We decided to stop in and have a bite. The one in Centennial closed so this was closest to us. First off, the workers were to busy chatting to take our order. Rude. We had to wait till these teens stopped their conversation to do their job. Which took about 10 min. And we were the only customers there. We also noticed the place was dirty and needs an upgrade. Its not hard to stop talking and clean. I was questioning if this was a good idea. The food tasted okay, not bad just okay. The inside definitely needs attention, the walls had food splatters, the countertop was filthy, the chairs looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while, and the windows were covered in handprints. On the positive side, the cashier was very friendly and our food came out quickly. I ordered the mozzarella hot dog with mustard cheese, ketchup, and Parmesan. It had an amazing cheese pull! It's more than just a corn dog. It's really a fast food place you can eat on the inside. Ambience is lively music, but just really a grab and go great customer service one of my favorite cheddar and hot dog. I also like a Choco dog along with the potato hotdog. We've been to the spring mtn location a few times and this one is just as good and less busy. 1 star for the wood bar top. The back half of the entire bar is covered in sticky oil and dust. I have never had this place before, I was so excited to try it- I pull up at 10:59 obviously knowing the wait till 11 to open. So I was in the car then see a young girl start walking up. I walk towards the door and it's still locked and she completely dismisses me and turns on the sign. So I stand there for a minute and then she walks over and says come on... no facial expression except for the fact she looks pissed that I'm here right when they open. I look at the menu and she's not saying anything to me, finally after a good 2-3 min she said " you can order" so I order and waited. The food came out and she asked if I needed toppings. I've gone to the original location in Spring Mountain, but I recently just tried in the Northwest location off of the 215/Decatur. The 215/Decatur location is in a large shopping plaza next to Popcorn Girl and Griddlecakes. There is ample amount of parking available. Inside Cruncheese Korean Hotdog, there is no table seating available, however, there is bar seating along the wall. Their menu offers a wide variety of deep fried hot dogs, deep fried mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese! There is even squid-ink, rice cake, and potato hot dog! There are so many to choose from! Ultimately, I decided to choose the All Mozzarella cheese and my partner selected the Mozzarella & hotdog. My topping include sugar! The food was so delicious! I could only eat one mozzarella cheese stick! Afterwards, I was so full!! It reminded me of a funnel cake. I would order it again! The service was pretty quick and efficient. I'm not a huge fan of hotdogs. I feel like hotdogs by themselves is bordering on boring and insulting to my taste buds. What exactly is that weird taste? What is it made of? What part of the animal? Excuse me? A self-proclaimed Korean who has never set foot in Korea told me "they" don't really eat hotdogs in Korea. Which is funny because when I visited Seoul, they had street food including hotdogs! Their menu is quite simple. What I like about Cruncheese is that they made hotdogs more edible by adding cheese and dipping them in batter, sometimes covered in ramen, sometimes covered in potatoes. I have been wanting to try Korean hot dogs forever. Finally talked my son into going. We got the all mozzarella, the potato hot dog and the 1/2 and 1/2 mozzarella and hotdog. The worker suggested the garlic butter and the cheese mustard on the potato one. The mozzarella one was rolled in sugar, because my child loves sugar lol, and then ketchup. The 1/2 and 1/2 I did parm and ketchup. The cheese pull was real and the food was great. The best part is the price is great for these too. We did the 3 hot dogs and two lemonades and was just under $21. If you have not tried this place you need to go. They have one in china town too, but I just don't love out there. I think you need to make a few trips to try the selection of their corn dogs on their menu. So service excellent first time here the girls were very patient ,very helpful and explained everything to me. It can be kind of confusing but they let you understand what is what. Ambiance pretty cool set up nice bright board for the menu and seating is minimal but enough if you want to have a quick bite inside. Very very clean inside. Food wise I got the half beef dog with cheese and topped with the potatoes the was great crunchy from outside it was good. Very high quality hot dog they use and the cheese is great gooey and tasty. Now I also got a half half cheddar and mozzarella corn dog also done very well great crunch. I ordered all beef corn dog for my father enjoyed it he was happy. They do have a unique Corn dog that has squid ink. Do not let the idea of that scare you. It is actually quite good. It taste like shrimp chips. After your order comes out, you have some options of seasonings/sauces. You can dip your corndog in customizing your flavor even more. They also serve different flavored lemonades that are good, too. There really isn't a place to sit and enjoy your corndog. There is minimal seating against the wall, but it makes it hard to talk to someone sideways. The workers have always been nice. Food is usually pretty fast. Everything is cooked to order. I'll warn you that the potato dipped corn dog may not seem like a lot, but those potatoes expand. It's a meal in itself. A welcomed new addition to the North Town dining scene. Always nice to see a taste of Spring Mountain move to other parts of the valley and this one tastes as good as the first location. Of the three items we tried all were fresh, hot and tasty. One thing I need to work on is my sauce and sprinkle game. I tried the garlic parmesan and the mustard cheese but not in the quantity I desired, I could have drank the entire bottle they were so good. But what is this sugar they asked me if I wanted....I wasn't brave enough to try it. Next time... I suppose, because I will be back. After I ordered it took about 15 mins of waiting time to get my food. When the guy called my number he asked politely what sauces or seasoning I'd like.
