It's my first birthday away from home and I've felt nothing but love and great hospitality from NC folks. I came in today to claim my birthday freebie from Crumbl and was kindly greeted by Joe. He's one (?) of the managers at this sweet establishment and I couldn't have been luckier to have him welcome me today. As a kind gesture, Joe gave me another cookie for my birthday. I got a chocolate chip cookie and their peanut butter cookie for this week. Just took a bite of the chocolate chip cookie and can tell that it was baked fresh today! Loved the hint of salt that gives a nice salty taste to the bountiful semi sweet chocolate chunks. Can't wait to dive in and try the other cookie! My daughter and I are regular customers at the Crumble Cookies location at Southpoint in Durham, NC. I'm writing to formally report ongoing issues with evening service and product availability at this location. On five or more occasions, I have visited this store around 8:00 PM, and nearly all cookies were marked sold out, with only one or two options available--despite the store remaining open until 10:00 PM. It is frustrating and confusing that fresh cookies are not being baked to support the remaining hours of operation. During my most recent visit, I observed one employee sitting in the back loudly on her phone and another employee standing idle while the store had only two cookies available for purchase. While this was happening, I personally watched a family of five walk out due to limited options, followed by another couple, and then my daughter and me. There is no telling how many other customers left for the same reason. This not only hurts customer experience but also results in lost sales and wasted time for customers who made the trip to this location. This appears to be a routine issue, not a one-time occurrence. I do not experience these problems at the Brier Creek Crumbl location, though I prefer the Southpoint store because it is more convenient. Additionally, when popular items are released, they are frequently marked as "sold out" at this location. For example, when the Dubai brownie was introduced, my daughter and I visited the Southpoint store three different days, during the middle of the day, and it was listed as sold out each time. Given the timing, it seems unlikely the item was truly sold out and more likely that it was not being made. I have also seen groups of customers leave the store because of this. It appears that evening shifts are staffed primarily by younger employees who may need additional structure, supervision, or leadership. Employees using their phones instead of actively baking or preparing products--especially with two hours left before closing--is concerning. I hope this matter is addressed promptly. I honestly didn't expect to get as hooked on Crumbl as I am, but here we are. It started out as a "let's just try it once" kind of thing, and now I'm checking the new cookie lineup every Sunday night like it's a ritual. Walking in the store smelled amazing! I was very clean and they had to self order stations or you can order with a person. I love that they had the cookies of the week out so you can see what they look like. Crumbl changes their menu every single week. You can check their website ahead to see what is featured each week. These cookies are amazing! They are so soft and flavorful! The best we tried was the cinnamon roll but they were all so so good! This will be at least a monthly treat for me. Boy am I happy that a Crumbl opened so close to me! My sister and I used to go all the way to Cary for Crumbl but now have it conveniently only 5 minutes away. Also close to Target, Homegoods, and the mall so the location is for sure a clever one. Tempted to take away one star because of the danger this brings to me. Omg the hype is real. This cornbread cookie has no business being this good. I have heard lots of rumblings on social media about this flavor but was skeptical the last time they had it. I was nearby so decided to stop and grab some. Wow. It is served warm, melts in your mouth, with a drizzle of honey on top. The cookies we've had from the Crumbl Cookies location in Durham have all been good to great. This Crumbl Cookies opened in December 2021 in Renaissance Village in Southpoint. Same shopping center as Target. This is a chain with hundreds of locations across the country. At the time of writing this review, there are five Crumbl Cookies locations in the Triangle. This one is the furthest west, near the Durham-Chapel Hill border. Inside the Durham Crumbl store, you can order at a kiosk or with a human and pick up your cookies from a human at the pickup counter. You can also use the Crumbl app to order, curbside too if you want. Except for the company's signature Milk Chocolate Chip cookie, the cookie menu changes weekly. Currently, six cookies are offered at any given time with five rotating on a weekly basis. You can see actual cookie samples in-store before you order. We haven't had a disappointing cookie yet. Here's what we've tried so far: * Milk Chocolate Chip * Confetti Cake * Red Velvet White Chip * Boston Cream Pie * Classic Pink Sugar * Caramel Cake * French Silk Pie (chilled) * Caramel Popcorn * Raspberry Cheesecake * Strawberry Shortcake * Mallow Sandwich ft. So, currently, you're looking at spending over $5.00 per cookie. That's if you buy singles. The more cookies you buy, the more you save. This store offers 4-pack ($13.63 or $3.41 per cookie), 6-pack ($20.98 or $3.50 per cookie), and 12-pack ($35.68 or $2.97 per cookie) boxes. The prices I listed here for the packs are before tax, service fee, and tip. My favorite has been the Confetti Cake, followed by the Red Velvet White Chip, and Strawberry Shortcake. My wife doesn't have a favorite. She thinks "they're all so good" and I agree - all of the cookies have been delicious. They've been terrific in terms of both taste and texture. Some of the cookies are served warm while others are served cool or at room temp. For example, the cream on top of our Boston Cream Pie cookies was served cool. I loved the smooth and delectable icing on top of the Confetti Cake cookie (and I'm a sucker for rainbow sprinkles). The best thing about the Red Velvet White Chip cookies to me was their consistency. They were wonderfully soft and chewy. The Caramel Cake cookie was outstanding as well. Amazing flavor. The French Silk Pie was excellent. Rich and chocolaty. You really can't go wrong here. I will say the Raspberry Cheesecake didn't taste too much like cheesecake to me (and I am a big cheesecake fan) and I wasn't crazy about the Caramel Popcorn (good, not great). As someone who loves Oreos and "cookies and cream" anything, I was expecting more Oreo and pure, sweet icing flavor out of the Mallow Sandwich ft. Oreo. I loved the generous portion size, however. Lots of cookie and cream. In general, all of the cookies we've had from this Crumbl location have been super fresh, finished seconds/minutes before we've picked them up, and smelled and tasted fantastic. The store is relatively new, clean, and modern. It's nice. Inside, it's bright, white, and features an open kitchen. During our visits, the store hasn't been slammed, but it has had a steady stream of customers. Because there's no seating inside, often we've seen customers sitting on the benches and standing outside the store enjoying their yummy cookies. Our cookies have been ready for pick-up only a few minutes after ordering via both the kiosks and human server. Service has been great. The staff has been polite and friendly. Crumbl sells ice cream too. I give Crumbl Durham a solid four stars. read more

My boss bought the office a dozen of these for Valentine's Day...there are only 7 of us here so it took almost a week for us to eat the whole box (but you better believe we finished every single crumb!) This is my favorite crumbl!!! The cookies I got here this week were so good. I LOVED the M&M cookie. It was so crumbly and filled with M&Ms. I also really like sugar shark. So fun! Well, all but the staple milk chocolate chip that's always available. The cookies are a little pricey, $3.83 pre-tax. But they are huge, like 2x the size of cookies from other national chains (though smaller than Levain). The presentation also justifies the price, each cookie is individually packaged in a cute pink box. I liked the milk chocolate chip, it was soft and had pockets of melted chocolate. Great execution on a cookie classic. I didn't enjoy the chocolate cake one so much. There was a staleness that reminded me of store bought chocolate cake mix. I had read about this location opening up in Durham and we were in the area so we stopped in and got a four pack (two chocolate chip, one peanut butter, and a funfetti). The interior definitely smelled like a cookie bakery and the staff were very pleasant. We could see them behind the counter mixing ingredients, and a huge mixer was going, so you know the cookies are made onsite. Unfortunately, we found the cookies to be too sweet for our tastes. I know others love these large cookies and the chain has a loyal following, so they will do well here. I just don't think we'll be visiting too often. read more

It's so easy to order, you can either use the app or the touch screens when you go in. Great for folks with social anxiety. When I first called, they said they were open for another half hour but just weren't delivering. When I asked a clarifying question, the worker hung up on me. After I called back twice, they said they were actually closing half an hour early. When I asked why, they paused for a second and said "because of uh...fumes." It was blatantly obvious that they were lying and wanted to close the store early; they even told me to call back the next morning (how would these "fumes" be resolved in a day?) They also said that they didn't hang up on me, but that the phones get messed up when the store is about to close (?????) Whoever I was talking to, you're not great at lying lol. Walked into Crumbl yesterday to try and find a little something special to take to grandchildren. As soon as I walked in I witnessed 3 employees working and 2 customers. Very quiet and serene environment. No sound, no interaction, no greeting, no background noise whatsoever. It was a very uncomfortable setting and the employees could have saved the day but didn't. I purchased 2 cookies but it was difficult. They have 6 varieties available and found that that is all they ever have at one time.
