I should start by saying my family and I enjoy the food as a whole. There's enough variety on the menu that we can pretty much find what we're craving anytime. the restaurant itself is nice to bring everyone to. My problem lately has been delivery. 3 of the last 4 times we've ordered for delivery, I've had to drive back up to the restaurant to get something that was wrong or missing from my order. It gets frustrating when I have every intent of sitting down and eating with my family; but instead I have to go and waste 15-20 minutes getting to and from the restaurant that I should've had with them. The salad consisted mostly of the large white chunks of the lettuce ribs, and the drink was a canned soda. In factoring tip and delivery for a restaurant six minutes from my house, I paid over $20 for a portion not big enough for two people. We ordered via online, one x-large cheese pizza and two orders of wings at 6:25, we received confirmation that our order would be ready within 15-35 mins. My husband arrived at the latter part of the time slot, around 7:00 and our order was no where to be found. My husband called me to confirm the order and to provide screenshots of the order. The manager figured it out and advised that the issue was "the way she input the order". My husband waited 10 more mins for our order to be ready and when my husband got home and I was serving my children, the pizza was cold - not at all made ready for pick-up temperature. They do have an extensive menu and the ingredients are definitely better quality as far as toppings and dough. I would give them 3.5 stars if I could. My hubby ordered dry rub wings, his own Italian sausage type pizza and I got The Scorcher which is a chicken pizza w fresh sliced jalapenos. The order was delivered quickly and we got what we paid for. For future, I would have my cast iron skillet ready to go so you can make that crust a little more done so it's not just a floppy pizza slice. Their Caesar salad is very good too and crisp Romaine. My hubby liked it so much he used both containers of dressing. My pizza was delicious and I would order that again. The wings are baked but you can toss them into your air fryer to crisp them up again. I just got home, super excited for a delicious pizza from a different Palio's than I normally go to. The atmosphere in this Palio's is very nice, a little more classy than the old one on Loop 288 that closed. The staff were friendly until I got home and realized that it looked like some of the pizza's ingredients were missing, that's how sparse they were. Also the crust was like chewy and crunchy at the same time as if it had been burnt. When I called to express my frustration, the manager simply told the cashier to tell me he had made and cut the pizza himself and that it was perfectly fine. Well he didn't show it to me when I left or else I would not have accepted it. He sincerely refused to even acknowledge my discontentment. I will not be going there again for the fact that the MANAGER was so unhelpful and Update: An official email came through from Palio's asking to know my order so they could make it right.
