We visited on a Saturday night and can say it's one of the better places we ate in Keystone. The staff is 5/5 stars--very friendly and helpful. We got the buffalo chicken pizza, a caesar salad and cheese pizza. It is pan pizza so the bottom and sides get crispy and there's not a traditional crust around the edge. The salad was basic but fresh and a good accompaniment to the pizza. The pizza came out pretty quick and was hot and fresh. I don't think the buffalo chicken pizza needed the sausage on it and could have used some blue cheese or a drizzle of ranch or something, but that's honestly personal preference (my husband had no complaints). We wanted a little snack while adventuring the town and picking up geocaches. We had our senior pup with us so needed an outside table. There were several, but we had to hover about to grab one when diners left. The establishment is upstairs and has a lot of foot traffic. They packed our food nicely and put all condiments, napkins, and utensils, which is greatly appreciated when you are passing by and have a long drive ahead. We absolutely love Cruizzers! Every time we come to Mount Rushmore we stop here for dinner on the way out. They have amazing pizza! It's in my top 5 for favorite pizza. They also have an amazing ranch dressing. We also always get wings here and they are always pretty amazing. We got half and half for the first time and my BBQ half was barely covered. I did not have high hopes at first because I noticed keystone has quite a few pizza options & small mountain towns tend to lack quality restaurants IMO. But, we were very impressed! The owners were so friendly & really took the time to help us choose our meals. They made sure we enjoyed everything & chatted with us for a bit. The pizza, salad & cheese sticks were very tasty. The veggie toppings were fresh vs canned which I appreciate. And they get bonus points for making their own ranch! They had plenty of beer choices & a limited local wine selection, but they have a cab sav so I was happy. The vibe is cool & the restaurant is clean. I'm not sure if we will make it back through SD again, but if so, I would visit Cruizzers again in a heartbeat! read more

The gentleman running the place was super friendly and spent time describing the selections with us. We came near the end of April and we didn't have many choices in this small area of Keystone as most things were still closed for the season. I don't know who is writing these wonderful reviews, bots? Employees? This is about as bad of pizza as I've had anywhere. The crust is like non-livened bread, not like dough all. The cheese is clearly rubbery cheap cheese with no flavor. Tony's frozen pizza is far better. Also got a "calzone" that had no Ricotta cheese, almost no filling and the worst "dough" you can imagine, tasted like yeast but was flat and thin. Just terrible honestly.
