It's a very eclectic atmophere with a very non- traditional tasting experience where you tell the server what tastes you like and she pours you samples until you hit the jackpot. For me, it was the blackberry wine - light and refreshing for a summer afternoon. They are very helpful staff and there's no shortage of things to look at when you're inside!

Wine tastings were awesome. Beer tastings were good too. Super cool place, worth checking out. Nicole made the experience even cooler! Great conversation and service.

Cheese board for $29. Way too much for what you get.

The atmosphere of this place has so much potential. But that's where the hopes end. Beer was okay really sub par. I had a flight the sour was probably the best but nothing had a full flavor from start to finish. I also did a red wine tasting. Again had high hopes but the wines did not meet the enticing names. If you're looking for a place to chill and want to grab a bite to eat DO NOT STOP HERE. we ordered the charcuterie board for $29. It was store bought cubes of cheese... like what you buy at a gas station with sliced pepperoni and salami... again probably purchased from the gas station down the road. The grapes were wilted almost between old grapes and raisins and the olives were tiny... pretty sure also purchased from the gas station. Total waste of money. The pretzel bites were decent for the price, the quesadilla chips were probably the best thing on the menu, the stuffed pretzel was totally over priced and Ho-hum. The service on the beer side of the restaurant was also not very memorable. I asked for a suggestion and rather than provide details, I was told a beer name and then the bartender walked away. When our food came out we didn't have any napkins. So we walked up and asked for napkins. We were given 2 because SHE "had already brought out napkins"... but we only had throw away plates... no napkins. I ventured over to the wine tasting and that wine-tender was super friendly and able to juggle the many questions that were thrown at her. Improvement on service but not in quality of product. I guess moral of this story is find somewhere else to eat and get your drink on.

Man, I really wanted this to be good. Great logo, no Merch in Xl? Who do you think drinks beer? But the beer was soooo average. Really bummed, wanted it to be good. Great looking brewery and set up though. Pizza looked great, didn't try it.

I found this place passing through the Black Hills in South Dakota. I would love to work with these guys. All of the beers and wines have funny or naughty names. I bought a bottle of white wine called foreplay for my friend back home and had them pour me a pint. The beer was great and the customer service was good! Support small creative business!

Don't bother if you're looking for pizza and wings. Food was ok..... but the service, the service was something else... TERRIBLE! I don't recommend for a restaurant. Probably a great watering hole.

This is a brewery/winery and it does have a fun atmosphere, which is perfect for families and friends. The beer and wine was great and lots of good flavors from the region. The bar seating could be better, table are small and felt like there were going to break any minute. The chairs were very uncomfortable, which maybe is by design, don't stay long, taste some drinks and go. The food was better than expected, definitely get the pretzel and be prepared to be amazed. So why the 3 star rating you ask?? It was the FLIES!! Our table had nothing short of 10+, so much that we asked for extra napkins to cover our food. I get having one or two every so often, but this was too much. Even my kiddos were bother by them. As we walked around before we sat, we noticed the flies in the store area too. Didn't think that would be the case in the dining area too. Hopefully they find a way to remedy that, because if they do it would be a 4+ star restaurant

If you're looking for subpar service you've come to the right place! Been here twice, once just to check it out, left because of the lines. Watched them struggle in the weeds both times. Wine in one room, beer in the other, need a better system. Beer was decent, pizza was okay. Staff was friendly but not very efficient.

The Supreme Pizza was great and huge. Enjoyed the beer and wine flights. The pizza chef was also very kind. Tip for the owner - the dusty, fake plants and flower garlands need to be tossed in the trash ! An update of new paint and decor inside the eating area would really make this place better and far more appealing. Looks like they have recently updated some of the outdoor seating and it' looks great.

The beers just aren't good. Flat, bitter, sour and not in a good way. They also didn't fill all the glasses all the way.

It was already completely filled in the bar with wait times until 6:30pm at that point. Come early or reserve if you have a big group! There are two dinner options for adults - bacon wrapped steak and a German noodles dish. The bacon wrapped steak was great and also came with a wedge salad. The prices were incredible at about $20 per entree. It does have a strong bacon flavor so you have to be sure to enjoy that flavor. There was a hotdog option for kids and a vegetarian menu. The dessert menu was extension with more than 10 items. I had the napoleon and it was light, airy, and flaky. Everyone was happy with their desserts and the price was around $7 per item. Overall, it was a fun experience with decent food in this small town. I would come back and I recommend you try it!

Or just come when you want and hope to get in with only an hour wait. Regardless of some of the advertising there is nothing German about the place except the name. I'm from Chicago where we have a long history of real German food. But nobody comes for that anyway because the menu had like 3 things. 2 sizes of filet mignon which they promote being the cheapest which they are or pasta primavera which was a huge serving and looked decent. Should've opted for the larger one but as we age we just aren't eating that much. The meat was dry and overcooked, Easily the worst filet mignon either of us has ever had. The waitress was not rude though not welcoming or friendly but mostly just slow, both mentally and physically. Something about the area in general is they don't offer much if anything in the way of vegetables with meals. A problem for some health issues. Here we saw a couple order the pasta with 2 steaks and picked the veggies out of it. On the whole a very disappointing experience to end an otherwise wonderful trip.

Starter and food, drinks, etc., are brought promptly to the table. This is exceptional in a highly popular tourist area. The food is good but could use a little improvement--the grilled mahi-mahi was good, but a little on the dry sauce and definitely needed a sauce. A couple of the dishes did have sauces, but fish is why most Creole restaurants like Brennan's will serve a sauce on the side, or a topping with butter such as Trout Almandine. It doesn't have to be a fancy sauce--the option of good ol' tartar sauce works. The grilled vegetables also needed a little more butter and seasoning. Carrots are good on their own; broccoli and cauliflower need a little cheese or butter and some seasoning to be loved. The IPA (Long John) was excellent. The beer cheese dip and soft pretzels were to die for; the chardonnay was passable. A great choice for dining in a VERY heavily traveled tourist destination. Get there early--it starts filling up fast and all the restaurants around Mount Rushmore close at 9.
