3.5 stars, but we'll be nice and round up to 4 lol This used to be my FAVORITE pizza.Like I would rant and rave about it to anyone who would listen. The only other location was in Oklahoma but they closed it down practically a decade ago, so Denton is the only location now. It's located near/on UNT's campus so parking is extremely limited and there's construction going on around the restaurant. I love that Crooked Crust offers unlimited toppings for no additional price and that there's so many different sauces and toppings to choose from. I will say that the pizza is thinner than it used to be (it was always fairly thin, but still had some weight to it. Now it's practically thin crust or at least it was when I went recently.) I also noticed that the 50% military discount has been changed, but that's to be expected, especially post-Covid. Either way, Crooked Crust is still a family favorite and I'll pretty much always stop by when I'm passing through Denton. Customer service is great at this location also and every time I've stopped by during the day, it's practically impossible empty so service is quick. read more

I'd give Crooked Dough a 3 out of 5. For my personal taste, it's not really my style of pizza. The dough is very thin--almost cracker-like. When it's fresh, it does have a decent flavor, with a light amount of sauce and a good layer of cheese. That said, it doesn't really have much crust or crunch. It reminds me of more of a late-night flat "cookie-style" pizza. Not bad, just not my preference. Customer service was on point. read more

After Mellow Mushroom in Denton closed down wr tried crooked crust and I am so disappointed wr didn't try it earlier. Salads are really fresh and all the pizza my kiddos had was made fresh and enough to feed the 4 teens I had with me. Our server was very attentive and gave us suggestions on specials and favorites. Parking is a big challenge, so you can find a spot a bit away and walk over. This place gets really busy in weekends and late at night. It is right in the middle of Frye street nightlife. read more

Came here on a Wednesday night with a group of 9. It was pretty empty and we ordered a 12" pizza and side of garlic bread. After 30 minutes all of friends orders had come in and they were mostly done eating. We were questioning where our order was, so I went up and asked about it. TURNS OUT THEY FORGOT TO MAKE THE PIZZA?!? And gave us our "garlic bread" which ended up being cheese bread that they accidentally switched our bread with our friends. We were told we were gonna get refunded in 5 mins so we sat back down to wait for our real order. When our order came in we still had to ask AGAIN for the refund we were told we were gonna get. I almost walked away because the crust was frozen I've had bad experiences with frozen crust this was not one that's for sure. The inside is a indie rock feel there were fliers on the wall of local events super dope. I've tried this place time after time and the service is so unbearable I don't know how they are still in business. There's last minute order cancellation without explanation, rude cashiers and management, and half the time the pizza is incorrect. We inquired about the size. 12 and 16 inch. The "mgr" at the counter indicated we could split the pizza as there were Two of us and we liked different toppings so we ordered a 16 inch. My half consisted of pep, sausage, ground beef, onions, mushrooms, black olives and extra cheese. My sister just wanted cheese on her half. We get our drinks and wait for my name to be called. My sister goes up when it's ready and then she calls for me. They literally made half a pizza. Like never ever, ever, ever have I seen something so funny but stupid at the same time. This was my first time back here since I graduated in 2018...it was very disappointing. I'm hyped this place up to my friend because it used to be really good...I was so embarrassed to find that their quality declined. When we got our drinks the ice maker had BLACK MOLD ON IT which is a health hazard!!!! We waited for 20-30min for our pizza and it was really hard to hear my name get called. This place is underrated. It's a small pizza place near UNT campus & Fry St. You will be welcome even if you're not a student. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have traditional options as well as slightly unique options. In store, you can order 1/4, 1/2, or a whole pizza. 1/2 pizza (we each chose different toppings for our 1/4) and 2 drinks was only $14. The pizza is between a hand tossed and thin crust. It's pretty good. The only negative thing I can say is that something is always out of order. It's an ongoing joke. We guess what will be out of order before walking in. We were charged $5 for a side Ceasar salad that was a tiny bowl of lettuce, stale soggy croutons, and a packet of dressing. It was probably the worst salad I've ever had. We then received our pizza. We had asked for a drizzle of ranch and I didn't see it on either slice. I said excuse me, and the gentleman behind the counter very harshly told me to hold on. When he finally turned around and acknowledged me, I asked for the drizzle. He again very rudely told me he had already put a drizzle on the pizza. Ok...So for the uninitiated, this is the go-to place for cheap pizza in you are on the UNT campus. It's located right on Fry street, next to bars and other eating establishments. Every college has a cheap pizza place, and this is ours. CC is actually really good pizza. I've had some really bad college pizza (UT....I'm looking at you) and CC has done great specialty pizzas like BBQ chicken and The Kitchen Sink. But if you just like cheese, it's good too. I like to add ricotta to mine. It's a UNT tradition to get your CC fix. During the week, the specials are cheap. Like, think 2 slices and a drink for $5. There's also beer here, just in case the upperclassmen want that. It's a great place for group projects because almost everyone can afford to eat here. While it's not haute cuisine, it's perfect for a great slice at a great price. You can get a half a pizza and two drinks for $12. That's a great date price. read more

Let me start by saying the pizza was not bad...but... We ordered a 16 inch with Ham, Spinach and artichoke. We got 2 little pieces of ham on each slice and hardly any artichoke. We also ordered a Cheesecake that was a sliver for $5. From a place that claims unlimited topping I was hoping it would have more topping per slice. Crooked is the spot after 2am on the weekends. It tastes pretty good sober but even better after a long night of drinking. It's also conveniently located on fry right next to the bars so you don't have to drive anywhere. But just a heads up, it definitely gets packed as soon as the bars close. But I went today around lunch time and it was empty, so it's not that packed during the day if you don't feel like waiting. Their system was down today so they were only accepting Cash which is kinda annoying since I never have cash on me, but for some reason I did today. Now to the food! I usually get the buffalo chicken pizza with onions. All the pizzas come with a drink. When I first started school at UNT everything was a little cheaper but they've raised their prices since then. It's really affordable and they offer different combo options for a good price!
