came in to schedule for a sale day days before for a flat and another piercing appointment. the front desk clerk didn't ask for my deposit payment and day of I had to wait and hour and a half + walk ins taken in before us even though we signed in for leyla. no check in was done with me after taking walk in after walk in but I didn't wanna be rude to rush and eventually I asked why it's taking so long after seeing leyla eating a big ass slice of pizza in the back This was another front desk clerk but they basically explained it was a misunderstanding with my payment so I really didn't mind it was just annoying as hell, but I really wanted the piercing done anyway. The person ended up recommending EMO for scheduling with more slots opened. I was hesitant, but they told me "he's good with piercings" so I was like ok bet but they were lying through their teeth. The person tells me to come at apt time and so I did. As I'm waiting Emo states "is anyone else here for emo?" As the night was pretty late and I stood up. He instantly starts w an attitude about "I've been calling you up for a while now" As he's walking me back even though the timing was right at the time of appointment??? besides his attitude, he pierced my flat with no issues. He recommended to clean 3x a day which I eventually learned isn't recommended. The biggest issue here was the quality of jewelry. I can't complain too much because it was indeed a sale, but it's just fcked up how the size of jewelry contributes to my flat getting irritated with a big bump from how tiny the jewelry is. No warning to upgrade to a different one nor did I get a selection to pick the jewelry. Eventually I went to better professionals and they educated me about the bump + what jewelry is better to flatten the bump out + proper cleaning. They taught me how I shouldn't clean it more than needed, due to the climate of living in the desert. So much more better understanding about the piercing itself and it healed in 2 days lmao (the blue jewelry in shown in photo) No professional in this shop whatsoever read more

PLEASE READ IF GETTING A PIERCING!!!!!! Absolutely do NOT get a piercing here. I had a terrible experience. The prices might rope you in because they are so cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for, if not worse. Me and my girlfriends went here on a whim one Tuesday night and there was only one guy managing both the piercings and tattoos. Since there were others in there we had to wait over an hour just to get 2 piercings. It definitely didn't help that the music was blasting and the whole shop was pretty dirty. My cousin and I both decided to get a conch and flat piercing. I would say I have quite a bit of piercing experience because I have 12 piercings, so I'm not new to the pain. When I say this was the WORST pain I've ever experienced from a piercing, I mean it. My flat hurt SO BAD! The guy took forever to get it through and I heard a pop. I have a flat in my other ear and it hurt nowhere near as bad. I was literally crying because of how much it hurt, and I have a high pain tolerance. The guy pierces both sides and uses completely different types of jewelry, gauges and bar lengths for both of my ears because they had a "limited supply". Again, i'm very familiar with the ear piercing process and I know how long the lengths of the bars should be. Additionally, for my cousins conch he gave her this huge ring- which any piercer knows- will not heal a conch correctly. He did wear gloves and use sterilized needles, but he didn't clean our piercings at all as they were bleeding, but instead just handed us a paper towel. We both walked out of there spending $80 each, and there wasn't really a tip process, which I now see was a red flag, so we didn't tip. I got these done 3 days ago and haven't gotten good sleep all three days because they both hurt so bad. I understand piercings are supposed to hurt but I have a piercing pillow and have never been in this much pain from a piercing. This morning I woke up to my conch hurting very badly. I went to my go-to piercing shop which is Good Vibrations on Silverado Ranch (love that place), and I had the lady look at it. She was shocked at how terribly these were pierced and they were both pierced at such a weird angle that they would be near impossible to heal. The bar for the conch was no where near long enough to be wearing that it took her (a professional) 10 minutes to get it out because it was so close to the skin. It hurt SO BAD. Got them both removed and now i'm down $100 bucks and I have to wait a month for them to heal before I get any more piercings. So what I say to this is F*ck you crown electric. Visiting Vegas for my wife's birthday, and as a tradition, we always stop at a budget-friendly tattoo shop--usually Koolsville--for matching tattoos. This time, I found Crown Electric on TikTok and decided to give them a try since they seemed similar. Glad we did! They had way more design options at different price points--$10, $20, $30, and up. We went earlier in the day, and the shop was empty except for the two artists working. My wife picked our design, and when she asked about adding color to our hearts, it was just an extra $10--a great deal! In total, we paid only $60 for both tattoos. The artist was super cool, talked with us the whole time, and even shared his Instagram in case we ever wanted to book larger pieces. The place had a great vibe! They also do piercings, but my wife decided to get her nose ring at Koolsville since it was $20 cheaper there. Final thoughts? If you're basing your choice on price, I'd recommend Crown Electric for tattoos and Koolsville for piercings. I recently visited Crown Electric in Las Vegas and had an incredible experience. My artist was Gabriel, who was not only super approachable, easy going, but also very gentle throughout the tattoo. The shop has an amazing selection of flash designs! it was honestly tough to pick just one so I ended up with three! Crown Electric recently reopened after a fire, and even though the sign outside still had the previous name, once inside it was clear this was Crown Electric rebuilding its original name. He took the time to get all the information he needed, was very clear and concise, and even texted me to follow up and make sure everything was set. Until I found crown electric had nothing but good comments so decided to come here (we were staying @ buffalo bills for a Concert ) so I drove 45 min to swing by .since we got there a couple minutes after they opened it was a quick and easy process . The place inside was great I like the little theme they have going on its new and different I also like how they have their personal space . Went there and got a $20 tattoo. Yes I know sometimes you get what you paid for and that's exactly what I got. Didn't realize until the next day that the tattoo was not grammatically correct so I will admit that was kind of on me but also when I went back to tell them, it wasn't correct. She told me that's what the artist wanted it to be and that she writes letters differently than I write letters I was so shocked because what do you mean for someone to read my tattoo? It has to make sense. My F it's not an F in cursive. It's a line with a loop at the end. I called and spoke to someone before I went. They said I could come in and fix. When I got there, she said I could not get it fixed I need to let it heal which is understandable but also I would I have to pay them to fix it. She was very rude even though I was being nice the whole time didn't have an attitude. All she kept saying was I'm the owner. I think I was mostly frustrated about the part that I called and talked to someone and when I got down there and was met with something completely different a rude owner that's didn't want to admit they have a tattoo on the wall that's not grammatically correct. So please be careful before you go there. They're shitty. The man that did my tattoo was pretty nice so at least that was nice. read more

I was really looking forward to get my baby's ears pierced, it's family tradition to get them done around 4 months old. I was referred to this shop. When I reached out to Layla, everything was fine at first. When I realized I would have to pay the entire thing up front for deposit, I let her know we would need some time cos we were a little tight on money. My husband ended up saying we could squeeze it in along with my vertical labret I've been wanting. When I reached out to Layla about the change, I was met with rudeness. When she said I could come in at 6 pm she didn't specify if it was a walk in or not. So I assumed that her saying "come by at 6" was an opening at 6. She then tried to educate me on how it wasn't an appointment because it was same day and that it was not an extra charge for same day, it was simply the cost. I am a lash tech and personal trainer, when someone asks if I'm available same day, if I have an opening, I give it to them. Same price. Now if they needed me to squeeze them in cos I had no openings, I'd charge extra. Layla did not communicate that I would be a walk in. I kept apologizing for my being confused because I did not want to tell her that she wasn't being clear. I was not confused. As a business owner myself, I was trying to be polite and not offend her. She also made it sound like I was being cheap because I wanted to save $20. Appt was $100 and walk in $120. In this economy? Oh you bet I want to save those $20. Babies are expensive. Anyway, she kept reiterating that I had to be deposit ready, when I already knew that. Which is why I didn't book in advance the first time, but since my husband said we could squeeze it in, I was going to pay in advance. Then her condescending "RIGHT NOW" in the last message is what did it for me. I'm glad I didn't end up going through with it because of all the other bad reviews I've seen about her. Seeing that people are saying she's racist tracks. I am Latina and my husband is black. So maybe that's why she was so rude. Who knows, but this is definitely not how you speak to customers. Arrived for a walk-in... They have a lot of books to choose from, but their books are not labeled correctly by price and is confusing. This one was $80. This is the finished, healed work. The line work is so embarrassing - some lines are so thin and some are so thick. My favorite is the penile snake to the far right that is complete with a set of balls. Layla, (piercer/owner) is so rude! I had a piercing plan for my ears since I was still in high school. I knew I was going to fill up my left earlobe. I wasn't down with that so she suggested "stacking". It's a higher piercing between 2 others. I liked that idea so I went and had her do it. Jenn suggested the conch and I told her Layla suggested that too but I wasn't down. My HUSBAND talked me into it...not Jenn! The next time (my last one) they had one of the events they do, I wanted to book online/Facebook and requested to be booked with Jenn. I wasn't down told if I wanted Jenn to pierce me, I would have to drive to the shop and pay in person. The shop is not close to where I live...at all! But, since I wanted Jenn to do another one of my piercings, I did it. **Back story: the first few times I went in, Jenn was who pierced me. It was merely by coincidence because I booked online and Layla is who scheduled it! When I walked in to get my other conch pierced by Jenn, Layla looked at me with daggers! There were other times I would go in for something and there was no one at the front. The artist who was tattooing didn't even bother to look up and acknowledge my existence. So I had to just walk around to find someone. I quit going there after Jenn left. I have no reason to support the business. This week I saw pictures of the owners son, Dresden, with "Proud Boys" and swastika flags behind him as while doing the Nazi salute. Update: I've been going to this shop for years, I used to recommend everyone when they ask about my piercings or tattoos... but that all changed when the "shop owner" Leyla blocked me on Facebook all because I asked her a simple question.
