These were just great "homemade" tasting burgers. My fries were excellent, but the onion rings - OMG, the onion rings - were to die for. They had listed under appetizers Bacon Cheese Fries! I asked if they were big enough for two and she said yes! She said some young girls had come in the other day and ordered cheeseburger baskets with fries and ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries and couldn't finish all of their Cheeseburgers!!! So we just ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries and ordered burgers. My wife ordered her self a Cheeseburger with Mayo, cut the lettuce. I ordered a Double Meat Cheeseburger all the way with mayo and jalapenos. These burgers were so good you might think I'm exaggerating, but the patties on these burgers are at least 1/2 inch thick or more! The patties are not only big, but also seasoned just right!! My Double cheeseburger was almost too big to get my mouth around!. It's really hard to describe just how good these burgers are! I would without hesitation put their burgers up against any establishment in this area, I'm not kidding. The inside of Cajun and More had a real nice ambience to it and the service is right on point! Our waitress was very friendly and outgoing, and very helpful. They have a really expansive menu for being a smaller establishment. They have a great selection of appetizers, Burgers and other sandwiches. They have daily lunch specials like Meatloaf with two sides and it changes daily. Chicken Fried Steaks, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo which I've Heard is really good! We were both full and satisfied with our meal! The inside of Fausto's is like what is to be expected from the outside. Enough tables & booths to seat 50, TVs on the wall, plastic plants, old license plates and a Bob's Big Boy sign for decor. It's the kind of place where local celebrity Micah Tyler would feel at home. If you want luxury dining, drive two hours to Houston's Galleria area. For a smidge under $20, we got a thigh & a leg each, she got fries, I got coleslaw, two Cokes. We sat down and got situated - and then someone brought out our dinner one minute later! Now THAT is fast food, and this isn't even a fast food joint. We both enjoyed the chicken. It was hot but not too hot, moist meat, light crunchy skin. Hot sauce bottles are near the drinks, I didn't see them until we were leaving :-( , the chicken would have tasted better with either Tabasco or Texas Pete's. The coleslaw was okay, a little dry. The Hunny wolfed down her fries. Fausto's is a good place to eat, whether for dates, families, sports teams, larger groups, or Micah Tyler. Its casual atmosphere is a good fit for the little Piney Woods town of Buna. It's likely a good fit for you too. Fausto's: making fried chicken great again.

They were very small!!! No where near what they once were. I'd compare them to something you'd get from McDonald's. Very small and not near what it was a few months ago. We haven't had the chicken yet, but will give it a try in the near future, but have read several comments on the chicken. Like being dry, and little or no seasoning to it, and a couple of other things. We were very disappointed in how they have changed the burgers. Point being, if you take over a very successful establishment, why would you change something that works??? I have seen the sign saying they have a salad bar. I haven't seen it, but have heard from a couple of people that it is disappointing and barely makes salad bar status. I do know I'm going to have to go in and just see for myself if all of these things are true or not. But if things have changed like the burgers were changed, I will update this review too. But the burgers are a perfect example of why you don't fix things that aren't broken. Not sure if the inside ambience has changed, but will find out soon.

Their burgers are not pre-formed patties of fake hamburger substance. These are hamburgers they make themselves and are excellent. I used to wonder why the Dairy Queen in Jasper went out of business but not anymore. Their baskets are worth every penny and are huge portions.
