I moved to right outside of Boston (Marshfield) 2 years ago and have traveled the surroundings of Boston to find the best view of Boston. Because of COVID's rapid increase I have not entered Boston because Bostons population makes it a superspreader. We went to the crossing nines for lunch today July 4th 2022 . I got the burger my husband got the turkey burger. I asked for medium, it was charred didn't look or taste like meat at all ! Turkey burger wasn't any better ! kaleslaw was warm and gross . our waitress was nice and friendly only for that we would have sent the food back . At $17 each this was a complete rip off . The Crossing 9's is one of my favorite places for cocktails, pizza, and scenery. My only qualm is that recently I went and most of the kitchen staff appeared not to be covering their noses with masks while preparing food. Great time here for my friends birthday last night! They serve small appetizers and great drinks. I got the sangria and the cruel summer and had a bit of a buzz. The drinks are decently strong. They have great couches that are usually out (not yesterday because of the rain) and you can hit balls at the driving range while having small plates and drinks. We came for dinner last night and spent well over $200. After we paid for our dinner we were asked by the wait staff to put masks on and cover our faces. We were the only non-white group in the establishment and we were the only group asked to place our masks back on as we stood up. No other groups standing and drinking were asked to put their masks on and we felt racially profiled and targeted. It's such a disappointment as we were looking to continue drinking but unfortunately based on the wait staffs actions and bias, we left and decided to take our business elsewhere. Change your policies to encompass ALL patrons, not just those you choose to enforce your policies with. Bad look for your establishment, we will be letting our friends know that there is racial profiling in your restaurant or by your wait staff. read more

Nice little bar overlooking Granite Links golf course and the city of Boston. Live music is often part of the atmosphere. I've been many times but this was the first time I've eaten here. i didn't love my philly spring rolls. The food isn't bad though. In fact, the pizza is pretty good. It's certainly not expensive. The hot dog is pretty darn good - not bad for $4. I'll be back sometime to hit balls, practice putting and imbibe IPAs, in that order. read more

Talk about a hidden GEM!!! This place is at a golf course but you don't need to golf to enjoy an amazing bar like this!! The staff... Awesome!! The food is unreal!! Alwaysssss live music! You can drink outside and enjoy the amazing view!!! If you are a golfer and don't have time to play the course... Bring your wedge and putter play some chip and putt with friends!! My buddies and I had dinner here then had a little competition on the putting green!!! One the of the best Friday nights I've had in a long time .... I will 1000% be back all summer!! read more

Really and truly gave it the old college try. I hate being the person who "never complains" but it gets to a point where the service was straight up unacceptable. Lying to patrons that we had to be seated to be served, then barely taking our Oder when we finally sat down, then blaming the patron when either you or your food runner was at fault was just not right. Overall we didn't feel welcomed, we were rushed, and she still never got the order right. Unsettling at best. Please don't come here. read more

Crossing Nines is a great spot to spend a Sunday afternoon, or even if you want to have a low-key weekend night outside of the city. They have quite a few beers on tap and they have a full bar for liquor. The inside is covered but it still feels like you're outside and they have TV's for the Redsox games. They also do live music all the time. Outside has some of the better views overlooking Boston and they have a fire pit and a nice lounge area to enjoy the outside weather. Food is OK, if the food was great this would easily be a 5-star location as it's worth the trip outside of Boston to begin with. It's not bad, I just think it could be a little better. Wings could be fried more, the garlic aioli heavily mayonnaise based and seems to be paired with everything, etc. 4.5 stars read more

Great view, reasonable prices for a light lunch. This place is worth checking out if you are playing a round, at their driving range, or just wanting a nice scenic overlook of a well-maintained course and Boston skyline in the distance. The service has always been lacking though, even on less crowded times it's still hard to flag someone to take your order...having been here numerous times, this seems to be a norm for them. I come up here from Southie 1-2 times a week to hit the driving range and grab a beer. It is $10 to hit a medium size bucket of balls and the driving range is almost always packed with people. If you go on the weekend you will definitely have to wait 20-30 minutes for an opening. But nonetheless you get a great view of the city and a good selection of beer on tap which makes it a great place to hang out. read more

An excellent place to hit the driving range and reasonable pricing for the balls! It started raining, and we just went to the bar, grab a few beers and listened to live music. It's near the city and has some beautiful views of the city. I will be back because it's a beautiful, well-maintained course and you can just chill after at the bar if you want to. Came to granite links for a wedding and the after party was at this establishment. In the parking lot around midnight, two of my friends came back with blood on them, swollen eyes and busted lips. One of them is a very petite woman. We immediately asked the staff to call thebpolice-they never did, but called their security (one of them was definitely in high school and had no idea what protocol was) who proceeded to a)not look for the perpetrators b) refuse to turn over any details/security tapes c) bring some staff to the back who had seen the incident. The perpetrators in question were regulars, and it's pretty alarming that people can get assaulted in a parking lot with no repercussions, no follow up and a clear lack of concern by all staff involved. read more

Came here for my wife's 40th birthday party this past Friday night. There were about 20 of us and we were sitting on the couch and standing around the fire place since it was a busy night. We had Lisa Marie as our server and she made our night extremely enjoyable/fun. We were not expecting to receive great service since it was so packed and they do not except any reservations (downside), but after having our server we were in shock. She was quick, polite, and patient with us.. And very cute personality! Every server on seemed to be the same way. I was so impressed by the food and how quickly it came out. I HIGHLY recommend this place. If you are looking to get a few drinks while listening to live music, this is the place for you. read more

Great atmosphere and perfect view. Went for a quick dinner and drinks and had a terrible time trying to find parking. It was mobbed. Would be better if the golf course/driving range parking was separate from dining parking. It was seat yourself since it is a bar but had an awkward interaction with another couple because we were waiting for the same table. Sanriga was delicious but over priced. Experience would have been more pleasant if you didn't have to fight to get a table and a parking spot. read more

The view is amazing, drinks are good, food is good, driving range, putting green. This is also the second year in a row that they have expanded the outdoor patio space. The pizza and truffle parm tater tots are really good. I've heard the sandwiches are good but I've never had one. Live music on the weeknds is nice. Really the only downside is that it seems to get more expensive every year as well (driving range cost increased from $10 to $12 for a bucket this year, drinks probably a little above average). The view was outstanding! We had the tater tots, jalapeño/pineapple flat bread and drinks. The beer and wine were great. The mixed drinks were weak. Service a 4pm was tough. I don't know if it was a shift change or laziness. We had to get our own drinks while 7 waitress's stood at the bar. Once the shift changed and we had Kelley, she was consistent and attentive. Management should make sure all guests are are tended to despite the shift or time of day. Management was only concerned that we were sitting on the fireplace at 6pm. read more

This place rocks. Totally open outdoor bar at the Granite Links Golf Course when the weather permits. You can see about 70% of the golf course from the little patio, and off in the distance there is a great view of Boston. Drink prices are pretty low for the location, and the food is meh ... but the Tavern restaurant is right across the parking lot if you desire something more than burgers and sandwichs. This is only open when the golf course is open, and usually they will have live music later in the afternoon a few days a week. They often have free wine tasting with cheese on Thursdays as well. Who doesn't want free drinks? Although you can sometimes run into a few loud golf dudes, if you are a chick and want to find a rich horny guy that wants to cheat on his wife, this could be a place you might want to check out. To me this is just what you will always find at a golf course bar, so I am OK with it. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. read more
