01/22/26 My daughter and I wanted a sweet treat. Had to do a coin toss. Heads, ice cream. Tails, cookies. Tails won and the first place we thought of was Crumbl. She looked up the menu online to see the weekly flavors and we picked the Dubai chocolate cookie which is chilled and the Brownie batter cookie which was warm. They have self order kiosks. We received our order in less than 5 minutes. The workers were fast and efficient. It was a 15 minute drive home and so hard not to eat the cookies in the car lol We wanted to be comfy at home to enjoy the huge cookies. Got home, poured glasses of milk and took a bite of each cookie. OH.MY.WORD. Both cookies were amazing!! I don't know what else to say other than you need to try it for yourself. This was my first visit to Crumbl, and unfortunately it will likely be my last. My children and I watched an employee prepare another customer's order. While wearing the same gloves, she touched the iPad screen and the door before returning to food preparation. When it was time to prepare my order, I politely asked if she could change her gloves before handling my food. Instead of simply changing her gloves, she argued with me about whether she had touched the door or the iPad. Regardless, as a customer, I was uncomfortable with the situation and felt my request was reasonable. She stated that she was allowed to touch the door and then continue handling cookies, which raised concerns for me about food-handling practices. The interaction became even more upsetting when she told me that I "always act like this" and claimed that I regularly come into the store behaving this way. This was my very first visit to this location, so that statement was completely false. What disappointed me most was not just the glove issue, but the employee's attitude and unwillingness to address a customer concern respectfully. Customer Service started out bad, and never got better. No one greeted us the entire time we were in the store, nor did they greet the other customers. Two young men working on a Saturday night at 8:15pm. On 3/28. A young lady with Jean shorts and a red top entered the store, went behind the counter and talked to one of the employees, then went and washer hands, came back, grabbed a box of cookies and left the store. Had to use the Kiosk to order because no one acknowledged me being in the store. Ordered a four pack of cookies. A few minutes later, they called my name and I exited the shop. I've been meaning to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity to. The place is pristine and the staff is friendly. They have a variety of creative flavors. I ordered a strawberry cookie. Strawberry Cookie- The cookie base is buttery but it is also rather dry which I wasn't a fan of. The frosting was on the sweet side and it became too much with the cookie. I'm not sure if it was the frosting to cookie proportion but it just didn't work for me. It's been a minute since I've visited Crumbl but came in for their recent free cookie promotion! I tried the cookie thins (which was a collab with Martha Stewart) and I was IMPRESSED. I'm not usually the biggest fan of thinner cookies, but these were delicious--the texture and the flavor were *chefs kiss*. The cookies were also fresh and warm when I got them. It reminded me of how great Crumbl is and that I should return more often. Service here was fast and friendly as well--I was in and out quickly. It's a to go spot, so there aren't any spots to sit at and enjoy your sweet treat. It's located in the Cerritos Promenade so the area can get crowded, but there is a parking lot. read more

I know what you are thinking. The girl born on literal national dessert day definitely has tried crumbl cookie! And the answer is no. I'll tell you why, because I don't like standing in lines having to fight for my food. Luck was on my side and it wasn't packed like usual. There was still a pretty good amount of people here on a Tuesday around 1:30 pm. I walked in and you can see all the workers baking all the cookies. I do like the open kitchen / seeing them bake everything concept. But I didn't like how there was no interaction from the staff. Nobody greeted me or anything. You order from a kiosk and then they call your name and just hand you over the cookies. They didn't say anything. It just made it feel like a factory and not very warm. Especially since I was a first timer and couldn't ask questions like what their recommendations are It's cool they have different cookies for different weeks. They were sold out of the one I wanted. I went with a 4 pack The churro cookie The monster cookie The cookie dough cookie And the plain chocolate chip I really wanted to try these because I've heard sooooooo many mixed reviews on them I did think they were good. But would I get them all the time? No. I think there's better dessert places out there. I do think they are over hyped on social media I do like the parking. I got parking right up close. They are in a huge area with tons of other bakeries and restaurants I also am a baker myself. I do like how they are soft. When I bake cookies I usually take them out a minute or two early and have them finish cooking on the cookie sheet so it's a bit soft like these. Because i will say they were a little under done. First and last time at this Crumbl cookie! Seriously the most disgusting Crumbl cookie I've ever been to. I've been to multiple Crumbl cookie locations, including other states, and this one was just gross. First off, the parking situation is horrid. We parked in the Target parking lot and walked over because there was no place to park. Enter the Crumbl cookie store and the place is so dirty! The floors had inches thick of black dirt and grime all over, especially in the corners. The display cookies had a transparent plexiglass box over them and it was all scratched up and dirty looking. I've never been to a Crumbl cookie that had a transparent plexiglass box over the display cookies. The countertop where you order was also dirty. There's a sign on the front door that says no cash, yet you are indeed allowed to pay in cash, which is false information. The girl at the register could not count cash. She gave me the incorrect amount of money back and it took her way too long to be counting a few single dollar notes; you could see the gears in her head turning. The cookies tasted terrible. I've never had a Crumbl cookie that was hard and crunchy until these ones. Crumbl is always soft! These cookies were hard and crunchy as if they were baked too long. Crumble is a chain dessert shop that's blown up over the years. I haven't had it until recently and honestly, it's not really my jam. The type of cookie they serve is a little too sweet IMO and I'd much prefer the texture of a traditional chewy chocolate chip cookie. That being said, the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS cookie is pretty tasty with a good texture. I also had the banana pudding, which was also very tasty. The shop interior was clean and it was nice they displayed how cookies so folks can check out what they're ordering. The setup here is pretty standard: order at the sign, use the self-checkout, and you're good to go. Order go service. It has that familiar Crumbl ambiance I loved back in Utah. I decided to stop by Crumbl to get my daughter a treat instead of Halloween candy. Saw on their app they had a two-tier pumpkin cake flavor this week. Just HAD to have it! Weeks ago they had a carrot cake one that was similar and delicious! Even my 5yo loved it. So, when she saw the flavors this week she was like I want the carrot cake one. There is also a Dirt Cup cookie that is all chocolate w a gummy worm on top that I for sure thought she would want, but nope it was this one; the one I bought for myself. Thank goodness I bought two!! The chocolate one we couldn't pick up. It just crumbled, so we used a spoon for it, so wait until you get where you're going to eat it. I ordered on the app at the Cerritos location, across from the mall. The parking is cramped. They have an option on the app for curbside, but I don't see how. There were no markers or parking spots that I could see for curbside. So, I went inside instead. The store was dingy looking, the glass doors to open dirty with smudges. A piece of paper hanging with marker on it saying "NO CASH apple pay, card only" it was taped on by Crumbl cookie stickers and half coming off. The counter to take your order was disheveled looking and the counter to pick up your order was just plain, it looked as if something was missing. It took a few mins for someone to ask my name. The young man had no smile, in fact no one had a smile in there. He handed me my cookies and there was smudges of chocolate frosting on my box. The frosting to my pumpkin cake was very uneven and a tad off putting. Paying over $6 for it I was a disappointed. There was frosting on the top of my box when opening it up. I also bought the blue monster cookie w the chips ahoy and it is hard as a rock! I'm afraid we will break our teeth on this one. It says it comes with blue frosting, but ours is very light blue. I thought it would've been a little more blue. I usually go to the Whittier location and I will continue to go there. If I could give zero I would but in order to do this review I have to rate it with 1 star! When I say I am so disappointed in Crumbl, Cerritos... I am now taking into account all that has transpired I am confident in saying that management are a representation of the business owners - team members are a representation of management and so it all makes sense now. I visited this location just as I have more times than I can count last Saturday (3/16). I walked in and it was so loud with music but the noise levels of the team members were louder than the music. I'm all for having fun at work so it feels less of work and more of what you enjoy... but when YOUR FUN compromises your job, causes you not to pay attention to detail and has you overly laxed it's a PROBLEM for me because your mishandling of products I'm paying for. Thru the Crumble app I ordered: (1) Mint Brownie Batter, (1) Coconut Lime, (1) Buttermilk Pancake. I always check the cookies before leaving ANY Crumbl location just to make sure they're up to standards and the Buttermilk Pancake cookie looked horrid. It looked like someone put it together who had a blind fold on or a 5 year old did it. I brought the appearance of the cookie to the team members attention and showed her what it should look like and she looked at me like I wasn't speaking English. I told her that I'd like to return it and get my money if this was how these batch of cookies all looked. She assured me that there was another that looked better. She comes back with what looked like the same cookie and the box she handed me had frosting at the corners and outside the box. The box was raggedy like it was fumbled around then the cookie placed inside. I took pictures while in-store. (Management check your cameras) I contacted Crumbl's customer service they told me they would investigate. I sent an email to the store from the parking lot same day - no response all week. I reached out to Crumbl's customer service again for follow up (3/22) they assured a report would be created and the incident would be escalated for immediate attention. Still... nothing. crickets. At this point I'm done with this location. There are better locations with waaaaay better parking! As I said above: the team members are a reflection of management and management is reflective of the business owners. There is no pride taken into their cookie making/ presentation they slop together your order due to lack of care, no attention to detail and there seems to be no adequate leadership at this location! It's sad because this WAS my FAV location. BUT... there are better locations out there who actually take pride in their work, friendly and detail-oriented: +Crumbl, Torrance +Crumbl, Hawthorne They aren't too far from this location. The cookies at these locations in particular ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE THEY'RE SUPPOSE TO LOOK... the way the app shows that they should look.
