My wife and I had to cancel our memberships recently, and expected it to be a pain. But Claire (a young lady who works up front) made it fast and easy! I'll definitely come back here in the future to re-subscribe when the time is right.

There is only 1 of the major machines that most people use, e.g. leg press, abductors/adductors machines. Only one dead lift area, though you can make do with a couple of other racks. 3 smith machines, which is nice. Plenty of dumbbells, plenty of cables. There is a decline bench which is nice because some places do not have one. There are several cardio machines that are rusted and old. One upright bike machine is about to break off at the handle bars. The staff has been told several times and the response is,"I'll make a note". Most of the dumbbells handles are rusted. Weights are all over the place and not put back, I know that this is not so mush a staff issue and more a gym goer etiquette issue. There is nowhere for any HIIT workouts. There is there is a HIIT room that is closed off and not usable as well as an entire room that was for Pilates at one point but has been locked and unused for at least a year. There is a giant room full of Bikes for classes that maybe 3 people use at one time. There is a small area that is roped off that is used for private training and is used sometimes by others for HIIT workouts but it isn't big enough for more than a couple at a time. The staff is great. No complaints there... the cleaning could be better. The Men's bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers are ok. That appears to be cleaned regularly. The women's locker room is needs an upgrade. There's a wall without a mirror because it looked like it broke so they just tore it down and left it stripped. Some of the lockers don't have doors. The workout area on the other hand could be better. By the end of the day there are no wipes available. The mats and a lot of the area for stretching is hardly cleaned or not cleaned well. I've looked at the same dirty map spot for almost 4 months now. I've seen cleaning crew over there but it's half hearted. The entire place could use a deep clean. The pool area is nice and is used regularly as well as the basketball court, and the dance class room. The child care area seems to be used regularly also but I can't attest to that. Overall: you can get rid of half the bikes in the spin class room and move some of the less used cardio machines in there. Open up the HIIT area and allow people to use at their own risk. We sign waivers for a reason... utilize the large area of the Pilates room if it's going to be closed instead of a storage space. That can be where your bands, or turf for sled pushes or sprint area could be. Hire more cleaning staff or have one come out once a month over night and do a deep clean, and restock the self cleaning supplies. That or continue to do what you're doing and loose business to the other gyms locally.

I just want to warn anyone that might be thinking about joining D1 Training....DO NOT!!! I started…read morebring my 2 girls there in June 2024. July we were told that new management was coming that following Monday. I show up Monday no one there lights off doors locked. No explanation try reaching out to D1 no response for about 2-3 weeks. Finally we get a call stating that their new management and they will be starting class back up and that we would have the weeks missed added to the end of the contract. Well everything was fine until December 12 when I get a text message telling me classes were canceled. I called and spoke with Corey and he stated that the facility was going to be closing for renovations. I already knew something was up. The space is small what more can they do to it. Well, he told me that we will be getting an email from corporate about what going on and that we will be getting refunds. I did receive an email from corporate that Sunday night telling me another lie about what they're doing and how they plan to reopen in 6 weeks but that we were going to be getting a refund by the end of the week. That was December 15 and today is Jan 16 and I still have yet to receive anything from D1. I have sent emails with no response. I called the Frisco location which is were Corey from Firewheel D1 went to. He told me that refunds had been refunded, but after talking to some the other clients that also attended D1 Firewheel they have not yet received their refund either. I've reached out to corporate no response the number for corporate on the website for immediate assistance goes straight to voicemail. I really thought highly of D1 the trainers were all great. But, the owners they don't care about us. They only care about lining their pockets.

I'm doing the 6 week group training and it's going great! Halfway which is only three weeks but…read moremobility, flexibility, and strength are on the rise with fat on the decline. Highly recommend D1!
