After having my tow pushed back 3 hours by a different company AAA reached out to try to find another option and they accepted the late (1:30am at that point!) call, they quickly came! The driver was fast to load my car on, pleasant on the ride home (Irvine to Oceanside so a bit of mileage there) and drove safely the whole way home. I may have been waiting all night at the rate the other company was pushing my tow back, thank you so much Cross Roadz! Scott was my tow truck driver and showed up about an hour after I made the initial request. I made sure to ask if I could ride with him, since the last driver from Roadway wouldn't let me. He was very honest and down-to-earth, so I was relieved due to some previous experiences that were unpleasant. In any case, I arrived at the dealership safely, and it was actually my first time tipping a tow truck driver because of how he handled my situation. Side note: I'm glad I didn't have to deal with Roadway Auto Towing again, but I did realize that the service department at the dealership was closed on the day I intended to get my car repaired and should have carefully checked the hours for that specific department. I towed my Range Rover recently to the respective mechanical shop of my choice. Vicky in dispatch was advised several times the vehicle must be delivered prior to 5 PM. It was delivered at 5:30 PM. Vicky had assured me a credit Kristina the office manager was extremely rude, uneducated and severely lacked in customer service training and skills. Kristina proceeded to inform me she attended law school and told me I couldn't afford their towing services. She also stated that she would have AAA drop myself as a client, in which I have been a premier client for years. This was all free comedic entertainment. Frankly, I don't believe she graduated from high school. I highly recommend NOT utilizing any and all services of the company stated in the aforesaid, as its employees are low level and do not take responsibility for their actions. I will be disputing the charge and will file a lawsuit in small claims court. Kristina, my advise to you is listen, learn and bring solutions to your clients.Business 101 never argue with your clients and be a good listener to bring solutions to the matter. Furthermore, I have reported your organization to The Better Business Bureau. In conclusion, never insult your clients as word of mouth, especially on social media can be devastating to the business owner. To be clear Vicki was never rude to me on the phone it was your relative Kristina Y . Fire her and promote Vicki she has a better customer service temperament. My car wouldn't start yesterday evening. Had the neighbor come over to give it a jump, but after he tried a couple times, my car wouldn't start-- the engine wasn't turning over. Just dead. Thought it might be the alternator, but we're no experts, so I called to arrange a tow to the garage the next morning. Scott called when he was about 10 minutes out to give me a heads-up... great customer service, friendly and understanding. When Scott got to my house, he asked if we tried a jump and when I said yes, he asked if the other vehicle was a new car. Scott is a man who knows his stuff. My neighbor has a brand new truck. What we didn't know when we tried to jump my car the night before was that newer vehicles can't always charge older ones. Who knew?? Scott knew. So he brought out his portable power pack and, like magic, got my car running! My car battery was definitely dead and needed to be replaced. Thank goodness it wasn't the alternator which would be considerably more expensive to repair/replace. So instead of towing it to the garage and paying for diagnostics and most likely a laundry list of repair work that my car might not have really needed, Scott pointed me in the right direction to get the battery replaced ASAP and within an hour, I had the full use of my car back. I had a blow out this evening with my son in the car on a dark highway. Nick showed up to save the day. I wasn't sure if I had a spare but Nick was able to find it and put it on car. Then the spare was low on air and luckily I have a portable air compressor. So Nick put air in the spare and we were ready to go. He gave an honest effort with troubleshooting my battery and figured out that it was a bigger issue than needing a jump start. When we called AAA ERS on the evening of 01/05/25 due to a tire blowout, we were stranded in an unsafe area of Fallbrook, Ca. Although we were able to exit the freeway, a CHP officer informed us that the area we pulled off to was unsafe, and we should try and move the vehicle as soon as possible. The AAA ERS rep was friendly, efficient, and listened when I informed the rep that my two minor children were also with me, and we were 60 miles away from home rendering travel on a donut tire not an option. In addison, all tire shops and repair shops were closed at 8 pm on Sunday night. ERS informed us it would be an hour before a tow would be able to get to us . The initial contracted tow company dropped the call but fortunately. it was picked up by Crossroadz Towing, Escondido .Not only was the tow truck driver, Diane, able to get to us in 30 min.but she handled our vehicle with care, and was able to transport both my vehicle and family home safely due to tow truck extended cab! Diane was kind, personable and her tow truck was the cleanest most pristine tow vehicle I jace seen. Diane made my family of 4 feel safe, comfortable and valued as a customer. It was evident that Diane truly loves her job and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance.
