I happened to find this place on a Saturday morning while I was shopping at a nearby store. I asked the employees of the other store what the hype was about and if it was worth the wait. She said the wait looks like it's only 10 minutes and the cookies are good. I decided to venture over and wait in line. I was online for 10-15 minutes before entering the store and placing my order. I was there around 10:30am (they open at 8am) and they had already sold out of two of the cookies (but more were going to be made). I was a little disappointed in that, especially since I wanted both of them. Instead I got two peach cobblers and two cake batter. Both of these were delicious. They even kept well for two days after I got them (in a zip lock bag). Where they have the cookies displayed it's not clear that the smaller cookies are for catering orders only. The cookies that you do get are about the size of a small/medium adult sized had and as thick as a finger. They were quite tasty, but I'm glad I only waited for 10-15 min. I don't know that they'd be worth waiting an hour for (especially if you don't know if the ones you want will be available when you actually get into the store). read more

I love their cookie but makes the teenager workers work more than they should. 6 HOURS why are they making kids work that much? That is also child labor. And they THROW AWAY extra food that's a waste a food that could be shared with other who are not as rich as others. I saw that crumbl had the pink velvet cookies back on the menu so I decided to order a couple of them. These are normally one of my favorites at crumbl, but this time I could barely eat them. They were very dry on the outside, like they had been sitting out for a while, but then on the inside it was basically raw. The combination of the "stale" and "undercooked" textures that the cookies had to offer was not pleasant to say the least. Very disappointing given that each cookie is like 6 dollars. read more

Crumbl cookies are the best. I'm no stranger to them, but it seems that Naperville is! We stopped by this brand new location on Saturday. We were met with a crazy long, 45-minute line. This line was pretty unpleasant given that it was in the high 80s outside and there were some brazen children in line with us. However, we couldn't simply miss out on this week's flavors. I like how this location has self-serve check out locations for those who are in a rush or aware of the process. I'm sure once this location has been around a bit longer, the craziness will die down. Since this location just opened, there is a bit of a wait to get in. I waited about 45 min with my kids to get one of the most delicious cookies! My favorite is the original chocolate chip and the Nutella hazelnut. Eat them while they are hot and you will feel like your in heaven! Haha totally worth the wait! read more

I've been to other locations and this by far is my favorite one. Great service, friendly staff, and of course scrumptious cookies! Been to one other Crumbl Cookies store and now this one. Both had wonderful buttery cookies ... especially the chocolate chip if that's your fancy. Nice clean location, a lot of staff inside working the counter out front and making the cookies in back, and the same great selections. We need one of these in Orland Park to save me a few miles driving, but until then I'll trek out this way to get these delicious cookies. Recommended. read more

The assembly line ordering system works well though I had no idea you could only place an order on their video screen. I would've preferred to talk to someone about the different varieties before ordering. I love the rotating cookie flavor schedule every week along with a few mainstays. However upon entering one of the workers yelled out from the back they were out of lemon and snickerdoodles which were the two flavors I specifically wanted. They said it would be a long wait so I skipped that option and ordered a four pack. The only choices left were milk chocolate chip, semi sweet chocolate chip, frosted sugar and a brownie sundae. The cookies are quite big (as they should for the absurdly high price) and were well baked unlike what some others have said in their reviews. I didn't know which chocolate chip was which. One was really good and the other wasn't nearly as enjoyable and had an odd almost salty taste. The sugar cookie was nothing special. Finally the brownie sundae cookie was the one I was least looking forward to and much to my surprise ended up being the true star! The cookie truly tasted like a brownie Nd the icing mixed with the whipped cream and sauce was tasty. One great, one above average, one average and one below average.Not worth the price but I'm willing to go back for other varieties. Just hope next time they're not out of the ones I want! read more

But my one daughter thought the sugar cookie was really good and neither really liked the chocolate chip. I tried Crumbl cookies for the first time at this location. The line was pretty long and they were only allowing a few customers in at a time so there was a pretty long wait. Staff was friendly though and my cookies were ready shortly after I ordered. The cookies tasted great and were served warm. One cookie I ordered was served chilled and the fruit on top tasted fresh. I have continued coming to this location for my cookie fix! I recommend ordering ahead through the Crumbl app to avoid a long wait! read more

Cookies were delicious! We were shopping for the day from out of state. Line wasn't terrible to get in. Only issue was the checkout gal seemed like she might have needed to be rotated to do another job. She asked if I wanted a note and then spun around the iPad to ask for a tip. I was confused as to what she was asking and she seemed put out by this. Give first time customers a break on your lingo. I still didn't know what she meant until we got outside and my daughter explained that she was asking if we wanted something written on the box. It made me feel old and silly for not knowing what she was saying. Maybe just a sign letting customers know they could personalize their box. Instead of how it was asked... sign could say. I've been waiting for an opportunity to try Crumbl Cookies when there was not a line down the block. For months since they have opened, there has been a line outside regardless of the time of day or day of the week. I finally had my chance to visit without a line out the door today. It was quick and easy to order from the kiosk, I received my cookies shortly after, and they were warm. They are good cookies - but I can't say they are the greatest cookie I've ever had and I now know I would have been disappointed had I waited in a line that long. Overall, I will probably end up having these again at some point and am not disappointed with them but I do not think they are worth standing in a line down the block for. read more

It's kinda of like going to a place the specializes in soup and getting their soup and it being some of the most beautiful soup you've ever seen. You're all like, "check out this soup, it looks so good!" But then you eat the soup and it's just kind of mediocre. The soup in soft and chewy on the inside, but the flavor isn't that great. Let's say you go into the soup spot and order the chocolate chip cookie soup. You say to yourself this will be an absolute banger because it's chocolate chip cookie soup. We came to Chicago to visit family from Orange County in California. On one of our trips we stumbled upon Crumbles and noticed an extremely long line of customers waiting to go in. We thought the cookies would be something expectacular and remarkable to have such a long line of customers waiting. During our most recent visit to the area we decided to stop and see what was so special about this cookie place and went in! It was our first time in and we saw several people serving and talking among themselves. Unfortunately, as soon as they saw us coming they all turned around and huddled together. NOT ONE, not one server greeted us, or offer any sort of sign that they were ready to help us. After watching another customer we placed our order in the computer and paid. We took our coveted cookies home and expected them to be simply amazing, after all so many people seemed to love them. Let me tell you it was a HUGE disappointment! The cookies are huge, decorated very nicely, but as soon as you take a bite of the cookie you have to spit them out. The cookies were RAW!!! So completely undercooked that I could taste bits of egg on the cookie I tried to eat. I understand that some cookies need to be chewy and soft to make them more appetizing, but I was not expecting them to be raw. I am so disappointed in the customer service, never expected the servers to turn their backs on us. The cookies were terrible. This is an experience I will never, ever repeat. I will not be returning to Crumbles ever, and I will not recommend them either. read more

This is by far the absolute worst crumbl location I've ever been to. The staff is rude. Don't even try to order at the counter because they will not even glance at you. You have to order at a kiosk, yet all of their kiosks were broken yesterday. This location has the weirdest vibes ever, and I will drive farther the go to the other one next time. read more

Horrible customer service! I always next door buying drinks and seen a long line so I'm thinking once there's no wait . I will go in and see what do they have. My daughter wants to try their cookies. Yesterday my daughter and i were there. There's no line . We open the door and go inside. We look around for 2 second before the guy at the cashier yelling at both of us. Point his finger and tell us to go outside. I was shocked . There's a space we stand there with nobody around and definitely 6 feet apart. And if there's any concern about anything it should be addressed respectfully. Not yelling and pointing fingers. (We both had face mask on) My daughter is 11 . She's excited to try cookie . And that was first action from the store. Horrible !!!! I read through whole review and seen comments about poor customer and almost certain that's the same person. And you do not need to write me back. I contacted customer service line right away and they basically say sorry and ignored it. Surely will spread words about our experience. I don't care you make best or worst cookies . But this kind of treatment to customer will never last long. read more

I ordered on line with a set pick up time but when I arrived the store was busy and it was totally unclear where to go to let them know I had arrived so I ended up in line behind people who were placing orders . When they finally got to me they said my order was t ready yet. By now it was 30 minutes after the designated pick up time . my experience at the Schaumburg location was much smoother but the cookies are spectacular. The chocolate chip mint was dee- lish-ous!! We were silly enough to stand in line for an hour to buy 5 cookies at $18.75. We each took a sample of each of the five cookies: Mango Yogurt - this was probably the best cookie. The sugar cookie itself was very good. The mango-yogurt frosting tasted like sugar yogurt with one bite of a dehydrated mango piece. That being said, the cold cookie yogurt thing works. Kentucky Butter - The buttery flavor is great. The entirely uncooked center was not. Raw flavor does not win out against raw cookie. Chocolate Potato Chip - the salty/sweet combination is good. It is actually the most tolerable cookie because the saltiness subdues the obscene sweetness. It would be nice if the cookie was cooked though. Milk Chocolate Chip - The signature cookie. Supposed to be amazing, right? Well - it was undercooked which gave it a spongey texture. The chocolate chips were not melty like they were in the other cookies. This was by far a disappointment. I've had better warm chocolate chip cookies. I've had better soft chocolate chip cookies. I've had bigger chocolate chip cookies. They were all less than $4.00 Dulce de Leche - just a caramel drowned cookie. It literally made my teeth hurt. It was waaaay too rich. Fir only having six flavors a week, perhaps a little more diversity would be advisable. A more chocolatey cookie, or peanut butter would be nice to offset all the sugar cookies this week.
