Came on a Thursday with friends while vacationing in Temecula for a few days. Great decision as they have happy hour all day on Thursdays that includes happy hour drink prices and half off fries. I opted for the lettuce wraps which had a good balance between some meat and some much needed veggies (even though it was mostly lettuce). It came with three different sauces (peanut sauce, sweet chili, and rice vinegar), all of which I drizzled on my wrap. Loved the butter lettuce instead of the usual store bought lettuce for the wraps. Truffle fries had a great flavor though a little too much truffle oil because it was quite oily. I love their many selections of fries though. For dessert, we shared a triple chocolate brownie sundae which was pretty standard. I expected the brownie to be more hot and ooey gooey but it wasn't quite that. Overall, I liked the cute patio outside where we sat. I really liked this place. My husband and I stopped in on our way out to the vineyards for our anniversary, and we were pretty impressed. My ONLY issue has been my wife ordered her meal with no jalapenos. It was prepped with jalapeno and then removed so the juice was still there. So it had too much bite. Went on a Saturday afternoon. Great promise but food was not very good. Beer was great. Fries were very good. Disappointed with the rest of the food. Ordered two Reuben's and they forgot the sauerkraut on both. Sandwiches were dry and meat, cheese and dressing was in skimpy amounts. Meat lover's flat bread was boring. Hamburger was a bit dry. Server was very nice and tried hard but disappeared for long periods. When asked about the missing sauerkraut she brought us the sauerkraut very late in the meal and said that the reason was that there were only two chefs and they were stretched too thin. I don't understand how they could forget such a key ingredient in both of our sandwiches. A Reuben without sauerkraut is not a Reuben. They did discount bill by 10% which did not cover cost of sandwiches. Next time in Temecula I will try someplace else before returning. I think we could do better. read more

Recently went into crush & brew in old town temecula. I ordered the refuge blood orange and my friend ordered a port mongo. We both enjoyed the exquisite drinks and we're very interested in their menu. From the higher prices we did not order a full meal for our lunch. But this would be a really nice spot for a casual date or just hangout with friends. The atmosphere can be a little noisy but not too much you can't hear who is sitting next to you. Loved the innovative spin on simple standards. Shared the ceasar salad and chicken pesto sandwich. Both were interesting, fresh and filling. Good value and comfortable room. I recently moved from Carlsbad to Temecula and found Old Town Temecula to be incredibly charming. I've been here twice- once for brunch and once for happy hour. Both times did not disappoint. The food was freshly prepared with great attention to detail. The waitstaff was so friendly and not overbearing. I always appreciate when servers are attentive without being obtrusive. I can't even begin to explain how happy I was that as soon as we sat down we fell in love with this place. Our server was Elizabeth and she was just so sweet and she was constantly smiling and checking in on us! We tried a couple cocktails like the afterglow, cabana boy, and the seedless and they were so refreshing and delicious. After reading yelp reviews and getting a recommendation from a local, we decided to eat at this restaurant. We were excited for the food and experience, but were extremely disappointed. The drinks and cheese plate were wonderful, but the rest of the food and service were sub par. We had two different burgers which were flavorless, the chop salad which was not "chopped" and a chicken sandwich which was dry. We were also told that we could not leave the cheese off a different chicken sandwich because it was already pre-made in the morning. The quality of food and service for a $17 burger was unacceptable. After sharing our thoughts with the manager, he was apologetic and did what he could to make our experience better. I will not go back for the food, but if you want cheese and drinks it would be a nice pre-dinner spot. read more

When we got here, we were immediately greeted by the bartenders and they told us it was open seating. We got here just after opening so there were a ton of pretty good seats outside near the sidewalk. We enjoyed the foot traffic. Tons of friendly people out there. Anyway...to start, the town is so adorable! It's not called old town for nothing. It has a very old feel, ton of restaurants and cute beer/wine spots. Anyway, we both ordered the wine tower, which you get to choose any 5 wines from their wine list to sample. The pours were pretty generous and it was only $12! Deal! We then ordered the pork belly fries to share and he got the pork belly burger while I got the fish and chips. The flavors of each entree were to die for. Pork belly fries, amazing. Tons of flavors. The fish and chips were not heavy in batter (which I hate) they were surprisingly light and tasty. I really enjoyed it. And my boyfriend loved every piece of his burger. Prices here are extremely reasonable especially for the quality of everything. We didn't spend more than $75 total with two wine towers, an app, and two entrees plus a 20% top. They are also located pretty much in the center of this little town so it was perfect. We are definitely coming back. read more

I ordered 2 drinks and didn't like them, I told the bartender after being ignored for 15 minutes and he told me he here was nothing wrong with them and charged me for both of them. On the way out I was waiting for the hostess because I wanted a business card to contact the manager. She wouldn't come back to her post because she was too busy chatting with the bartender. I approached her and asked her for a card. She asked me if something was wrong and I proceeded to tell her I was not satisfied with my drinks.
