They are living up to the cliché. (When I canceled my membership several months before that, it DID drop off my credit card statement, but no one ever responded to my emails or calls. Not a "thank you for letting us know" or "sad to see you go." Nothing. I even tried to return the key fob they gave me. Oh, well.)

I purchased a class for my little sister and I to start her birthday off with a positive environment (she's new to the area). We are both familiar with pilates as we take classes weekly but I believe every instructor has their own style and this was our first time at this studio. We weren't welcomed by the instructor nor did she introduce herself to us which felt a bit awkward and unwelcoming. My confirmation email also said nothing about needing grip socks (the studio that I frequent doesn't require them as you can choose to be barefoot or use grip socks) so I wasn't prepared to spend additional money to purchase their socks on top of our class fee. There were certain movements that we didn't quite catch on to as fast as the instructor was telling us to move and it didn't seem like she cared to take the time to explain anything, repeat anything, or encourage us. The instructor very much so focused on about three of the other ladies in the class and talked with them throughout the class. It wasn't until I finally just sat on my reformer until one of the sequences was through that the instructor came over and asked if I wanted a modification and by then it was the end of the class and we felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I'm pretty dissatisfied with the service and I really wish I would've spent my money elsewhere for my sisters birthday. It's a cute place but to feel unwelcome because we aren't regulars felt really wrong to us. I don't know that we will be back.
