Absolutely love taking my babies here. They get to play with other dogs, they ate not cooped up all day in a kennel, they actually get to run around and have play time in a cute little play ground full of little tikes toys. It's awesome fir the dogs to interact. They get taken care of well. I had great concerns about leaving my little girl. Kim was amazing she helped me so much. My mind my at ease. TL;DR: Negligent to dogs' needs resulting in a potentially dangerous environment combined with poor staff attitudes. I saw the great reviews and had hopes for this place. I set up an evaluation for my dog for daycare and they told me to have all the vaccine records ready for when I arrive. I think the $18 they charge for that is a cash grab, but that's ok. I called ahead of time before I pulled up and asked what the procedure was for me to bring in my dog as he has some leash aggression and I wanted to avoid a full waiting room. The lady that was there didn't answer the question and instead said rather curtly I needed to provide all the records. I explained I was told to email them when I arrived so they could print them then and have them. She said fine and just told me to ring the doorbell. When I arrived, there was a dog in one of the front windows right beside the door that was going nuts, causing my dog to get very agitated. The lady did not address this dog that's freaking out and instead opened the door to let me in. There was yet another dog in a kennel in the lobby who started barking and again started riling up my dog. Again this lady did not seem to care about all this chaos and instead handed me a clipboard and told me in a snarky manner that the email address is written down and I need to fill out all the forms front and back. Since there was no place to go inside to fill these out where my dog would not be reactive, and I couldn't go back outside to the car because the other dog is going nuts in the window, I just said it wouldn't work out and left. My issue is if they care this little about 1) my dog's anxiety during this process and 2) the other dogs that are clearly stressed and freaking out, why would I trust them with my little guy? The bad attitude of the lady that was there was just the cherry on top. First impressions are important, and this place was very disappointing, and potentially dangerous for dogs that need some extra attention. read more

We have been going here for daycare and Lucy luvs it. We are leaving her for boarding this upcoming weekend I will update on how it goes. However the daily daycare has been wonderful. I have no complaints and she is never scared to go only excited that tells me alot. The staff is very kind and I am so far very pleased. I do wish I could see her interacting with the other dogs. Previous visits were fantastic but somehow my dog was snipped behind ears while being groomed. Vet informed me he needed staples. When I informed the staff I was told it is in the contract that they are not liable and questioned me if incident occurred there. The gas was noticed when I got home. The staff ened up paying a portion of the vet bill. read more

Brought my two pups here for a long stay so I could go out of town. The staff was so kind and friendly and sweet with my dogs. I had camera access to their room, they posted videos and photos daily on Facebook and they bathed them for me before I returned. They took very good care of my dogs and I saw them smiling and having a great time and it made me at ease while away. The only issue I had was I was not told initially that the temperament test they require for first time dogs was a 4 hour test and a total of $30, so those were to unexpected surprises last minute but nothing that would deter me from coming back. Called this business to inquire about dog boarding. They mentioned all the requirements and one is my dog has to be spayed/neutered if they are over six months and they will not take him in if he isn't. Spaying and neutering a dog before they reach maturity is very harmful for a dog. An quick google search will tell you all the side effects that can happen. "Although spay/neuter is an important part of effective population control programs, and may benefit individual dogs and cats if performed at the appropriate time, whether and when to spay/neuter specific animals requires the application of science and professional judgment to ensure the best outcome for veterinary patients and their owners. Prevention of unexpected litters; reduced incidences of some cancers and reproductive diseases; and prevention and amelioration of certain undesirable behaviors have been documented as benefits to spaying/neutering dogs and cats. However, potential health problems associated with spaying and neutering have also been identified, including an increased risk of prostatic cancer in males; increased risks of bone cancer and hip dysplasia in large-breed dogs associated with sterilization before maturity; and increased incidences of obesity, diabetes, urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, and hypothyroidism." I had a conversation with my dad about how the Pampered Pooch Pet Hotel handled our sweet old lady Lily. She's a bulldog and has very poor eye sight at her age. She has medicines to take and she needs her little face folds cleaned so she doesn't get an infection. The staff here took SUCH good care of her. She really did get pampered! Dogs boarded get baths every four days I believe. It is a service charge but so worth it. They do temperament tests for all of their doggy residents so you know your fur baby is going to be safe and happy staying here. Our family likes to travel, and for our most recent trip, we decided to try out The Pampered Pooch Pet Hotel for our beagle, K.C. What a great place! K.C. Had so much fun! She got to play with other dogs so we felt relieved knowing she wasn't lonely. We also got her a massage and a grooming treatment. It was much more affordable than I expected as well. I bet K.C. The best place, no the only place you should take your pets in the Antelope Valley. The staff is awesome and always make you feel welcome. My Max loves going, and I'm able to leave him without a worry!!! Clean at all times, and oh yes AC and your pet is indoors. Your pet won't be in a kennel as if they were in a shelter. If you have seen the dirty places in the AV that cost $14... you would have to be crazy to take your best friend to any of those. Very disappointed with this business. We have been taking our dog to be groomed here for 7 years. Today my family took her in to find not one employee wearing a face mask. They have so many elderly clients (including my family) and I am appalled to hear this from my Grandma today. She was terrified and said they did not seem to care. We LOVE using the pampered pooch pet hotel to watch our 9 month old Tibetan spaniel terrier mix puppy! She always tries to run through the door the second we get there and really enjoys playing with the other dogs and interacting with the staff! The staff is so friendly and always remembers our puppy when we bring her in, we are way more comfortable leaving her there on an extended weekend then we are leaving her in the care of someone else. I take my dog Brewski here all the time and I couldn't be happier. The staff is so friendly and they greet Brewski every time we go there with a big smile. They take really good care of all the pets there and keep the place very clean. There prices are decent, and I know when I drop off my dog that he's going to be well cared for. Every time I pick him up they tell me how he behaved and let us know how his stay was. I trust the staff 100% and I don't think I'll take my dog anywhere else! read more

Fantastic grooming services! My Labrador came home looking like a million bucks and smelling wonderful! Their prices are more than reasonable. I also took my 115lb Doberman in to get his nails trimmed and ears cleaned. It was his first time at the groomers and he was terrified, but the staff was so kind and patient with him. I'm so happy Palmdale now has a great pup hotel! I inquired about a day stay for my French bulldog puppy and got an immediate response! I went in the day before to take a look around and for them to meet my puppy and see how he likes it. They gave him a quick temperament test and allowed me to see how he great he loves the place! The next day I left him there for about 8 hours and I can't rave enough about how friendly the staff is and how well they took care of my puppy. The staff here is great! They are very caring & truly love dogs! I recently adopted a Lab & German shepherd not knowing their temperament. The trainer Sarah immediately knew what to do & how to give them the most positive experience during their stay. They have now stayed at the Hotel twice & it has really helped them develop! I never like to leave my dogs behind and could never imagine leaving them at a kennel so I was very happy to see that the environment at the Hotel is very positive & doesn't feel at all like a kennel at all!
