We came in around 6:30 PM on Friday 8/21 and were seated all the way to the left. A young lady was serving my husband and me..honestly, this was one of my worst visits here not only because of the customer service, but also because of the food. When we first came in, she asked if we had been here before. We said yes, a couple of times. She then says Okay, well, I'm just letting you know there's no leftovers or carryout, with a look and tone that made it feel like she was already judging us and assuming we were the type of customers who would do that. ????? I really didn't appreciate that comment, and unfortunately, the vibe stayed uncomfortable for the rest of our visit. We ordered 2 orders of fried brussels sprouts, one for each of us, but she only brought one. When we told her we ordered 2, she said she was going to bring the 2nd one after we finished the first. Seriously? We weren't asking for anything unreasonable we simply wanted our food . To make things worse, almost everything we were served tasted either burnt or dry. Maybe it was just the overall experience, but the whole vibe made us uncomfortable, and at that point, we just wanted to finish and leave. We did the highest tier here and it was still a good deal. It's all you can eat but there are some premium items only available for one order per person. The rice to fish ratio was a little funny but in a good way. It was a really tiny amount. Food came out pretty fast as well. Sometimes they would forget 1 or 2 things but it wasn't too bad. One of the premium items was a wagyu skewer and it was so tough, it did not taste like wagyu at all. I'm not sure if it's one of those fake wagyus, but definitely overcooked. The skewers werent my favorite. I liked their rolls because the orders come out 4 at a time so if you have a group you can try out a lot of different rolls without getting too full! We originally planned to come here the day before but unfortunately we forgot to monitor the yelp waitlist. by the time we realized, around 6 pm, the waitlist was 3-4 hours long and they would have closed by then! This might be my new go-to place in Vegas! I visited this place a couple of times already, once when it first opened and for the recent July 4th weekend. It's not too hard to find parking in the plaza. There is usually always a wait, which is the only negative for me. The online Yelp wait-list does not work, so you need to physically stop by to add yourself to the list. Usually, it's always an hour or more wait since the restaurant isn't too big. My most recent visit was better than the first. We did have to wait about an hour before we got seated. The whole table needs to order the same menu, and we settled on menu B, which I think is the best value. Everything was fresh and tasty! They kept up with our large number of orders, and our items came out fast. You get 90 minutes to eat, so we ordered and ate pretty steadily throughout. The staff is also friendly and patient! I really enjoy the variety of items they have, so this place will definitely be a hit for people who like to try different things. Will be back again when I'm in the Vegas area! read more

It's literally only about a 6-minute drive from the airport and has easily become my FAVORITE all-you-can-eat sushi + skewers spot off the Strip. I like this place so much that as soon as my plane lands, I'm already joining the waitlist before I even get off the plane. Priorities!! They have 3 different AYCE sets, each about $10 apart, so it really depends on what you're there to eat. Personally, I'm here for the SUSHI, so Set B is perfect for me because it already includes some of my favorites like sweet shrimp, uni, and ikura. If you're coming for the Wagyu and want more of the premium items, then upgrading to the higher set might be worth it. Just keep in mind that everyone at the table has to choose the SAME set, so you'll have to come to an agreement with your group! A friend and I checked the spot out and boy was it worth the wait. The staff were very friendly and made sure that our food kept coming. We were seated at the bar top and could see the sushi being rolled and the food flying out of the kitchen. Very fun to carry conversations and does his magic to arrange your orders perfectly. Ask for him if possible! There are various items on the menu for everyone even for kids or ppl don't eat seafood or raw food. We are party of 4, catering to option C $48 p/p and we all agree sushi here is mediocre. Robata is better. Just note that everyone at the same table needs to order the same tier. Kids above 8 years old are considered and charged as an adult. Most of the orders are nice, but all the sauce is on the sweet side (a bit too sweet for me) but kids love it. Overall their sauce and broth is very salty. The only thing disappoints is oyster, not tasting fresh. All the robatas are delicious, especially the salmon collar and eels, very juicy and buttery. Great value and everything was delicious. We went with the B tier, and I thought it was the sweet spot. The jump in quality from A to B is pretty noticeable, while the difference between B and C felt much smaller. C mainly adds a few more beef options. A few honorable mentions: the grilled salmon collar was probably my favorite dish of the night, the oyster was gigantic and surprisingly sweet, and the beef skewers were really tasty. Absolutely delicious AYCE skewers and sushi (ramen as well, plus other sides like tempura and fries etc). I cannot stop thinking about this place! The fish for all the sushi was so fresh and melts in your mouth. The skewers?! So juicy and so easy to bite. It's an AYCE tier system and we did the middle tier and there were plenty of options for everyone. The sushi rolls take a bit to come out but it's sure worth the wait. The waiters are on top of it coming around to get orders (no limit to how much you order at once, but keep in mind there's a fee if you don't finish) There's a bunch of tables but I would recommend getting on the yelp waitlist prior to coming! Visited 888 Sushi & Robata for lunch on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and overall it was definitely worth the visit. The inside is super cool with a massive LED screen playing a tranquil garden scene that gives the whole place a unique vibe. The sushi was really good with tons of creative options and a huge variety to choose from. We were originally told the wait would be around 2 hours but ended up getting seated in only about 30 minutes, which was a nice surprise. Our server was also great throughout the meal. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the food came out very slowly and kind of randomly, which made it hard to keep track of what we ordered and whether we'd end up over ordering. It's not really a round by round AYCE system, you just keep ordering as your stomach sees fit, so timing matters. Holy moly this place is solid 10/10 top tier sushi for a whole 90 min. I had the pleasure of coming here 3 times in the week I was in town. I'm used to omakases in the $300+ range and this one I still think and dream about to this day. Ryan our server was extremely helpful and prompt to every one of wants and needs when it came to trying as much as we could. The huge screen makes you think you're back in Tokyo and the quality of their menu takes things to that next level of satisfaction. I definitely did some damage while I was there every visit and they always were so kind and never kicking us out while we enjoyed our meals up until the very last seconds haha. Came in around 1:50 with a reservation placed at 12:30. Our server was Enzo, he was great and quick at getting us our food. Elite server right there The quality of the ingredients were decent! They don't overload your sushi with rice, so it has a great ratio of fish/meat to sushi rice. Everything took 3-10 minutes to come out, and they're on top of bussing your table. We ended up paying 285 with a beer and soju added for a group of 5. Highly recommend the carpaccio, oysters (no fishy smell, elite), wagyu skewers, and hide in the bush. A few things that weren't the best was how we got removed from the queue list. Luckily we had a second person also in queue to hold in case and were 2 minutes out. But I wasn't sure why they would tell us to text/call but no one answers if we do that. The uni and niku uni were okay, despite only getting 1 per person. Seemed like it would have a better taste expectation, but fell flat. My least favorite was the yumyum scallops, didn't have much scallops/was pretty mid compared to everything else. The place is absolutely bananas to get a reservation and get into. Super difficult, as they're always busy. So be warned, plan in advance/ Seated at a table with 10 diners, it was a big party. We ordered a ton of rolls and sushi and let me tell you, there wasn't one bad thing that came to the table that we ate: the flavors and the freshness were absolutely incredible. Fresh rice, fresh fish and absolutely bursting with flavors. 888 sushi is one of the best sushi places I have ever eaten, hands down. Came here after having great experiences at other 888 locations, and this one definitely lived up to expectations. The sushi was fresh and good quality with a ton of variety--we tried the B-tier menu and felt like there were still plenty of options to explore. The premium items really stood out, especially the oysters and eel, which were excellent. The yakitori was flavorful and had a nice richness to it; the only minor note is that it didn't quite have that traditional charcoal-grilled taste, but the meat itself was well-cooked and tasty. Some of my favorite dishes included: eel yakitori, salmon Pringle, all the premium capacio, and sweet shrimp. Loved finishing the meal with the soft serve ice cream--it was a nice touch. To start, I ordered the items marked with a red dot since those are limited to 1 per person. So even if one person in your group doesn't want that item but you do, have them order it anyways so you can enjoy their serving. We tried appetizers, nigiris, skewers, and rolls. Almost everything we tried was delicious. The soft serve that is part of the AYCE was meh and you're better off ordering the ice cream that you can pay separately for or you can get it for free by showing them your check-in on Yelp. Everything from the service to the music was great, except it can be quite loud. I would definitely come back here for the quality and price. read more

We walked here from the strip to get our appetites going. Didn't have to deal with parking or anything. We arrived before opening but there was already a line of 10 people ahead of us! Guess this place is really popular. One of my friends recommended this place to us so we had to go. We opted for the premium menu and immediately upon sitting down, we strategized to order everything that was had a limit of one order per person. I think our server was pretty amused by this and happily accomodated the request. Everything was incredibly fresh and came out fast! Fish was high quality and tasty! This combo is an amazing addition to the Vegas AYCE scene. And the food is delicious. The sushi is lots of fish and minimal rice. If you get the B menu at least you can get mini hand rolls that are full of fish! I also love that they have kampachi as an option which I haven't seen on ayce menus before. The robota options are quite extensive. Note, if you want beef, you need to go at least to B and it's definitely worth it. Flavorful and tender meat with that char that makes it taste so good. Yelp sent a text saying this place needs more pictures and I know why... it's so good, you forget to take pics because you want to just keep eating!! The hot food wasn't the best here, we tried a few items and it just didn't have the flavor that many other places has... thank goodness the fish is good and fast! Oh last thing, save a little room for the soft serve! That was worth finding the space in your stomach!! Our server Andrea was super helpful and had a busy and somewhat needy 8 top but still made it back to us multiple times to make sure we had enough. Favorite roll: spicy garlic tuna roll. Didn't like: the spicy tuna on crispy rice. Soft serve green tea, vanilla or chocolate ice cream is included for dessert and it's pretty good.
