We went in to get the kids some treat. The girl who checked us out was very sweet, no one had name tags so I couldn't say her name. But she was very patient and had a big smile. One son ordered a cookie, and my other one decided he didn't want one. After thinking he then picked one so we placed another order. Again she was very nice. The girl in the back doing the cookies however was not. She was storming around, throwing the icing bags when making the cookies. I saw her break one cookie then still give it to the customer who bought dozen, he didn't notice, but she clearly couldn't be bothered to get him a new one. They are $5 each. He should not be getting a broken cookie at that price. When my order came she practically threw the box at me on the counter, I told her oh I ordered two. She got upset, and said 'what's the problem', pretty aggressive in tone and body language. I replied that I order two cookies but oh I just realized they were on two different orders, I'm sorry'. She walked away. The second cookie came out something she threw it at the counter and walked away. Extremely rude, if I wasn't with my kids I would have drawed attention to her customer service. In the car, my son said his cookie was melting. Strange, but I told him it's probably the cookie flavor and it was warm. This Crumbl is fairly standard as far as their locations go. I visited a few weeks ago to pick up some mini cookies as a "thank you" gift for the veterinary clinic that was doing a procedure on one of my cats. I typically just order on the app and pop in to pick up an order, but this time I went in to order my cookies. The store itself felt clean and there was a small standing area to wait for your cookies to be boxed up. The employees were pleasant enough and were efficient. I am extremely disappointed with crumbl's service tonight, to the point where I may not be returning. Tonight was my friend's 18th birthday, and all she wanted was her free Crumbl birthday cookie, something she had been looking forward to all week. She's a Silver member with more than enough crumbs, a verified birthday on the app, plenty of past orders, and her birthday verified on her ID. We entered her number, refreshed the app endlessly, and even waited 45 minutes because the manager (Taylor) told us "just wait 5 minutes" for the voucher to appear. It never did. What made it worse is that the store had the means to make it right--they could have issued a voucher or simply honored the free cookie--but Taylor flat-out refused. Instead, she brushed us off and was extremely uninterested in fixing the issue, insisted it wasn't their error (but also not ours?), and then gave us some phone numbers and told us to take it up with whoever manages the app. On a milestone birthday, when all my friend wanted was a cookie she rightfully earned, she was met with rudeness and zero effort to fix the problem. It makes me sad for my friend who was super excited to celebrate her 18th birthday and she didn't even get the cookie.
