Stopped here once. Expensive for fast food but great service. Order in only. Items are ordered individually. Tots cost more than fries. Shakes looked interesting with lots of different ice cream flavors.

I've read some of the 1 star reviews and I agree that the wait time is ridiculous, in fact the first time we hit the drive-thru we left. We attempted a couple days later and decided to wait. We order two milk shakes and the wait seemed to be about 15-20 minutes because there was a vehicle in front of us. I think if they had one more person working on food and drinks to help out the person in the window maybe that would bring people back. Our shake was absolutely delicious and the girl at the window was polite and sweet. We will be back but will remember to bring our patience. I would love to see this place serve customers quicker but maybe it's not feasible for the owners to pay for another employee. Regardless, if you want a delicious shake don't hesitate to visit the Crows Nest, just bring your patience and you will be very happy.

A guy pulled in front of The Crow's in a Chevelle that looked like it drove straight out of a museum so figured I should share.

Good food, good portions, and a pretty standard wait time. Would highly recommend caving in and getting a malt. I'm only giving it 4 stars though, as one time when I went I used the drive thru. Despite there only being 2 cars in front of me, this visit had me waiting in line for a touch over half an hour. This was in the middle of the day in a car with no A/C so I got a little bit of onset heatstroke, but it was worth it.

The service was fantastic, everything was clean, and the food was good. I got a fish sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was only fish, lettuce, and mayo on a bun. It was good, but nothing super noteworthy. The onion rings were much better and I would order them again if I returned. Very crispy and light! My friend got the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and hash brown. He said the food was similar to McDonald's but "fresh and actually good... actually it was way better than McDonald's". I was really impressed with how clean the bathroom was and how great it smelled! There is a pac man arcade game inside, so bring quarters to play! Good place to stop if you're driving through, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

The place was full but someone was leaving just as we arrived, so had a place to sit away from the cluttered area. One cook and one waitress, so food will not come out fast. I ordered a simple ham and cheese omelet and wife ordered an egg, bacon and pancake. The cook did walk over after we'd been sitting for a bit and let us know the hash browns were going to take another 10 minutes. Really appreciate the communication. However it took another 30 minutes beyond that to get our food. If you don't have an hour to wait for a simple order, best to avoid this place. The pancake arrived first. It's huge! Fills the whole plate but it was a little raw in the middle. I thought it tasted fine but wife wasn't impressed. The omelet was totally loaded with ham, and tasty. The hash browns were super crunchy, which isn't my favorite, so most of it went uneaten. Overall, the quality of the food wasn't worth the wait.

A couple of tables in a darkened extra room with full and empty boxes. The tables in the main diner were okay but the seats were horrible. There is nothing I hate worse than sitting to eat and the seats cause my chin to rest on the table. It was so awkward. The diner ceiling... I have no words. And there was grime, dirt, old food, etc just caked everywhere. I am not sure I would go back unless it was food to go.

Took my BFF out for her birthday to Lemon Hill Restaurant next door to my apt. We didn't have…read morereservations, but just walked in; and the Chef said yes to our unplanned late last table arrival. It was either a two-course or a three-course meal $29 +$47 respectively. We did 3 each starting with homemade pimento cheese with celery sticks, sweet peppers sliced, and crustini. I'm not a big fan of the jarred commercial pimento cheese. This was extremely good. Tasting the peppers inside the cheese ball that you choose how and where to spread it. B+ maybe even A- for the flavor of the cheese and presentation. 2nd Course of shrimp etouffee. It was okay but too thin of a sauce due to a not dark enough roux. Flavors are spot on, shrimp are tender and delicious. A- for the effort to take on roux dishes. 3rd Course was a delicate hazelnut chocolate mousse in a champagne fluted crystal glass. Topped with a light whipped cream to find the dessert level. It had multiple layers of flavor in different areas of the mouth and nasopharynx. A+ for presentation and depth of flavor in a chocolate pudding! Cup of coffee to end the meal, so really 4 courses. The bookstore surrounds the entire restaurant. Very unique experience. Get reservations or try your luck with the Chef near 6:15 pm for a late exception allowed to slip in. Monthly menu then changed up, only work dinner shift on Fridays. Rest is lunch for Courthouse folk. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Overall Score A PS. There were other choices but I didn't try them so, another review for the future... Usually I photograph the food and menu, glucose meter said low so we ate in haste to also not keep entire restaurant open for just us, which we did anyways. And, chef and waitress were great at conversing while closing. PPS. I lived in NOLA next-door to Tulane University and two houses from St Charles Streetcar for 3 years, and have been chef of restaurants in past. Roux Cajun style is an artwork I love and understand

The turkey and spinach crepinettes were flavorful and the housemade cranberry mustard was the perfect accompaniment. The French potato salad and haricot vert were nice sides. I had the chicken sandwich with lemon pepper mayo and cauliflower soup. The mayo really brightened the sandwich. There was a generous amount of roast chicken and the bread was chewy and tasty. And then there's the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. Sigh
