Overpriced. The smoothie was good but I feel that the prices are too steep. They tried to charge me an extra dollar to switch from almond butter to peanut butter. Seeing as almond butter is a more expensive ingredient that I was leaving out to replace with a cheaper one I had to argue to get the charge removed and the employee said that "they just don't do it that way". She eventually acquiesced though. The smoothie was too small for the price. I also almost bought some celery juice until I learned that it was $10 for a bottle. I work at a smoothie and juice bar up in Massachusetts and if you can believe it, our prices are a good bit cheaper. We use all natural, vegan gluten-free ingredients as well. Okay, so as a recent CA transplant, I am STOKED to have this place so close to us. The prices are pretty much the same to CA butttt no surprise because it's all organic & clean vegan food, however it's pretty much Quick Service (order at the counter), you don't get waited on. We tried the Pizza Rolls which were bomb, and my 1 year old loooved them. The Greek Salad was super yummy too and the chicken substitute (was it tofu?) was very tasty. For drinks, we got an Anti-Inflammatory and Elderberry shot, along with a Moringa Latte for myself and a blended Mocha Latte for my hubby. Chrissy took my order and she was SO sweet. If my mom didn't live 40 minutes away I'd probably be visiting every other day because everything they offer is so delicious! A few top favs include the strawberries and cream smoothie, green love juice, and the cashew bites. Also, I've only had a chance to try two of their rotating donut flavors but they both amazing! They offer donuts Tuesdays and Thursdays but I recommend going earlier bc they can sell out! The gals working there and the owner who I met are all helpful and super friendly. I had a long review but I shortened it. (I never tried the juice).I have seen CROP JUICE at UTC for years & never went in as I thought it was just a juicing place. 2. When I found out from a friend they make smoothies, I got one for $13 which was high for me. I was excited to see "healthy" food, but the employee did not feel like telling me about it. 2. Went back and this time an employee spent some time telling me about the food. No prices listed which is super annoying to keep yelling "how much is this". 3. The desserts look amazing, like art I found one I loved 4. I was kinda hooked and getting broke , telling myself "well it's healthy". Is it? I was consuming how many calories?? 5. I discovered the Clark location (by my work) they are much nicer at this location, still no prices or nutrition - and yes I know they are clean ingredients, I still want to know at least macros. 5. Went to Waterside on a Sunday small store- one person and too busy. Lots of people because of the Farmer's Market, again, no one to answer questions. 6. in under 3months I got a $10 reward for spending $200 - WTW...6. I have seen people in this store just load up on things pay, I am not in that demographic. This is not for me. 7. Since I don't enjoy the UTC store, closets to me, I learned to make my own smoothies, and now go for a "treat" once in awhile. 8. Please get decent cups and straws. Came here from fort myers to try vegan donuts but apparently they only serve them two days a week. Super sad! We tried the taco bowls and the chili. Both were just ok.
