I had to change the locks on my house recently. The owner, Russ, explained his typical charges in advance over the phone and scheduled an appointment later in the morning. The base fee, per-cylinder, and per-key charges all compare favorably with other locksmiths in the area. When he realized he was running late from a previous appointment in Yucaipa, he called to make sure the new time would still work with my schedule. When Russ arrived he promptly got to work. He noticed one of my locks had been installed upside down by the previous homeowner and gave me some tips on keeping the locks well lubricated. Within an hour he had changed all the locks and made new sets of keys, and he clearly explained and itemized all charges on the bill.
