I was given a quote and I was light on the funds but Jerry worked with me and adjusted his price came out and swapped my alternator. Quickly mapped to nearest tire shop open Sunday morning. Directed to Mavis. Arrived to be greeted by several surly mechanics desperately in need of Customer Service Training. Even though just one car on a lift and 7 open bays, was told it would be about a 60 to 90 minute wait. " But it's only a nail, in the tire, it just needs a plug". Didn't matter. Frustrated , I checked Google, nearest Tire and Auto Repair was Jack Williams - and it was just across the street. Called the Number and was connected immediately to Bryce. Told him the sad story and he said bring it right over. We have a few people ahead of you, but if it's only the tire we can have a look right away. Tire pressure going down more quickly now, we drive across the street. Bryce took the keys, handed them to Dillon- who put the car on the lift right away. Twenty Minutes Later we were back on the road. Nothing but a Great Experience. He sent me a check to reimburse me for a portion of the labor that it would've cost to install the replacement part under warranty. They only reimbursed me for 1 hour of labor when they originally charged me 1.5 hours to install it. Since they sent me the check and admitted they made a mistake I am updating my review to 3 stars but I still would not trust this Garage in the future and I will not be going back to them. After seeing all the excellent reviews of this place I thought I'd give them a try when I needed my rear drivers side window regulator replaced in June 2022. I am very sorry I did. The service I received definitely didn't live up to the reviews. The first thing that happened was when they called to tell me the window was done they told me my front drivers side window regulator was broke now. I told them to just leave that one go and I would fix that one myself because I couldn't afford to have them fix both at the moment. For the drivers side rear one they charged $165 for the part (which only cost about $100 in the store) and $135 for labor for a total of $318 just to fix the one window. I don't consider that reasonable like all the reviews say. The shop I normally go to told me they would do it for about $100 less when I called to get a quote to get the newly broken front drivers side window regulator. I told Lauger's I wanted my old broken window regulator back because it had a lifetime warranty and I wanted to exchange it at the store where I bought it to have a spare. Lauger's LIED and told me they put the old part in my car. They kept it and I'm sure they returned it to NAPA and got more money back from it since it was a NAPA part! 16 Months after Lauger's replaced the rear window regulator it broke and the window was stuck down. Since Lauger's is a NAPA Auto Care Center I called them to have them replace it under the NAPA 24 Month/ 24,000 Mile Parts and Labor Guarantee. Lauger's LIED again and told me the part is covered 2 years but labor is only 1 year. I called NAPA Corporate and confirmed that the part and the labor should both be covered for 2 years at Lauger's and they didn't understand why they would tell me only 1 year labor. I honestly don't want Lauger's anywhere near my vehicles after this because I don't trust what they might do so I accepted their offer and picked up the new window regulator from them and installed it myself. When I took the broken window regulator out I noticed that it didn't even match the part # that Lauger's said they installed on my bill! This is outright fraud! I think they must have installed a cheaper part than the part # they charged me for on the bill which is why they refuse to honor the warranty. Don't make the same mistake I did by believing the glowing reviews this place gets because it's definitely not true. I learned an expensive lesson by putting my trust in them and will definitely not be going back and will also be telling everyone I know to stay far away from this place.

I had to have my car that was running when I brought it in towed because they f'd up my engine - just for spark plugs & an air filter - both put in wrong! It made my engine overheat to the point it warped several things & now burns oil like crazy, which happened immediately after their "work" on it. Cost me about $3000 cuz they got oil and gas mixed together in my engine & - didn't put the plugs in all the way or tighten them. Tried to sell me a coil pack AS MY CAR that had been running was THEN being towed to the dealership because it wouldn't run at all! The manager told me his guys couldn't have possibly done anything wrong & supposedly watched a video of them doing the work...Why was my car running properly when it came in & then not running & having to be towed to the dealership, which told me the plugs weren't in all the way or hooked up right & that the air filter was in wrong? The Mavis manager then said my dealership was lying to me to get more money out of me! Mavis blamed me for the spark plugs not being what they would recommend & then they blamed my car, Chevy Cruze, which is a very popular car to work on!!! The manager put blame on everybody but the mechanic that did the work! Then, he wrote out a FAKE voucher for $850 towards the $3000 the dealership charged to get all the gas & oil separated in my engine & put a 4th set of spark plugs in! The voucher wasn't able to be honored or found in Mavis Palmyra PA system & after Palmyra manager supposedly had a chat with Middletown PA manager, I received literally Nothing back & they gave me a Free oil change before talking to the other Ahole manager. I refuse to go into either one of them or any other Mavis shops again, because I'm more afraid of being hauled off by the cops than I am of them. Oh, the tow truck driver told me he hauled MANY cars from MAVIS in Middletown because they f'd up the people's cars! So, I wanna know WHY these people have such a high review rating, unless they are also FAKING their reviews?!? These people need shut down!!!
