Great service and breakfast/brunch food! We went here for…read morebreakfast before WildWater and we thought it was great. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and my husband got The Southern. Since there were so few people that early ~9:30am, our service was speedy and friendly. The portions were large. My husband did ask for no bell peppers and there were some in the hashbrown casserole, but they promptly replaced it with some fried potatoes. Much faster service than Cracker Barrel and we like to try new places. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g30466-d26364808-r1070812868-Puckett_s_Restaurant-Cullman_Alabama.html#

Not bad but not great…read more Had the FGBLT (fried green tomato BLT). It's an interesting take on the traditional BLT. The bacon overpowered everything else. The fries are gross. Greasy with an odd sweet seasoning? Like paprika blended with sugar. Kiddo had the chicken club. He really liked it. The addition of pimento cheese was interesting in a good way. He did not eat his fries, this kid always eats his fries. I liked the vibe of the place, they do live music and that's cool. The service (or lack thereof) is the reason for the 3-star rating. Our server vanished. Never once checked on us, we had to wait 15 minutes after eating for our check. It was so bad that we had to wave down another server to finally get the check.

Beautiful , high end best steak in the shoals area…read moreExcellent service, my favorite place For aa special meal

After learning there was a classic upscale steakhouse open since 1956 near where we were staying,…read morewe were excited to visit. Unfortunately we left pretty disappointed. Started with a beer served in the can, waitress returned with a chilled glass and poured. No big deal, just interesting. I'd never seen a beer can in an upscale steakhouse before. Wife complemented her lemon martini. Oyster rockefeller, served in a dish instead of in the shell. A couple were a little gritty, a little much raw onion for my taste and served with tiny cocktail forks that made it a bit of a challenge to eat. House salad was small; the Roquefort dressing I asked for on the side was excellent. Ordered the George special ribeye as it looked to be their signature steak. No hint of the wood grill flavor I'd been really looking forward to. It was a tough cut, and the flavor a bit off, perhaps they season with lemon? Or maybe the cut was a bit past its prime? Anyway, the steak fries it came with were a real highlight of the meal. Wife, wanting a lighter meal, ordered the lobster tail. Her side, badly overcooked and burnt brussel sprouts, was bad. Replaced with steamed mixed vegetables which she liked a lot more. It's a pleasant place in an unexpected location, and service was very friendly and helpful. I want to send love to a locally owned spot like George's, but it's not a place we'd return to. When we want a great steak in a wonderful atmosphere, at about the same price, in the area, sorry guys, but we'll be at the 360 grille.
