Just had lunch and it was AMAZING! Found myself going "mmmm" with every bite. I had the Hyd Chicken Dum Biryani (mild) and my son had Butter Chicken Masala (medium). It was my first time trying a Biryani and I will have it again for sure! I had a generous serving of flavorful rice with bone in chicken that was to die for! It was served with 2 cups of sauce, a hot red sauce and a yogurt sauce. I came home with enough leftovers for dinner. My son always gets the Butter Chicken Masala and raves over the flavor and sauce (never any leftovers). The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a small, cozy place and they serve in takeout style containers but have self service paper plates and plastic utensils. We also got their Chapati and Malabar Parata. The breads looked very similar and were both delicious, though different (Chapati was flatter and crisper, the Parata was layered and luscious). We will be back! read more

If you know the difference between various cuisines of the Indian states and are hungry for authentic "Andhra" curries and biryani from the Moghul empire, this is a place you must try. So far I have enjoyed the biryanis, chicken 65 & the eggplant curry - all very tasty & flavorful and they respect the request for 9/10 spice level. I would have given 5 starts but the service time (and delivery issues) force me to stay at 4 stars. The wait time I was given for pickup was 30 minutes but took a little over an hour. Second time the Uber eats driver had to just wait without an ETA for over 45 minutes. Please fix this. The online ordering feature on their website is powered by DoorDash but this restaurant doesn't show up in DoorDash app. Grubhub shows the restaurant and is powered by Google maps but can't find my address thru the app though Google maps finds it. Uber Eats works but the drivers end up waiting and you never know ETA of delivery. Granted they can't help with issues in these apps but in this day and age, if you can't order delivery reliably, you are going to lose customers. Note, however, you don't go here for the ambiance or fine dining experience, this is a cool hole in the wall place for those with patience and want tasty food. read more

The food here is delicious! Paneer butter masala and the thangadi kabab pack so much flavor! The reason I didn't give them a 5- the kabab (bone in leg piece) could've used more char to get the flavor incorporated better. The garlic nan was slightly over cooked- flavor was there but the fluffiness and softness weren't. Overall I highly recommend this place. I'll be going back to try something different. read more

The only biryani I'd had before was a coworker's homemade biryani. Obviously I was immediately hooked but as I'm lazy and can't ask my coworker to make it for me all the time, I was super excited when this place opened. They still do takeout during covid, but I only ever did takeout prior, so I can't speak on their service or dine in experience, but I've never been disappointed in their food. I LOVE their veg biryani and it can usually last me 2-4 meals (my s.o. Only gets one meal out of it). Anyway, I highly recommend the food and the spices are bangin. This was our first time here. After reading the previous review, I had doubts. So I was pleasantly surprised when the food really good. The Basmati rice was fluffy and delicious. The Garlic naan was awesome and our meals we really good. The only criticism I have is that the tables need wiped off. Don't bother. We've tried twice to order food from this restaurant and it takes them 2 to 3 hours to fill the order. We did not plan on ever order from them again but they have set up 2 ghost kitchens through Uber Eats, one called Curry Spoon. The first time we ordered we called after 2 hours and they told us it would take longer since we'd ordered so many entrees. We'd ordered 3. That doesn't seem like it should take 2 hours to make. The second order the driver actually left the restaurant to run other deliveries since they'd sat there for an hour waiting on the food to be prepared. We're currently still waiting for our food and contemplating canceling the order. We would not have ordered from Curry Spoon if we'd know it was this restaurant. Avoid this place if you actually want to eat. read more

THIS PLACE ROCKS! Absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the Andhra curry. The chicken pakoda is also great and almost can stand alone as it's own meal/entree. We really enjoy this place. The only reason that I put 4 stars is it is INCREDIBLY spicy. We have asked for a dish to actually be extra mild and still it was hard to eat it was so spicy. However... the seasoning here is fabulous. This is good food cooked the right way. Their naan is AMAZING, best I've had. The owner is very friendly and wants to take care of his customers. This place is the best around for Indian food. It is from a specific region of India and has so many flavors and spices. It is delicious! My boyfriend loved it as well. I was there two weeks ago and it was very disappointing. Service is ridiculously slow. They forget to put my naan in my order. The rice was sticky and bland, not like basmati rice should be. We catered food from here for a large event, I was super happy with the prices and the quantity of food ! There was plenty to go around. The food was excellent, everyone loved it. We catered three appetizers- chicken 65 , gobi manchurian and fish, it was incredibly well spiced and seasoned. The Andhra goat curry was so flavorful and tasty. We were really impressed with hospitality and service , they provided hot boxes and catering stands and all the warming trays. In addition to that, they brought balloons and a card for the birthday person we were celebrating. I was very pleased with my overall interaction and the services I got.
