    Chicken power bowl

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express near the stadium, eateries are few and far between: Westgate is a little over a mile away, leaving Crooked Pint and Top Golf as the only options for a dinner after a long day of travel As a sports bar off the highway, Crooked Pint is just fine: a good selection of cheap beer including some local brews and the usual mix of hearty pub grub with some Midwest touches (fried cheese curds, beer battered walleye, juicy lucys et al) I snagged the chicken power bowl: grilled chicken + green beans + cherry tomatoes + black beans + celery over a bed of spinach and quinoa topped with shredded carrot and a spicy sesame dressing. It hit the spot but wasn't too memorable. Washed down with a pint of Piehole Porter from Historic Brewing in Flagstaff, it was a good way to end the day

First time at Crooked Pint Ale House for weekday lunch. Located near Cardinals Stadium west of the Freeway. Place is a huge upscale sports bar. Quickly seated, service was excellent. We both had the walleye pike sandwich served with waffle fries. Large sandwich with a large breaded filet served on a hoagie roll. food was good. Friend enjoyed the ruby ale.

This was perfect stop to meet with a friend after work, and I didn't really focus on the service and the quality of the food much. Excellent location attached to the hotel. I confessed that the food was to fill the empty stomach and so I could drink more cold beer. The nachos was a bit soggy and didn't taste the most fresh, but the flat bread was delicious. It was so crispy and the even amount of cheese on each slice. I think next time I will come back for the drinks and will try some friends and dessert instead.

Visited on Sunday after a rather slow round of golf. Server Maisha took great care of us. Menu had a ton of great looking items so a choice was not easy. The Lucys looked to good to pass up . I chose the California which included cheese, avocado, bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayo, and fries. It sounds like a lot and when it arrived, it definitely was just that..a lot of burger. Hard to get a bite that included everything. It was a great burger, I would put it in the Top 5 in Arizona. So, I would recommend Crooked Pint, next time I will sample the beer options also.

Classic Lucy with waffle fries. Delicious!

I have DoorDashed them a few times now, and I have not been disappointed. The food is top notch delicious! The quality and consistency in service is such a breath of fresh air. The level of care and attention they give to providing outstanding pub food is chef kiss. I absolutely love this place! I could wolf down several orders of those onion rings, let me tell you.

Fries and a burger. The Waffle Fries were cooked perfectly.

The Crooked Pint Ale House is located inside the Holiday Inn. It is spacious, with one entrance from within the hotel and another from the outside. The bathrooms are accessible outside of the Ale House, but they are not far away and are very clean. Service can be slow, both from the wait staff and the kitchen. However, we did not take any steps to encourage the wait staff to speed things up. They seemed unsure of how fast they should be moving, and they would have responded if we had asked them to expedite. One featuredd item on the menu is the "Lucy Burger." Although it is promoted as a stuffed burger, it actually consists of two stacked patties with cheese placed on top, not between. (see picture) No one asked us about our preferred degree of doneness; the default is well done. If you wanted something other than fries, there was an additional charge. The waffle fries, however, were perfectly done. Overall, the burger was just as good as the fries, even though it was cooked well done. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, with soft background music. The most challenging aspect of our two-hour meal was accommodation. However, the seating could have been more comfortable for some. The chairs reclined too much. Despite this, the Ale House was clean and provided a good place for comfortable, casual dining.

We tried this place for lunch on a week day. It was recommended to us. We ordered the pepper jack Lucy and the fish sandwich. We started with the chips and dip. Which I highly recommend if you like house made chips. Hot and yummy and classic French onion dip. We also got waffles fries. Also good.

Used a Groupon and I am sold on this place!! California Juicy and a Surly Furious...that's living. Went before the Cardinals game and it wasn't very busy which I loved. It's inside a Holiday inn which is strange but...give em a try!!

Our second time back at Crooked Pint and it was a very enjoyable experience. Our server was great. Can't remember his name but he was super friendly and attentive. The food was also good. We started with the Cajun Onion Rings and the Garlic Vinegar Wings which were on a Happy Hour special. Then my partner and I got the Beer Cheese Lucy and the Cheesesteak Lucy. I liked the onion rings a lot - they were super flavorful, but my partner thought they were too salty. The burgers were also good, both came with a decent size portion of waffle fries on the side. Who doesn't love waffle fries? This place is little off the beaten track for us, but I definitely see us coming back again in the future.

Breakfast was off the hook! Much praise to the chef! Our waitress Neisha took the experience to another level with her smiles and cheerful service. Made us feel at home. This place is always clean and comfortable. We are definitely hooked! Also can't forget the Bloody Mary was FIRE!!!'

Our first time here. Nice layout. TVs everywhere. A few pinball machines. Outside seating. It's located in the holiday inn. We had really good services. Even when he got really busy he took time to talk to us if we needed anything. Now for the food. We started off with the margarita flat bread and that was so so yummy. Unfortunately they were out of the walleye fish so I got the prime rib French dip loaded. That was very good. The wife had a hog heaven. And that was heavenly. The bbq sauce was so amazing I asked the manager for a container to go.

Had the burger with onion rings and it was good. If you're a connoisseur of onion rings, as I am, be prepared; they're the breaded type (the kind you buy in a big plastic bag at the warehouse club). I think the days of good, fresh 'batter fried' onion rings are long gone. But, that's a story for another day. Just sayin'. But overall, it was a good experience.

It could've used more sauce, but the pickled radish and carrots more than made up for it. The waffle fries were perfectly cooked -- an intentional balance of soft and crisp. The sauces --tartar, blue cheese, and ranch dressing-- were homemade and elevated. The buffalo wings were solid, nothing too special, but cooked very well. The service was really slow, but I attribute this to them being understaffed. Our waitress and hostess were very kind and welcoming. I think they all just need more help. There was a lot of seating and we got to have a choice of a booth. The bar overall is spacious and seating is made for groups.

Vanessa said she didn't think the Beyond Burgers were available anymore. She goes to check and comes back and said they are still available, . We all ordered cheeseburgers with the Beyond patties. We had to modify it without cheese or mayo but we all wanted the caramelized onions. My sister wanted verification that the onions were cooked and Vanessa said that they were. When we got our food which took a long time to get; it was luke warm and no caramelized onions. Vanessa said the cheeseburger doesn't come with caramelized onions! What?! My husband went and got the menu and it clearly states the cheeseburger comes with carmelized onions. I needed a knife to put mustard on my burger but none of us got any sliverware, napkins or coasters for our beers which were sweaty. After waiting for 10 minutes to get silverware my husband got up and got silverware from the bar. Now my lukewarm burger is cold as well as my fries. We asked for the manager and he did bring us caramelized onions in a to-go cup. Plus we got to-go containers to take our food home and reheat it. My sister and I waited tables when we we were young and had a whole lot more common sense. We did tip Vanessa but not nearly as much as we normally do. TP clearly hires based on looks and not brains. It was fairly busy, but we were able to find a few seats at the bar. Our bartender was pretty quick getting us menus and drink orders. We'd eaten a bit earlier so we passed on food. The menu does look pretty good with wings, pizza and appetizers. I was a bit bummed because they don't offer any sour beers or even ciders. The closest I could get was a seltzer. No white claw or anything, but a few flavors of Nutrl I believe it's called. They had of course hard alcohol and regular beers on tap. The location was clean, but could use a little upkeep.
