Me and the family took a weekend adventure and found this restaurant threw our yelp searching. Decided to try something new so we choose crust and crumb! So glad we did!!! There is some construction from getting there so we had to go around. When we got there there was so many options and we chose the slices of pizza and a salad with fruit toppings. I will be honest I was kind of hesitant but honestly everything including the cookies and the cinnamon roll were so delicious! Saw this on Yelp and decided to give this a try. I wasn't disappointed. Good pizza, nice juicy sirloin burgers. Burger was dripping with goodness. I love their ice cold beers. Best clam chowder and east coast pizza in town. Best cookies too- even gluten free. They even have cauliflower pizza if you're a carb cutter BUT with dough and bread from scratch, why would you? The staff is super duper friendly and diverse. Love this place. A local staple & favorite. There is so much love and effort that goes into feeding customers here. Thank you! Found this little gem the morning after. We were welcomed by friendly staff who even though coffee and waters were self serve she poured and brought to the table for us. Next someone came around with pizza samples of heir new gluten free crust and vegan cheese it was so good! We ended up getting the sheesh skirt burger which was insane... so cheesy. Buffalo chicken pizza on homemade 3 day dough delicious. We also got a doughnut made with the 3 day dough, French toast and a breakfast burrito. The owner George was walking around talking to every table and even bought a second round of beer and wine for us on the house, talk about hospitality. Updated review once again. This is my third outing here and this place just isn't consistent for me. First time here bad pizza. Second time better pizza. Third time worst pizza I've had in a long time. I'm sure when they have everything going for them the food is probably good. And if you need a slice then fine. I have been eyeing this place for a while, and finally had time to give it a try and even invited a friend. We ordered two slices of pepperoni and cookies. They said cookies would be about 15 minutes in the oven. Perfect, we were so hungry, we ate them first and they were very good. A group came in after us and ate sandwiches & pizza slices and left before we even got our two slices. We asked how long it would be for our pizzas and the girl at the front said some thing about someone dropping them and that it would only be five more minutes. We were told five more minutes again after it had been ten minutes. Tbh I think they forgot about us. I went to the front and let them know how long it had been and the man says "sorry I'll put these in the oven now" and proceeds to grab two slices that we're sitting in the window this whole time. I'm confused on why it took 45 minutes for us to get our pizzas if they were just going to throw the ones in the window, into the oven? (I'm not kidding, my soda was already warm LOL) I wish they would've came and apologized or some thing, they just dropped the pizzas off and didn't say anything else. During the summer months my boyfriend and I enjoy a Sunday tradition of branching at our favorite Crust and Crumb. We sit in the same seat and both order different things but end up sharing! We always leave happy. Some of our favorites have been the french toast topped in seasonal fruits, and powdered sugar. The farm fresh omelets especially the Dorris Omlette with egg whites, add avacodo. We've also loved every slice of toast that has accompained our meal. The breads are made in house lightly buttered and toasted to perfection they just melt in your mouth.And I wash this all down with one of their gourmet lattes, extra foam, and a touch of cinnamon. Even more exciting than all this is that the gals working there actually come to remember all this! If that's not your cup of Joe stick around.... They've got great house seasoned wings or their signature bay area style pizza (also sold by slice). They host the classic pizza flavors you love but also some edgy and tasty twist too. First off I want to say that I've never been to Crust & Crumb in person but decided to order on a GrubHub at the recommendation of a coworker. A week later and I've tried all of their sandwiches and they were all amazing. The pulled pork is one of the best pulled porks that I've had in a long time. Great flavor, not so moist to make the roll soggy, but not too dry, and the side of honey mustard added a perfect kick. The pot roast sandwich was surprisingly good. Not too salty, great flavor, served on fresh bread and not soggy. I was told that it's a seasonal sandwich and will definitely be ordering it again in the future. I tried the chicken caprese sandwich yesterday and it was great as well. I feel like I'm just repeating myself here but the flavor was great, including the tomatoes which actually had flavor and weren't soggy, the roll it was served on was fresh and not soggy, and even after sitting for an hour or two and getting cold, the second half was still tasty. Had the best breakfast I have ever had the other day. It was Rib Eye Hash and soooooo good. I remember hash from when I was a kid. It was always the end of the week with leftovers from the week. This was nothing like that. Couldn't eat it all, so took half home to my grandson. He really bragged about it, too. I keep going back. Would just like to add something I think is fantastic. I have started the Keto way of eating, but like to come here for breakfast on Saturday mornings. What was I going to do? I talked to the Chef and he came up with an omelet that is totally Keto and is fantastic. Thanks to him I can still enjoy my Saturday mornings at Crust & Crumb.
