I was overwhelmed with trying to put together a Celebration of Life for my husband, who died of pancreatic cancer on Christmas Eve. He was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed fishing and general gatherings with our friends. He had so many friends, many of whom I had never met before! They came from NY, NJ, FL and the Midwest. I left most of it up to the catering service at Colonial Heritage. I really wanted a memorable carrot cake, decorated with a golf theme. My siblings and children were all searching, too. They eschewed grocery store bakeries, though. They were determined to have something made by a fulltime bakery. Time was getting short. I just couldn't get excited about the smaller bakeries, who seemed to make lots of cupcakes, and round cakes. I really wanted a sheet cake celebrating my husband's favorite activity, golf! I tried to contact several places, but couldn't connect, or commit. Finally, I contacted Publix.....I have tried a number of their bakery items, all drool worthy. I didn't get a response two days out, but my sister and I persisted, and the day before, we got a person willing to at least discuss what we wanted! They require 24 hours notice, which worked for us, but they had 100 cakes already promised; they needed extra time! Our event was 2:15 to 5 pm Saturday. We couldn't pick up until 4:00 pm! I actually volunteered to have my son pick it up earlier and decorate it himself.....a past skill learned working part time while going to school, but no dice. He picked it up at the appointed hour, and we watched our guests devour it, a full sheet cake! It was a smashing success, and absolutely the best tasting carrot cake I have ever had. I love choosing these cookies for birthday parties,or when the family needs somewhere to go. as far as the cookiea, they are one of the best cookies our family has had. Clean restaurant, excellent customer service, and the cookies were exactly as they should be coming from this brand! My second time getting to enjoy a Snickerdoodle and it tasted just as it did the first time I tried it at a location in Maryland and fell in love! Kudos to the brand consistency! One of my go to spot for a sweet treat. Glad to see them in Williamsburg, since being introduce to them at the OBX, I would always make a few trips to Crumbl while at the OBX. Can't beat the daily fresh made to order variety selection they have to offer. It's a nice touch to have the recipe switch each week. So many options to try. read more

I went in fairly early on a Saturday morning for a pickup order and was greeted by the kindest young lady. She was quick to get my order to me and had a genuine smile and friendly personality. Sadly, that's so rare these days. My cookies were good and the service was great!! read more
