Second time in 10 yrs I bought a jeep here. First time yielded the finance manager swearing at me cuz he gave me a discount by accident and wanted more money from me. This time, only due to post covid did they have an inventory that brought me back. This experience was: Brand new jeep was dirty as hell from greasy hand stains all over interior to dirty floor mats (at only 13 miles) to brown and white smudges all over the dash and center console) to the finance guy this time treating me like a 3rd class citizen and talking down to me because Im a woman. I also dont think they gave me the exact jeep I test drove because little tech package features are missing off the purchased jeep that I only realized when I got it home. Like a bait and switch on pick-up day. Then when I brought it in for service at 910 miles (it has sooo many glitches) I was told that Im crazy, those things aren't happening. The guy who went on a test drive with us was great! Then we went inside with everyone else and were very rude to me and my husband. Told us the truck we wanted to sell was only worth $1000 when it drives perfectly, no one even told us anything about the jeep nor said anything about negotiating. My wife's Grand Cherokee was serviced for an issue with its air suspension and the front crash sensor. They charged me $150 to look at it and could not fix the air suspension. They also charged me $300 to recalibrate the crash sensor. Since they could not fix the air suspension, I brought it to Northwest Hills Jeep, and they were able to diagnose the issue and fix it by replacing the pump, which was covered by my warranty. Just over a month after I brought the Grand Cherokee to Crowley, I was driving my wife's car and noticed the front crash sensor was out of calibration. I reached out to Crowley to see if they would take a look at it, and they wanted me to pay an additional $150 to look at it. Since they worked on it 5 weeks earlier, I feel this is very poor. I will never buy or have any of my vehicles serviced with Crowley in the future. Also, I would not recommend them. Northwest Hills Jeep was great to work with. read more

Terrible experience with crowley service department and the national customer service reps. Made an appointment to fix an issue with the electronic sliding rear window. Apparently this is an issue with the ram Trucks because the service reps reference a 'letter'. The service was performed but the problem persisted. I made a second appointment with Crowley and the service rep told me I can either live with the defective window (which i paid more for) or I could replace the entire back window however that would make it "more prone to leak". Neither of those are good options. I sent a note to the national customer service dept. A rep got back to me after a week. I felt the rep was rude, as she talked over me and seemed as if she was reading from a script. Not only will I never purchase another ram vehicle, There is absolutely no way I would bring my truck to crowley for service. read more

I'm going to start by saying that I am an Auto Damage Appraiser by trade. I am trained in all body, mechanical, steering, suspension, etc. components of cars. My 17 Grand Cherokee recently began making a clunking noise from the front suspension. Mark at Crowley reported back advising that the stabilizer bar and end links needed replacement as well as the front lower control arms. Anyone who is mechanically-inclined will confirm that any suspension component change will require an alignment to be completed after installation. Upon picking my vehicle up, I immediately noticed that the vehicle was pulling. I turned around, and dropped the vehicle back off at the dealership; the dealer agreed to perform another alignment. Fast forward to the next day. I drove the vehicle off of their lot. THERE WAS NO CHANGE. I turned back around and spoke with Mark. Mark immediately became defensive, advising that the vehicle alignment was perfect, tossing the alignment spec sheet across his desk. When I asked if he would test drive the vehicle himself, he refused, but offered to get a technician to go on a test drive with me.  I will call this technician Technician X. We were able to drive from the dealership up to Walmart; Technician X's exact words were "wow, that's way off." Technician X and I arrived back at the dealership, where I requested that he explain what he had found to Mark (in my presence so that there was no further dispute). Technician X and I went in to the service manager's office, where both Mark, and the service manager were sitting, and Technician X stated clearly "the alignment is way off." Mark advised they would take it back in and attempt to align it again. (He made no effort to hide his feelings, throwing his arms in the air and taking an agitated tone). The next day I received a text noting the car was ready. Having lost faith in their work, I took my spare key to my car before entering the dealer, and reviewed my dash camera footage. I was able to confirm that the shop did perform yet another alignment. Unfortunately, I did hear the technician saying aloud (while driving my car) "I don't know why the alignment is off." When I went to find Mark to advise that the alignment was still off, I calmly explained that I knew they completed an alignment, and I was not accusing them of not doing it. I calmly advised that it needs a slight adjustment, and proposed that it could potentially be that the alignment machine was slightly off. The responses he gave over the next minute (paired with his tone and hand/arm movements) were angry, aggressive, and down-right illogical: "Well, fine, we'll just put the specs back to what they were when you brought the car to us" (The specs wouldn't have been the same after the control arms were changed) "Well, it must be the crown in the road" (I tested the car in the middle of the road where the crown is the least noticeable, and your tech still confirmed the alignment was off). "Well, I don't know what we're going to be able to do for you. We're already eating multiple alignments. I'm going to have to see if we can even get authorization, and we'll maybe have to bring it to Monroe or Firestone, but there's nothing wrong with our alignment machine." At that point, I knew that allowing the car to stay in Crowley's / Mark's hands would not be in my best interest. I made some calls, and was able to work with my local Firestone to get the car in for an alignment immediately. Within minutes, they determined why the car was pulling; the toe angles were off significantly. While I had hoped for a quick call and reimbursement check for Firestone's alignment, I never received any word back from Mark. Living nearby, I decided to stop in and spoke with Mark in-person. These were some his responses: "Well, I don't know what you want me to do. You took the car on your own and had an alignment done (mind you, at a location which he said he was going to take it to on his own ANYWAY)" "Well, we just had our alignment machine calibrated the other day, and it was perfect" (Convenient? And he never provided documentation or proof of it) "Well, when Technician X came in, he didn't say it was off or out of alignment" (I responded asking if he remembered that I WAS THERE IN THE ROOM WHEN TECHNICIAN X SAID IT WAS OFF) "Well, he said that, but then after you left, he said otherwise." "Well, I can talk to the service manager, but I don't think he's going to pay it." Long/short: upon being reminded that their own employee (Technician X) noted the alignment was off, I received a reimbursement check for the alignment. If dealership personnel is willing to attempt to tell an informed and mechanically-savy person all of these excuses and lies, (all the while, making them appear to be the delusional ones), I can only imagine what they might do to someone who knows nothing about cars. I used to praise Crowley's service department, body shop, and staff, and would regularly refer them to clients. NO MORE! read more

Purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2021. I have no issues whatsoever with the purchase. I even bought an extended warranty with them which included a loaner when car is in for service and/or repair. When a couple things came up that needed a repair, Crowley took the car in to diagnose/fix. They couldn't get it right. When they said it was ready, I would pick it up, drive a mile, return for same issue. This went on for quite some time. I put more miles on different loaner cars than I did on the car I bought. Every time I picked the car up when they said it was fixed, it wasn't. It got to the point where I would only deal with a manager in charge of service. The problems have continued this winter season, air ride suspension faulty when it's cold and temps are lower than say 25degrees. Last year they replaced the air pump. Then it got warm. No issues. This winter, mild temps but when cold, same problem. Last month they replaced more parts that I now had to pay for because they are outside the deluxe warranty I purchased. The repair apt took a month to get because they had no loaner cars. Now we get this latest cold snap and same problem again. I call and guess what? No loaners for 3 weeks. They'll say it's repaired and since the weather will be warmer then and I won't know until next winter if what they did on the 3rd visit actually fixed the issue. Ken Crowley says he wants to know about any problems. Guess I'll have to call him or send a letter to him huh? I'm not saying you shouldn't buy from them, I'm saying the service department is horrible. They can't seem to fix the two problems I've had after multiple visits. Don't buy the warranty that they can't back up and don't fall for the, "we'll give you a loaner" line either. Oh, and when they serviced the car last year, they forgot to put on a lug nut on a front wheel and the others were loose. Guess they really don't like me. read more

Never again! The Sales Management Department contacted me 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment to inform me that the computer system went down hours ago. I understand that issues due arise, but the lack of professionalism and customer service skills are NOT acceptable. What happened to common courtesy?! I then had to contact my insurance company to extend my insurance on my current vehicle as well as re-arrange my schedule for another delivery date. The vehicle was not thoroughly detailed as promised and the psi on the tires were low. Apparently, the vehicle was not inspected prior to delivery. For these reasons I will no longer conduct business with Crowley of Bristol. I definitely DO NOT recommend this dealership! read more

Be very careful with this car dealer. I ordered a Chrysler Pacifica minivan and was told 3 months for delivery and that I could cancel and get my deposit back if it didn't arrive in that time. Do not buy a car from these clowns. Nothing but horrible experience after horrible experience here between the purchase and service visit. During the purchase we were lied to over and over again about features and warranty coverage and it wasn't until we were half way through the paperwork that the truth came out. We mistakenly still made the purchase. After about a month with the car, still on a dealer plate because their office dropped the ball, the police came and ticketed us for a stolen plate. Their own dealership had reported it stolen because they didn't realize they loaned it out and hadn't gotten us out actual plates. The car wasn't driveable without a plate but the manager John told us to come get the plates from him because it wasn't his problem, I had to call a few times to get an actual manager who finally sent the salesman out with the plate. We brought the car in for service (oil change and an issue with the doors not locking) and to have some paint touch ups done that were supposed to have been done when the car was purchased but again the dealership dropped the ball and didn't get that done prior to purchase. After the car is there for about an hour they call to tell us one of the issues is the key isn't authentic.. the key they gave us when we bought the car, the Jeep key that the Jeep dealer gave us. The solution to that issue was us buying a new key, again the dealerships mistake but they refused to take responsibility. The paint repairs were never done and the sales manager John was incredibly rude. John alone is reason to never buy from this dealer, he is a perfect example of the negative car salesmen stereotype, the snake oil salesman, the con man, the blatant liar with no morals or ethics. I called Ken Crowley directly because I remembered those commercials where he said 'Im Ken Crowley and if you're not happy I want to know about it'.. he never returned my call. I've never visited a car dealership that didn't return the deposit put down on a vehicle if the sale didn't go through. They didn't give me copies of documents signed, nor did they refund the money i put upfront for a vehicle I planned on purchasing. Their Vice President himself was completely unprofessional with me when asked how my thousand dollars were going to be held. They want to give me "store credit". I tried to get my money back & upon their refusal according to him, that's money in his pocket & I'm not seeing that money ever again. HORRIBLE !! I bought my car from Crowley and it went very smoothly no complaints, HOWEVER: I dropped it off to be serviced then went to go pick up my car only to find that I had a tire missing ! They did not care , never apologized once. They said they had no videos of the tire being stolen but admitted to having the bolts that held my tire onto my car. I got no refund for what i paid to have my car fixed, and the staff was very very sarcastic and dismissive. My tire was a new tire never been used on the back of my jeep wrangler I can understand how it may not be under their policy to give me a new tire. We pretty much try to drive our cars as long as possible, so we don't spend much time at the dealer. And when I needed a new vehicle, I dreaded having to go to the dealer. But I can honestly say that my recent purchase of a new Jeep Wrangler at Crowley was the most pleasant experience I've EVER had at a car dealership. It took about half as long as past visits to other dealers. I ordered the Jeep and it came in about 4 weeks. They did try to sell me a couple things like extended warranty and I said no thanks and we moved on - end of story. I don't have a problem with that, and because they didn't waste my time hounding me to buy more stuff for the vehicle, I'm MORE likely to come back and spend more - like when my wife and teenagers need a new ride. I wish more dealers were like this - they might make less in the short term, but in the long run they're revenue will be higher because customers who don't walk out feeling like they've been duped, are more likely to come back. All in all, Crowley will be the first place I stop the next time I need a new vehicle. read more

They have 3 service writers, only one handles oil changes, the other two had vacant customer chairs. Common sense would say that if there is a customer waiting, someone should step up and process the appt. as it turned out the 1 oil change service writer was waiting on a customer for a non oil change service issue.... I'm so confused Finally, the young lady who is the cashier, processed my appt Nice people was out in 30 minutes,, but their system is not customer friendly.They need to take a chapter out of the "H" auto groups customer service play book. Started in July with a $1,000 front and rear break job for my Chrysler. No problems there. Within 2 weeks my front driver side break was screeching and stopping rough. I immediately called to get the vehicle back into the shop to be looked at. I made 10 calls and had no returns call made back to me. I went on the website to leave messages, no one contacted me back. I had to physically show up to the service department only to have them look at me like I was crazy when I told them no one was picking up the phone or answering the contact us on the website. Appointment was made for a recheck of the break & a detail . Once there at the break appointment, I was advised that I would have to come back as they did not have the parts to fix the break. I get a reminder call about my appointment for that is not at all the appointment I made. I had to call the service office to square that back to the original appointed. I came back to have the repair done. 3 days later was the detail appointment. I drop my car off the night before so they have it first thing in the morning. I wait all day for them to call me to for when my car was ready, the call never came. By 4:30 pm I call - no one answers the phone, I have to leave a message. 10 minutes later they return the call to tell me that my car was not detailed because they were too busy and that I never had an appointment! I was livid and made it clear that the appointment was made with Mark Antonetti (I made certain to write the names down when the appointments were made), and they should not be turning this debacle back on me...The appointment was made. They of course apologized, and stated that I should call Mark Antonetti back first thing Monday morning, to let him know about my displeasure. I will not be reaching out anyone at this dealership again. If they want my business they can work for it. If I do not hear back, I am happy to go elsewhere, and repeat this story 100 times more to all those that ever consider going to this establishment. read more

It was 'Black Friday'; a lot of hype we thought, but the showroom was so crowded it was unbelievable. We were offered coffee, tea, water,etc and an apology for the wait. After another few minutes, the GM, Mark Carlone, said he'd be happy to help us out. He made us feel immediately comfortable. As we talked vehicles, he arranged a test drive. We figured he'd handed us off to a salesman; not an issue, but NOT SO. He continued with us as if we were the only customers they'd seen all day. He gave us $$ options, & We said we'd discuss it. Short version, he worked on our project throughout the weekend (on his day off) and made us satisfied Crowley customers. Beginning to end, they did EVERYTHING THEY COULD to make us Crowley customers and they succeeded. Can't go wrong!! read more

I chose Crowley because they had the car that I wanted. After spending weeks looking online for a vehicle, I decided to make the hour drive down there. I had an okay experience. I changed my mind about financing with the dealer and my salesman was not very happy with me. I could tell when he told me "now I'm getting frustrated". I don't know about you, but when I make the second biggest purchase next to buying my house, I want to be sure I'm making the correct choices. I have a 2015 Compass (not purchased at Crowley) that has had a repeated issue with its crankshaft position sensor. This was repaired last May at another shop for $199.03. My Compass engine cut out on me again on Route 6 on October 20th and I had it towed to Crowley. They told me the car had "no code" so could not diagnose a problem; but told me the spark plugs were "very worn" and could be the issue. I authorized a repair in the amount of $294.64. The mechanic noted he could not "duplicate concern". This past Thursday, my Compass would not start in my driveway and once more, I had the car towed to Crowley. This time, I was told it was the crankshaft position sensor and they charged me $907.99 - handwrote in it took five hours to replace. I am curious why this repair cost almost five times what another shop charged for the exact same repair. Then their service writer let me know that he recommended having new spark plugs installed - not even two weeks after they just replaced the parts. When I questioned him, he backtracked and stated it was recommended based on mileage and if his mechanic went to change them would have "probably" let him know the plugs were new. Something is very fishy at this dealership and I will never bring my car there again. Not only that, they can't tell me WHY this part continues to fail. This is dangerous and I have zero confidence in Jeep products and Jeep service, I am now looking for a more reliable car. All I can say is bring your car somewhere else for service. read more

Bought a new 2021 KIA Stinger on 6/24/21. Wanted the car on June 19th, had to wait for them to fix a recall. Sat on the lot for 165 days. I wonder why it wasn't already done. Picked the car up next day drive to work and it is shifting bad. Leave work same thing check engine light comes on and say transmission control issue. Call my sales rep Will Johnson. Right away they come pick up the car and take it to the service Dept. at 2:00. I call them back around 4 to find out what is going on with the car. Talk to Will again and he tells me that they don't know. I then ask what code it pull because the check engine light came on they should be able to see what is wrong with the car. He told me to wait until Saturday and he would call us to let us know what is wrong with the car. Wait until noon and call Will he then tells me that they have a call into KIA tech support to diagnose the car. At this point we ask to speak with a manager. At 2 with no response we drive to the dealership to let them know we want to speak with the manager. At that point we talk to Kalani Lopa telling him we don't want the car anymore he didn't want to listen to our concerns and got very defensive with us. We asked to speak with Mike Buccheri, Kalani said "that will never happen" and walked out of the office. At that point we were fuming and left the dealership and went home looked up Mike Buccheri # call leave a message and he called us back within 20 minutes tell us to wait until Monday to let them find out exactly what is wrong with the car and that he personally was going to see this through to the end. On Monday the service department calls and let's us know that they didn't even see the car until today Monday. Wait all day with still no answer. At 5 Mike calls and says again wait until tomorrow. Last time we heard from Mike. Tuesday we are told the car is getting a new transmission and should be ready by Monday/Tuesday next week. That Friday my husband calls to check the status. Still don't have the transmission. Saturday we left a message for Mike with no response. Monday was a holiday so I was doubtful that it would be done as they were closed. They called me Tuesday and said should be ready today/tomorrow morning. Wednesday I wait until noon and called was told maybe tomorrow that he just started working on it. Complete run around and different stories. Very upsetting that they want us to take a loss on a brand new car. I have payments due one payment already made and I don't even have a car. $40000.00 on a new car that has been in service since the 2nd day that I've had the car. They gave us a car to drive that is no where compared to the car I traded in or the one I bought. Why should I the consumer be out? read more

We had a terrible experience here! Walked into a cafeteria type atmosphere. There's a bunch of tables you sit at before speaking to a "sales manager". There were two kids watching TV extremely loud next to this area (looked like kids of someone who works there) and you couldn't even hear the person speaking next to you. Then we were brought into the sales manager office. He gave us his "bottom number" , was extremely rude and unprofessional and did not even give us a breakdown of any numbers showing us how he got to his "bottom number". We've leased and bought cars many times so we are educated enough to know what to ask. We left within 5 minutes. Ended up going to the other Jeep dealership in the area and leased same exact car for 60 dollars less a month than this guys "bottom number". read more

Told me that I must not know what I'm talking about for the oil change card that I had never gotten. When I asked for a supervisor he laughed and walked away. ZERO stars!! Awful experience with re-leasing a Jeep at the Bristol Crowley dealership. When our 2015 Jeep lease was up, we decided to go to the dealership to lease another Jeep. We did have some issues with low tire pressure, dashboard warnings showing each tire had a different tire pressure, but when I called the service department, they said bring it in and we will adjust them. During our 3 year lease we had to bring the Jeep in twice for the same reason. This was an inconvenience since I like leasing, so I don't have to spend my free time dropping off and picking up my car from the service department. Before we signed any papers we asked the salesperson and finance person to check out our 2015 Jeep and see that we were returning it in great condition. They both said "everything looks fine" "Tires a little worn, but no problem!" We have been leasing with other car dealerships for years and when you re-lease another vehicle with them, they take care of any minor issues. After only 2 months of getting our new 2018 Jeep my dashboard warning lights are showing "low tire pressure" AGAIN! I call the dealership and he says "oh it probably needs nitrogen to be added to the tires". I explained that this is really an inconvenience since we just got the Jeep and now I have to take a Saturday during the holiday season for my car to be serviced! Well...the next day, I get a letter from Jeep saying we owe $800. For "excessive tire wear and tear" from our 2015 Jeep!! We returned that Jeep under mileage and in excellent condition! I tried to call and discuss that this was not our problem...the tires on that Jeep were never right & asked them to check their service department records to see how we had to have the tires serviced several times...now the same thing is happening with this new 2018 Jeep! I brought the 2015 Jeep for the same tire issues...why should I have to pay for tires that they claim had uneven wear which I feel are due to needing NITROGEN! I NEVER had these issues with any of my other leased vehicles! We would have NEVER leased another Jeep from Crowley if I knew we would be charged over $800.00 for tires! We usually have the vehicle inspected before we return the car coming off of lease, but they told us they could give us our new lease at the same monthly price, but it had to be done by the end of the month which it was the 29th. We told them we didn't have the car inspected yet and they said "no problem" we can handle it here. After several calls the dealership said there is nothing they can do for us! Now we are stuck paying $800.00 for the 2015 returned Jeep and it looks like we will be dealing with the same issues with our 2018 Jeep! DO NOT BUY OR LEASE FROM JEEP CROWLEY IN BRISTOL...Again, I never had any other issues with other leases from other dealerships! Buyer beware! read more

Purchased my vehicle back in 2017. I have been going here for services since due to it being part of my deal with the purchase. I never had a problem until recently when my tire was reading low PSI. I asked them to check it & also rotate my tires. After a few weeks that same tire was reading low PSI again & I called to see if they in fact did check the tire & if tires were rotated. The woman said they wouldn't log it as done if it wasn't. I filled it to see if that would help but it wasn't holding. My father in law checked my tire this past weekend & saw there was a nail in the tire causing the leak. So, did y'all even check my tire? & rotate them like you said you did? I find that very odd if you ask me. I spoke with Tom recently & the guy wouldn't stop talking & allow me to say what I had to say. Some professional. I will not be going back there & I will not say anything positive about that service Dept. read more
