The menu was pretty straight forward and everything had a great description. It was tough to select just one item. The service was Great. I believe her name was Kayla she just came back from Maternity leave. She was a cute and bubbly brunette with lots of personality and suggestions because it was our first time here. The BBQ burger was awesome AND FRIES OMG yummmmmy. My mom got the tuna and chicken noodle soup. And my chicken cheesesteak hoagie was outstanding. Perfect meal. Except for the 2 dramatic gentlemen discussing the one man's newly happening divorce. Next time, we will ask to be moved away from his toxic conversation.

We came here very hungry after a Sunday morning hike and we're glad we did. We planned on having breakfast but when we saw all of the tempting lunch choices, we decided to get lunch. I had a delicious, savory cheesesteak with cheddar and onions (one of the best I've had in this area) and sweet potato fries, my son had a chicken and cheese quesadilla-which he said was very good, and my husband had a BLT on rye with a side of chicken soup-which he said was very tasty. Our server was friendly, attentive and provided fast service. The portion sizes are very big and it's likely it'll be "your meal for the day" if you come here. Finally, the menu prices are very reasonable considering what it cost to eat out in general these days. All around very good. Come show this diner some love!

Excellent breakfast with HUGE portions all day and absolutely fresh, delicious homemade desserts including cakes and pies. Friendly staff, great service. Can get crowded during peak hours but always worthwhile.

Let me start off by saying, this is NOT your mom mom and pop pop's Crossroads... lol..... I'm glad they kept the name for nostalgia reasons. Like the owner told me, it's better to keep the memories versus having yet another Wawa or Royal Farms on Kirkwood Highway. Now to the food. I had the Veggie Omelette that came with hash browns and rye toast. I ordered a side corned beef hash.... Everything was excellent. The omelette was full of fresh veggies, and cooked to perfection. The potatoes were seasoned well and crispy.....Just like I like them. The corned beef hash was the star though. Obviously house made. Full of big chunks of corned beef that was tender and delicious. If they did this good, day 1, can't wait to see what they look like in a month

They need to have more than just Tabasco sauce on hand. Change things up. Even Frank's Red Hot or Texas Pete would be a nice change.

The grilled salmon and asparagus salad is wonderful. My husband likes the traditional turkey with stuffing. Worth the money!

Beautiful dinner. I love to cook and I get so disappointed when we go to dinner and it's just…read moresub-par. I can say without a doubt that the Chef at Eclipse LOVES to cook and cares about what he/she puts on a plate. Amazing food. Husband had the pork chop and was beyond pleased with his food. Had a maple bacon glaze - need I say more....and was cooked to perfection; seared and caramelized on the outside, but juicy inside. I had the chicken dish and it was equally amazing. The skin was rendered and so crunchy AND meat was so tender. Was sitting in a perfect lemony sauce, served with super crunchy potatoes. Also, the staff was so personable and attentive. Just a pleasure. We are in Delaware from Ft Lauderdale, and are so thankful for Yelp reviews. They led us to Eclipse and we are SO HAPPY they did. Thank you Eclipse Bistro for a memorable, beautiful dinner!

This is a lovely spot for a special occasion because they give you a giant sparkler for the guest of honor at the end of your meal. It's an intimate restaurant. I loved the unique lights at the tables that felt like taper candles. I'm not sure if it's because of what we ordered, but wait times were really long. It took about an hour for us to get our entrees. Thankfully we were in good company. And our party enjoyed their cocktails. We started with the brussels and cauliflower. This was beyond delicious. You have to order this as a starter. They had a quail special and monkfish special the evening we were there. The birthday girl ordered the quail. It took about an hour to arrive and came undercooked. Thankfully they were kind about cooking it more. I think she enjoyed it once she got to eat. Her husband got the pork chops. I shared the monkfish with a friend and really enjoyed it. We also got the seared tuna for the table and that was good too. Our waitress was super kind especially with the food hiccups. They have one gender neutral restroom stall. It has the prettiest wallpaper. We were stuffed by the time the dessert menus came out. Thankfully they still gave us a mini scoop of ice cream for the birthday girl with a sparkler. It was lots of fun. I think wait times were long for the specials and if we stuck to the regular menu things would've arrived faster. I'd go back to try more yummy food.

I'm always up for trying new places. Especially when it comes to craft beer. That part was fine. if…read moreyou like craft beer you will find something you like. Still, I'm landing 50/50 on this place. Here's why. For starters other than already knowing it was there and getting a recommendation from someone else, there is no signage. The words Farm A Sea do not appear anywhere that I could see. Not outside. Not even inside. Also the signs outside that have arrows that point to "Restaurant" point towards each other. I drove around the building twice and had to assume that there was an entrance inside the lobby of the hotel somewhere. Also its not kid friendly. Not in that there is any kind of element that is detrimental to kids. They just don't have a specific kids menu. I'm not even sure they have booster seats. We just got lucky that mac & cheese was a dinner special. We ordered our meals and the Pork Belly as an app. After waiting entirely too long for an app to come out our dinners arrived. The waitress forgot to put in the order for the app. Which I asked her to bring anyway. I regretted that later. The mac & cheese was actually really really good. It had some kind of meat, maybe hamburger in it so it was kind of like a helper type deal. The 4 year old liked it, the 9 year old and I finished it off. My oldest had the wings from the app menu. Nice chili sauce. The drums were really good. However the actual wings were really fatty. Fatty to the point of just mush. Or they were undercooked. Not sure which. For my main I had the sausage flat bread. Which was cold. Not room temp. Cold. Especially compared to the mac and the wings. It was also under seasoned. I was willing to forgive all of this had the late app pork belly been good. That was the worst. I have had pork belly many places. I understand its 50% fat, 50% meat. But it should be even with meat on one side and fat on the other. Not 50% meat pieces and 50% fat pieces. Im not even sure they used the right cut of meat. It wasn't even salty or pull apart like the meat should be. If you want to know what Pork Belly should be like... go to 8th & Union in Wilmington and get the fried rice. Awesome. So with that I stand 50/50. This place has no foot traffic and no signage. The location already failed as a hotel once before the renovation. So If they cant work on being consistent I don't see it lasting. I may or may not go back.

Good morning everyone,…read more Let me start by saying I've lived in this area since 2015, and I'm honestly upset I didn't discover this place sooner. I'm not that old, but the nostalgia this restaurant brings back reminds me of waking up with my family and my father taking us out for a great breakfast. The staff here are simply amazing. It's easy to see why people keep coming back. The restaurant has been in operation since 1975, and that alone tells you they're doing something right. Back to the staff--these ladies and gentlemen treat you like you've been a regular since day one. Today, I'm seated in a small booth by the entrance, and as someone who enjoys people-watching, I've been paying attention to how they interact with customers. They truly have a gift for conversation. The small, personal exchanges they have with each guest show a real attention to detail. For some customers, they know personal details--asking about family members and sharing genuine concern. For others just passing through, they take the time to learn where they're from, how long they're staying, and wish them well on their visit. They work seamlessly as a team. Everyone steps in to support one another, and no one misses a beat. It's a well-oiled machine, and their experience clearly shows. I'm not sure how long some of them have been here, but larger companies could definitely learn a thing or two from this level of teamwork and service. They are attentive, friendly, and professional. Lastly, the food--absolutely outstanding. Everything tastes fresh, and I've tried several different meals without a single disappointment. And the coffee? Excellent. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. If you're looking for a welcoming, people-friendly atmosphere with great food and even better coffee, I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.

The food gives you that fine dining experience without the pretentiousness. The staff is warm and friendly -- shout out to Chet for his amazing service. They were also very accommodating to our son who was in between napping when we began dining, setting up a high chair for us in a way that would allow him to continue sleeping in his car seat. We started the meal off with some seared scallops that were perfectly arranged. Next, my wife had some seared tuna while I ordered the Colorado bison -- both items off of the special seasonal menu. The dishes were incredibly flavorful and the veggies that surrounded the meat added a nice complement. I also really enjoyed my California cab, as did my wife with her house Manhattan. We will definitely be back next time we are in Delaware, and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hockessin area!

(Server rectified) The pasta carbonara was prepared using guanciale instead of bacon or pancetta. I found it too rich and almost over cooked. The duck wings appetizer my friend had were excellent. The fresh fish entree was delicious. The cheesecake dessert was a thing of beauty. I would probably try again, but it's a half an hour away. (We passed way too many other restaurants to try)
