I want to like this place. I really do. I have a sweet tooth, but every time I have been here the cookies are just eh. I had a free birthday cookie, so I got a curbside of the Raspberry Lemonade cookie. First thing was that they used a real lemon slice on top, which was just garnish. A candied lemon would have been better. The cookie was thick and not quite baked all the way. Frosting was toouch and just not tasty at all. Have I gotten good cookies from here b fore? Yes, especially the pies and cheesecakes. Service is always wonderful as well. But it's hit and miss for sure. read more

We were in the Arrowhead area and wanted something sweet. We don't get Crumbl too often but this week they had 4 different flavors the family wanted to try. I put in an order on the app and walked in a few minutes later. The gal working up front greeted me and asked if I put in an order. She grabbed my name and boxed up our order quickly. We got the strawberry shortcake, Oreo cake, banana bread cookie and confetti cake cookie. The banana bread cookie is one of my favorites and no different this time. I stopped by for a gift card on a Friday evening and there was no one inside. It was actually kind of dirty, and it took a long time for me to get my gift card. I used the kiosk because the other employees were making cookies in the back. They finally called my name after about five minutes and asked what kind of gift card I wanted. I said I didn't care, and they gave me a gift card. I asked for a receipt, and they told me to get it in the app. I went into the app, and it actually doesn't have a gift card, it just shows the total and the last four digits of your card. I need this for reimbursement purposes, so that was very annoying. read more

I saw Crumbl Cookies featured on a YouTube channel. I honestly had no idea what they were or that there was a location so close to me. SCORE! I downloaded their app and placed a pick up order online. So the key to Crumbl's success is that their flavors change on a weekly basis. Yes, weekly. So if you love a flavor this week, you'll need to stockpile because it won't be available next week. If you hate this week's flavors, wait 'til next week because they'll be different. The marketing is genius and obviously something that continues to work. This location in Peoria is on Bell adjacent to Target. Super convenient. Super easy to find. Plenty of ample parking. Parking lot and entryway are clean. The sign out front is enormous so there's no way you're going to miss the fact that you're going to be in pure cookie bliss momentarily. So I go to the app and click the little button that says I'M HERE! FEED ME NOW! (or something like that). The nice gentleman behind the counter confirmed my name and then handed me my 4-pack of sweetness. I opted for (1) chocolate chip, (1) apple pie and (2) s'mores. They are served warm. They're served fresh. And they're served in a way where you're not going to make it very far before you begin shoveling these cookies into your face. The chocolate chip was soft, squishy and gooey. Absolutely loaded with chocolate chips. It was buttery, creamy and one of the better chocolate chip cookies I've had the pleasure of shoveling into my mouth. The apple pie cookie was amazing because love apple pie. It was honestly like a cookie shaped apple pie. Buttery, flavorful and chunks of apples everywhere. The s'mores were beyond epic. I love gooey marshmallows and having this thing sit on mound of chocolate on top of a cookie made it impossible for me to smile. Highly highly recommended. They're open from 8a to midnight or something crazy like that on Fridays and Saturdays. Eat your veggies at dinner, pile into the car and check out Crumbl! Stopped in this Crumbl location a few times to pick up the 1/2 dozen as Christmas gifts for my Hair Stylist, Nail Salon, Primary Care physician, Veterinarians, mailman, and pool guy ... everyone was thrilled to have them. They were fresh from the oven and so so good .. got one for myself just to be sure ;) Agree with some of the reviews that other than the woman doing the baking, the younger employees present at their job as " just going through the motions". I'm not sure why that is as like all food based establishments that are customer service based, smiles are a must - and cookies sure do make everyone smile! Not looking for anyone to gush, but a simple smile with a "Hi, welcome to Crumbl how can we help you" might boost reviews and bring more customers in? Other than that minor issue, the cookies were delish and I'll be back to that bakery. read more
