This review is for the Service Department at Bill Dodge (GMC). I am so beyond impressed and grateful for the impeccable service that I received today. I brought my 2016 GMC truck in because of a strange noise I've been hearing for months. I previously brought my truck to the service department at another GMC dealer (where I bought it brand new). They had basically told me I was crazy and that nothing was wrong. I also have had to wait for an excessive amount of time at this other facility for every service appointment I've had there. Bill Dodge was the total opposite. They were super friendly, attentive, thorough and efficient. They got to the bottom of the noise I have been suffering through and fixed it, at no charge! To top it off they even ran my truck through the carwash. The whole experience was so positive, and the advisor I worked with was superb. I will be bringing my truck here for service from now on, no question. read more

I wrote an earlier review and stated that I looked into a Cadillac SRX with this dealer. I had planned to travel to the dealership from the New York area and got as far as New Hampshire. In multiple ads, the car was advertised for $29,000 +. Called to inquire and they announced that the price went up just at that moment to $31,000 + . Spoke to the sales manager and he outwardly and boldly and unequivocally stated he wasn't interested in dealing with me. Didn't make any counter-offer either. Then I get a voicemail from another manager asking to understand why I wrote a negative review. I called back three times, no answer. On the fourth, he answered. I explained what had happened- that I wanted to purchase the car and that I had seen the price to be $29,000+ on Kelly Blue Book and his own website and that I made an offer. At that point I was willing to entertain an offer of $29,000 because I really wanted the car. I explained that my wife, too, saw the same listed price. I explained, too, that Kelly Blue Book published the range of fair pricing for this car at $28,979 so essentially I would have to pay a premium over market but I really wanted the car. Well, the call devolved into a shouting match; wouldn't hear my side of the story, he was hostile as all get-out, and with a WITH A CUSTOMER, mind you, and called my rude and virtually called me a liar. My suggestion is to take a screenshot of all ads you see from this dealer, including the one's on the dealer website, before approaching them to make a purchase. read more

Be real careful buying from these guys. I bought a used Toyota Tundra from them and the rotors were shot with a new sticker. Having the vehicle for a few months I just changed them out. Still had a very little pad left but inspection failed. Check Everything on thier used vehicles. I bought mine in Brunswick and they are no longer there. NO SURPRISE THERE read more

I have had general motors trucks, diesels, for the last 10 years. Have tried numerous repair facilities including several dealers. This is my go to place. No matter what the issue they get it fixed and if you get there early with a problem they will take you in, no appointment. That is HUGE!. Good WiFi and comfortable places to work if you bring your laptop. They provide loaners when they can or make arrangements at enterprise at discounted rates. I want to thank Bill Dodge Cadillac and service manager Bob Williams. I have a Cadillac that was purchased and stretched by another company to fit our needs. When we received it the work the other company had done was horrible and they fought with us to get it fixed. We brought it to Bob and after 115 hours of trying to figure out the problem his mechanic Wayne did it. In that time Bob fought for us with the other company sending pictures, numerous phone calls, and I am sure many aggravating hours on the phone with them he got them to actually pay the bill. Bob, his staff, and Bill Dodge went over and above what I think anyone would expect. I can not thank them enough and it makes me proud to say that I own a Cadillac and Bill Dodge took care of it. read more

Sales Department is great to deal with. The service department is a nightmare. Purchased a Jeep Wrangler three weeks ago. The change oil light came on so we brought it to our local mechanic to change the oil and move the placement of the inspection sticker because it was slapped on crooked. Our mechanic found that the Jeep has a left axle seal leak. Called the service department to see if this is covered under the factory warranty. After leaving three voicemails (3 days in a row) we finally got a call back from Celeste chomping on her gum who told us she doesn't have time to help us and that she has too much on her plate to see if this issue is covered under warranty. She told us we would just need to bring the car in on Friday. Very poor customer service and will never recommend Bill Dodge Service Center to anyone. read more

Pretty sure his company is trying to kill myself and my co-workers, we have all of our one ton dump trucks worked on there and in the year I have been working at the company bringing them here for service, we have had tires fall or come close to falling off because of not torquing lug nuts correctly. I can't believe this is the quality that a large auto group holds standard, as a former technician myself I am disgusted by this and am sure that the technicians that work at Bill Dodge do not care about attention and detail on the vehicles that they work on or the wellbeing of the people driving said vehicles. I will personally never go here for service or to buy ANYTHING. read more

I needed a special order GMC cargo van for a camper conversion I have scheduled in Canada. I live on the West coast but needed the van conversion done in Quebec and didn't want to drive a brand new van clear across the county, I had no knowledge of Bill Dodge auto group, I just picked it randomly because it was a big dealer close to Quebec area. When I called I was lucky enough to get John Hale as my sales person. He worked with me for over 6 months to make my van a reality, getting me a great deal and keeping me updated all along the way. I picked up my van this weekend and finally got to meet John in person. The van is perfect and even better is the friendship I have made. I have never met a car salesperson with more integrity and honesty in my whole life. I don't know how I got lucky enough to randomly get John Hale to work with, but you could probably ask for him. read more

It should be no stars.. I've never seen such unprofessional service. We were treated terribly. I've never seen anyone so desperate for a sale to the point where the manager said "I was going to give you an exclusive discount too!" And walked off. Sorry we didn't find what we were looking for? This is a huge investment? Then kept calling me back for months to check in, telling us that they have another car for us to look at. Felt like we were wrapped in a game of theirs. I checked there web site inventory and found two vehicles I was interested in. Then I emailed andie Ewing the internet salesperson and gave her the two vin numbers and she responded that they had one of the two in stock. I emailed back to ask her hours and told her I was on my way . I arrived 90 minutes later as I live 60 miles away and she made me wait 45 more minutes then told me she had bad news and vehicle wasn't in stock after all but she could check gmc inventory etc. it was a classic case of bait and switch and I told them it was very poor customer service and I wouldn't buy a vehicle from them. Sales manager wasn't any help either. Stay away! read more

I had the most terrible customer service experience of my life at the Bill Dodge Used Car Super Center in Westbrook! I have been a customer of Bill Dodge for over 25 years and expected to be treated with care and consideration, but the Sales Manager there, Ryan Williams, during our negotiation on a vehicle, was rude, denigrating and flat-out insulting to me and my daughter and could have cared less that I had been a loyal customer of BDAG for so many years. I will never buy another vehicle from them again and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to be treated decently and respectfully. read more

I went to Bill Dodge GMC to look into trading my current 2010 Acadia in for a new 2014 model. I had already been to another GMC dealership and had gotten a good price on a 2013 loaner model so I really didn't expect to get a price even close to the 2013 model for a 2014 Acadia. I was greeted warmly by the Sales Manager(Rick Robinson) and subsequently by one of the salesmen named Al. After listening to what I wanted in options, Al accompanied on a test drive in an Acadia that matched my requested options perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised when Al came back with a trade-in offer that was $3K above the offer I received at another GMC dealership, and was able to get me a nice discount on the list price of the 2014 Acadia. I ended up buying the red 2014 GMC Acadia SLT-1 and LOVE IT! I could not have had a better experience with Rick and Al and I highly recommend Bill Dodge GMC to others! read more
