The black hair circled in the image

I ordered three small cookies and when I opened it when I arrived to my car, I found a black hair laying with my cookie when I went back inside to tell them, I told the only employee with no hairnet to put one on and she was dismissive and rude she had to be told multiple times by another employee to put one on never going back again. One of the cookies that I ordered included sliced apples while waiting for my order I observed the employees cutting the apple on the dirty table with no cutting board covered in sauces and other cookie residue. Having this dirty of a baking/cooking area can cause cross-contamination and is not cleanly for anybody with allergies.

All the cookies described in the review. Very very tasty

Ordered five cookies today the semi sweet chocolate chunk cookie, Olivia Rodrigo's guts cookie, chocolate covered strawberries cookies and the lemon glaze cookies. The service was impeccable and the place looked nice and clean. Watching the employees work diligently behind the counter

Let me start off by saying my kids were fans of Crumbl and have asked to go back. I was not- I think the issue is I had heard so much hype about Crumbl and their to die for cookies that I expected heaven on earth. It was not even close...... I prefer the basics and like a soft chocolate chip cookie made with semi sweet chips. Their chocolate chip cookie is made with milk chocolate chips, and really felt too sweet for me. Their other flavors, like the cookie dough, which was a signature one that week was also just too sweet. Keep in mind I like sweet but this was too much. I didn't find the cookies were worth the money, calories, and travel to get them but if we were in the area and my kids asked, I would probably stop by and get them one. I miss the days when Mrs. Fields had shops in our local CT malls- now those cookies were worth the money, travel, and caloric intake!! Sorry Crumbl not a fan but it seems you have plenty so it's all good.

This is an interesting place and if you like soft cookies, you'll love the product. I like my cookies a little more "done" or "baked" so they aren't really my jam but I understand why people really like them. When I was here, most of the customers entered their orders on the tablets to the left of the entrance and then just waited for their names to be called. One customer had a special order so she had to order through a worker. The lines move pretty fast but it does seem a little chaotic in there when it's crowded. I'll definitely go back as I have friends who love these cookies.

Our first crumbl cookies experience was awesome, we were able to split several cookies amongst friends to be able to try several flavors. Some of the frostings were a bit too sweet, but overall everyone was easily able to pick a favorite. We look forward to trying more flavors!

Two cousins started what soon thereafter became a national chain in 2017. Now in Connecticut, the cookie shop is unique in six ways: (1) The menu of cookies changes weekly. This offers opportunity to be able to try something new each visit. (2) While Crumbl regularly offers common cookie flavors, such as chocolate chip, the shop offers innovative twists on popular sweets by presenting them in cookie form. Orange creamsicle and buttermilk pancake cookies are examples of Crumbl's imaginative transformations. (3) The cookies are not served at room temperature, but either warm or chilled. (4) Customers can see the cookie-making in action from the counter. (5) The cookies, regardless of the number purchased, can be gift wrapped in their signature boxes. (6) The shop is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays! (Closed Sundays.) There are two ways the franchise, and as a result the shop, is unique in a negative way: First, despite thoughtful consideration of serving cookies warm or chilled, there is no seating available inside nor outside the strip mall shop to enjoy the cookie at the intended temperature, leaving uncomfortable car dining as only option. Between the fancy boxing and the temperature cookies are served, there is a lack of congruence between shop design and thoughtful cookie presentation. I could not eat much of the cookie after purchase, I can attest that the texture and taste (sugar less prominent) was better when I tried a warm piece in my car. This relates to the second unusual feature. The cookies are so thick, large, and sweet that only a piece may be eaten immediately after purchase. The franchise notes calories assuming this, publishing around a quarter to a third of the true calories for each cookie (around 500), which can only be discovered by locating and linking the nutrition information sheet. Not that I don't expect high calories when purchasing a large decadent cookie, but this may be considered deceptive. I tried two cookies that were not fresh from the shop (orange creamsicle and glazed oatmeal), and seven straight from shop (buttermilk pancake, blueberry cheesecake, cornbread, s'more's, birthday cake, apple pie, and peanut butter cup). Buttermilk pancake cookie, topped with maple icing and a dollop of butter icing and cornbread, topped with a dollop of honey butter icing and drizzled with honey, are my favorites so far.

I'm embarrassed to admit how much we love Crumbl! The cookies are special, though over priced. The menu changes every week but when there's more than 2 cookies that call to us we make our way for a pack. This store is soooo tiny and the parking lot is a logistical nightmare. Highly highly recommend avoiding a Saturday trip at all costs, as it's chaos + almost always have sold out cookies.

These cookies are amazingly delicious. We got a few to try the variety. Chocolate chip, fried ice cream, and walnut fudge brownie. All of the varieties were soft and chewy. Surprisingly my favorite was the chocolate chip. Some times classy is better than flashy. The fudge brownie and fried ice cream tasted exactly how I expected, but did not compare to the plain old chocolate chip. Two days later the cookies that were left still tasted as fresh as when we bought them. They have a rotating weekly menu. I would suggest checking out the website before heading there.Five stars!

I personally like warm very soft cookie that's almost to the point that it's still cookie dough and that's exactly how these cookies are. I can imagine if you let it sit for a day or two it'll harden up but I just love the soft gooeyness when it's fresh out the oven. I love that each week they come up with new flavors so it never gets boring and there's always at least one I'll like. Today was my first day trying it and I got the salted toffee chocolate chip one and it was sooo good. I would say it's better than the Insomnia cookie competitor only because the cookie is bigger and thicker and more fun varieties. It was self service ordering on the menu which was easy and got the cookie pretty fast after.

Are they worth the hype ? We went to the opening of crumbl cookie in Fairfield Saturday. The cookies are good. They are very filling, heavy and huge. Worth it to try and share a box with friends. You can cut them and all share. Not sure I would visit often but once in awhile. Favorite flavor was old fashion donut. Cookies with icing are super sweet. Great for a party favor.

Peacho, cookie butter, honey bun, blueberry cheesecake, cosmic brownie

Since the opening we have been three times. The first time we bought the 6-pack, second time got the 4-pack and this time got the 6-pack. I am not much of a sweets person, I like savory type foods more. My other half loves sweets so these are primarily for her. I have only likes three cookies out of the three times we have gone. My favorite is the key lime that they had the first open week, my second favorite is the honey bun and lastly the blueberry cheesecake cookie. I did not like a single cookie from last week and this week landed the 2 and 3 spot. I give three stars because i just think they could taste better. The peacho tasted nothing like peach at all. The cosmic brownie cookie wasn't brownie enough for me. The cookie butter tasted nothing like it should more bland than anything. The staff is very nice however and I'm sure we will continue to try more. For it being a cookie store I expect better flavor in all the cookies.

Don't make a special trip. They are good but over rated. The hype will die down soon.

Yummy cookie but gets 3 stars due to the under cooked cookie it's way to doughy, needs a few more minutes & it would be perfect.
