read more

I just remember the sign saying "made fresh just for you" and everything was pre-made sitting on counters and shelves who knows how long (all day maybe?) waiting for someone to pick something and take to a register. Sandwiches were pre-made and cellophane wrapped. You could ask them for something not on the shelf but they just pulled another cellophane wrapped sandwich out of the fridge. If you wanted it heated... they'll unwrap and put in a toaster oven for a few minutes. NOTHING was made "fresh just for me" like the sign claimed. read more

Good staff on the night shift. Willing to make drinks not on menu. My wife loves a "London Fog" which is an Earl grey tea made with steamed milk instead of water. Day shift wouldn't even talk about making it. Breakfast wraps are very good and again not bad coffee shop. They do have ice cream, pizza and soups as well. read more

This is the least efficient store I've ever been in. I stayed at the Sapphire Falls hotel for 5 days and not one time was I able to walk in and buy so much as a water without waiting in a 20 minute line. There's no sense of urgency from anyone working there. The food on the menu board isn't even the food that they sell. We stopped even trying to shop there. read more

I went in vacation and saw this place on my first day, I decided to go get ice cream because it looked really good. It was amazing! Giving this place a 2 because the smoothies ingredients for a strawberry banana say: yogurt, strawberry, banana. They add pumps of liquid sugar to the smoothies, that needs to be on the ingredients list. I shouldn't have had to ask if they add anything else to the smoothie, I only caught it because I saw the lady making a smoothie and adding pumps of sugar. People get smoothies to choose a HEALTHY option, adding a bunch of liquid sugar makes it so unhealthy.. what if people are allergic to the liquid sugar they add? Definitely needs to be added to the ingredient list on the menu for people to see. read more

Decent food at a resort premium prices (expected). We ate there several times, but the last time we ordered a sandwich we found hair in it, so I doubt if we will be back. I usually have a Starbucks in the morning, but this hotel lobby only has this coffee, so I had no other option. But let me tell you, they made the most amazing hot mocha latte I've ever had. And the following morning, I had a straight up coffee with almond milk. Their coffee tastes strong without being bitter. I can't wait to visit Sapphire Falls again.
