Interesting spot. Different from a typical brewery. My wife and I started with tasting a flight of five beers, while our daughter tasted five wines at the counter. We each found one we liked, so we settled at our table for a bit. Of the five beers we tasted, my wife and I each liked one and didn't care for the rest. We were camping nearby and looking for a place to drink and have a bite that had character and some sort of uniqueness, we found it at sick and twisted brewery. We swung by for lunch and was immediately greeted with the warm smile and a cold beer offering. The selection was broad and deep and possessed a good selection in my category, IPA. After a few, I decided to go the hop on top IPA, was fresh and cold a bit hoppy but hit the spot. We decided to get something to eat and the pizza came highly recommended so we opted for one of those and was not disappointed. So for character uniqueness a cold beer, decent food. We stopped here based on the eclectic name and look of the brewery. We were not disappointed as the beer was good. The beers had an interesting taste that was as a refreshing change from the norm. We did have the Mexican corn dip and it was good but a bit pricey for what you got. I enjoyed the Humpin Pumkin beer and also really enjoyed the Naughty Redhead which was on nitro and very good! I would recommend this brewery over the firehouse right up the street. The only negative is that they really need to dust all the decorations throughout the brewery building. read more

I had a flight the sour was probably the best but nothing had a full flavor from start to finish. I also did a red wine tasting. Again had high hopes but the wines did not meet the enticing names. If you're looking for a place to chill and want to grab a bite to eat DO NOT STOP HERE. we ordered the charcuterie board for $29. It was store bought cubes of cheese... like what you buy at a gas station with sliced pepperoni and salami... again probably purchased from the gas station down the road. The grapes were wilted almost between old grapes and raisins and the olives were tiny... pretty sure also purchased from the gas station. Total waste of money. The pretzel bites were decent for the price, the quesadilla chips were probably the best thing on the menu, the stuffed pretzel was totally over priced and Ho-hum. The service on the beer side of the restaurant was also not very memorable. I asked for a suggestion and rather than provide details, I was told a beer name and then the bartender walked away. When our food came out we didn't have any napkins. So we walked up and asked for napkins. We were given 2 because SHE "had already brought out napkins"... but we only had throw away plates... no napkins. I ventured over to the wine tasting and that wine-tender was super friendly and able to juggle the many questions that were thrown at her. Improvement on service but not in quality of product. I guess moral of this story is find somewhere else to eat and get your drink on. read more

This is a brewery/winery and it does have a fun atmosphere, which is perfect for families and friends. The beer and wine was great and lots of good flavors from the region. The bar seating could be better, table are small and felt like there were going to break any minute. The chairs were very uncomfortable, which maybe is by design, don't stay long, taste some drinks and go. The food was better than expected, definitely get the pretzel and be prepared to be amazed. So why the 3 star rating you ask?? It was the FLIES!! Our table had nothing short of 10+, so much that we asked for extra napkins to cover our food. I get having one or two every so often, but this was too much. Even my kiddos were bother by them. As we walked around before we sat, we noticed the flies in the store area too. Beer is just ok. I'd put it on par with the kits one can get from Northern Brewer or Midwest Supplies. Weak in flavor, for the most part under carbonated. Egg rolls felt like it came from the frozen aisles of Sam's Club. Pizza was likely frozen from some food delivery service. Chicken wings were truly, meh. Basically they doused them in Montreal steak seasoning and gave you a choice of ranch cups or bbq sauce. Service could have been better. They were trying but were under staffed and the bar tender was setup to fail having to walk to the other side of the building to fill a flight of beers. read more

They get my 5 stars for many reasons. First of all the name is just sick and twisted. Then the ambiance is awesome. This place is incredibly decorated. Inside, outside and patio and bars. We did the wine tasting and the reserve tasting. You have to try it. All the wine was excellent it was hard to decide what to take home. Not a bad joint for beer. It amazes me how many breweries are so close to each other. This one is unique for its indoor and outdoor seating. I saw a gentleman outside just smoking away on a cigar, of which I was jealous. It has a unique ambiance that says biker joint.... but then they have the winery that advertises itself as most of a sassy mom place. Both interesting, both enjoyable. I was taking one can to go and asked the waitress what they had. She said there was a Mexican lager on tap I would probably like and I thought that would be fun. Problem is I never got the name or any other information on it. It's also not listed on the website. So either she mislabeled this beer when talking to me, or their website is not up to date. It's a little disappointing, but maybe I'll play a game of "what's in my mouth" and try to figure out what beer style it is. read more

Saw the signs for this place the first time I drove up to Mt. Rushmore; I was drawn because of the name and logo so I knew next time up in South Dakota I had to check it out. It is a really cool place that offers both beers on tap that are brewed right there but also a great wine selection. There are flight options for both which is a great way to try any brewery!!! I got a flight of 5 for $8 and a meat/cheese tray - perfect for a late afternoon outing. The atmosphere is awesome, very laid back and kid friendly which is really cool. Great outdoor seating areas and lots of options for everyone. Not a huge menu but less is often better when dealing with local stuff! Will be back next time I am in the area. read more

Bartender was an angel and so nice but we wanted to try the infamous hard ginger beer and they were out which disappointed us because it was heavily advertised online and on street signs that they were known for that. Probably one of the best breweries I have been to accross the US. The selection was amazing, from your common ipa and porter to the unique mule that actual tastes like a Moscow mule but is actually beer! That one was my favorite. The flight of beer was a great deal and allowed us to try alot of their great beers. We ended up going home with a crowler of the mule which I'm excited to open up soon!! When we walked up to the first counter the gentleman pointed us toward the other room and said the lady would help us there. We walked to that counter, waited 5 minutes but no one came. Walked back to the other counter, watched the gentleman help a new couple and informed him no one was available. He said, "no, she will help you, she will be right there." We ordered a pizza and it was ok. A little under cooked with basic flavors. The big pretzel was huge and good. Ask for more beer cheese because you run out fast! The wine that I tried was 'Cougar'. Nothing special. The bar tender really didn't have any suggestions or knowledge about the wine and didn't care what I got. She was more concerned about her crop top, leggings and lipstick, which I found to be a turn off. There is not table service-just order at the bar.
