I went in, talked to the employees, asked which pies were shelf stable and could survive a trip to Austin, and after being told which, I promised I'd come back after dinner. When I came back, they were out of the apple, so I bought a pumpkin pie, or as it's known on the menu, Drop Dead Gourdgeous, which, as a person who loves word play, already gives this place a 5/5. The employees were so incredibly helpful and kind, and being able to come here and get something for my friends in Austin made this worth transporting everything from Dallas to Austin worth it. I don't know if they do, but I really hope they deliver frozen pies, because even in California, they would have a customer for life out here because of their hospitality and amazing customer service. The place wasn't too loud since they were in the last 90 minutes or so of business hours, but it was great because I got to ask them all of the questions I needed. If they don't deliver frozen pies, then I will definitely find my way back here one day.

The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in.
