He sent me a check to reimburse me for a portion of the labor that it would've cost to install the replacement part under warranty. They only reimbursed me for 1 hour of labor when they originally charged me 1.5 hours to install it. Since they sent me the check and admitted they made a mistake I am updating my review to 3 stars but I still would not trust this Garage in the future and I will not be going back to them. After seeing all the excellent reviews of this place I thought I'd give them a try when I needed my rear drivers side window regulator replaced in June 2022. I am very sorry I did. The service I received definitely didn't live up to the reviews. The first thing that happened was when they called to tell me the window was done they told me my front drivers side window regulator was broke now. I told them to just leave that one go and I would fix that one myself because I couldn't afford to have them fix both at the moment. For the drivers side rear one they charged $165 for the part (which only cost about $100 in the store) and $135 for labor for a total of $318 just to fix the one window. I don't consider that reasonable like all the reviews say. The shop I normally go to told me they would do it for about $100 less when I called to get a quote to get the newly broken front drivers side window regulator. I told Lauger's I wanted my old broken window regulator back because it had a lifetime warranty and I wanted to exchange it at the store where I bought it to have a spare. Lauger's LIED and told me they put the old part in my car. They kept it and I'm sure they returned it to NAPA and got more money back from it since it was a NAPA part! 16 Months after Lauger's replaced the rear window regulator it broke and the window was stuck down. Since Lauger's is a NAPA Auto Care Center I called them to have them replace it under the NAPA 24 Month/ 24,000 Mile Parts and Labor Guarantee. Lauger's LIED again and told me the part is covered 2 years but labor is only 1 year. I called NAPA Corporate and confirmed that the part and the labor should both be covered for 2 years at Lauger's and they didn't understand why they would tell me only 1 year labor. I honestly don't want Lauger's anywhere near my vehicles after this because I don't trust what they might do so I accepted their offer and picked up the new window regulator from them and installed it myself. When I took the broken window regulator out I noticed that it didn't even match the part # that Lauger's said they installed on my bill! This is outright fraud! I think they must have installed a cheaper part than the part # they charged me for on the bill which is why they refuse to honor the warranty. Don't make the same mistake I did by believing the glowing reviews this place gets because it's definitely not true. I learned an expensive lesson by putting my trust in them and will definitely not be going back and will also be telling everyone I know to stay far away from this place.

Well, sometimes you need your car checked out and there isn't time to get to the grandparents. I called Hershey Auto and they could get me in within the week! All the correspondence I've had with them has been informative and best of all: kind. Don explained what I needed done and didn't try to add anything. They have early drop off available, so I could leave my car the night before and fill out a form/envelope and slide it in the bay safely. My car was ready before I was even done with work the next day. Their transparency gave so much peace of mind. Now for the best part: the price! I was expecting to pay three times what I was charged here. I can truly say they treated me like a grandkid and took great care of me! Highly recommend and can't thank them enough.

Our latest issue involved needing an emergency PA State Inspection for one of our kids living out of state. Don was backed up but worked him in. While that was ongoing, my husband and I had car trouble in New York state. We had the car towed to Hershey Auto, and despite being backed up, he ran diagnostics and solved the problem. Cannot speak highly enough of Don, Robert, and Hershey Auto.

I should think with a business you hv n bad employees that don't know what they're doing ,he wouldn't have a job any longer. Joe Mays Towing came to my home in the middle of the night and towed my car from the parking lot…read morewithout cause. I've parked in the same spot every single day for the past two years with no issues. I got home from work around 8 PM, parked as usual, and when I went outside at 8 AM to leave for work, my car was gone. They towed my vehicle 10 miles away and then charged me $300 to get my own car back. The person who claimed to be the manager was extremely rude during the entire interaction. He told me my car was towed because my permit "wasn't shown," even though it absolutely was. He also admitted they towed another car because the permit was "hidden," which tells me they are not even properly checking for permits before towing people's vehicles. When I questioned their pricing, he said that if I needed a tow from the side of the road it would be a "different rate," but refused to tell me what that rate even is. Completely sketchy and suspicious behavior. The fact that they can't or won't provide the standard roadside tow rate raises more concerns about the legitimacy of the $300 charge. I also asked for an itemized receipt and proof that my permit supposedly "wasn't there," and they refused to provide either. That alone says everything about how they operate. This was completely unnecessary, stressful, and expensive--especially when my permit was visible the whole time. Their behavior shows a lack of care, professionalism, and accuracy when towing from residential areas.
