He was thorough with explaining the warm up movements and the WOD. There was another drop in that came to the class and both of us felt welcomed by Brandon and the rest of the gym members. I was reading through a few of the others and shocked to see anyone would call the owner, Angi, anything other than kind, genuine, knowledgeable & professional. She's a BIG part of the reason I joined immediately after taking a tour. However, it sounded like that person hadn't even been in the gym so I am unsure why that person even posted (strange). This is such an amazing workout & the classes offered, virtually, range from 15 minutes to 45 minutes so I can always find time for at least 1! I love shedding all the toxins out of my body with the infrared heat and leave there knowing I got an amazing workout in less time than I would have at my previous gym. They won't let you out of a membership or skip a month without a doctors note. There's also a 6 month commitment after signing up. Since I can't skip I don't want to waste my money so I asked to cancel my membership. They told me it's a $200 fee because my membership automatically renewed.... I just hit my 6 month mark.... Honestly just money hungry people that lock you in to a membership and would rather you infect their studio with Covid than help you out and let you skip a month. Just find another studio. Edit: I woke up this morning to a $200 fraudulent charge from the hook on my account after leaving this review. I also left this same review on google and they responded with pure lies trying to save their image. They said my membership renewed 3 months ago which is not true. My membership is set to renew this month in a few days and they refuse to cancel without the $200 fee. This company acts like they are women supporting women but all they do is promote body dysmorphia and steal your money. Second Edit: Just want to put out there the love and support I received in the last message from the hook. They stole $200 from me without my permission and Ive said nothing since this happened last week... just now I get a message telling me to move on then she instantly blocked me. Facility is clean and organized. Super cute merch. They even have a Post Malone mural. I mean c'mon. Staff is friendly and welcoming. If it's your first time I highly recommend the intro class. They did a great job at explaining all the ins and outs. I was a little intimidated at first since I never boxed before but they made me feel so comfortable and they were very encouraging. My instructor, Nancy was awesome! It was not only a great work out spot but something I would plan for my girl group as a fun day/night event to do together. It was a blast and I felt like a bada** with my boxing gloves on. Definitely recommend!
