He allowed me to buy my own products for my vehicle and installed them. After that first brake job I brought my vehicle to them for every maintenance and repair that needed to be done. If they can repair my vehicle they can repair any vehicle... The pricing is amazing and Javier is very easy to work with. They have an amazing crew of talent in the garage and many years of combined experience and resources. I have repaired and maintained.... Today I got my Ac compressor replaced. Bill came to half of what everybody was trying to charge me. Brakes, Radiator, Spark Plugs, Fuel Pump, Air suspension strutts, Air suspension compressor, Oil Changes, Control arms , Cv axle shafts. My vehicle has been maintained by crutcher. They have never tried to upsell me anything. I have always took vehicle to them and explained what I want to get done and it gets completed. If you are a internet savvy person and want to buy your own parts they are open to that. Make sure to buy correct parts ! Prices of labor are amazing, I enjoy getting everything done for half the price minumum from every where else I het quotes from. Only negative? There has to be something . In my situation... They quote me for labor from a national standard labor hours. My vehicle can be a lil stubborn and intricate so sometimes it can take longer than promised or slightly more expensive than what we expected. Thats totally understandable with my vehicle. So a word of advice: NEVER take a speed bump at 25 mph. You will get hang time my friend... So after I tried my Starsky and Hutch move in my g-ride, I had to get a bolt drilled out of my water pump. This was a VERY hard thing to do. I had to finally take it to Crutcher who took care of it in 1.5 days. Mind you, my pal had been working on it for 2 weeks trying to do the same thing that Crutcher did in no time. No one likes to take their car to the shop, I'm not saying that they're the cheapest guys on the block, but they were professional and efficient and got my baby back on the road. These guys are great... I used to live here in Phoenix and they always took great care of my cars.. I liked how honest they were and fixed 99% of the repairs the first time. The guys working there are all well seasoned and have a great since of humor. I used to bring them some wild stuff to work on and they never denied me service except when I brought in a Mercedes...LOL I was just in town and I picked up an old Saab, they laughed and said they will give it a shot.. I needed to find out what the screeching sound was coming from my vehicle and since I was working in this area, I dropped my car off at this place which had a few good reviews on yelp. I came there without an appointment and they happily took my car, joined me for a test drive and diagnosed the problem quickly as rotors and drums on both front and back. All of the mechanics and owner were very nice and even picked me up down the street at my work location of the day. I took my vehicle to a repair shop down the street with many more Yelp reviews than Crutcher. They quoted me $632 for the repair. Something didn't feel right. I called Javier at Crutcher and he quoted me $150 over the phone. With nothing to lose, I took it in to him and he ended up charging me $125. So far, the repair has fixed the problem. We were 400mi from home on the 4th of July and our thermostat froze which caused the water pump to freeze and the tensioners to break. The owner Mr Javier Ledesma and the mechanic came to our hotel to access the problem, they called a friend of theirs to tow our car ($40) to their business. Tried their best to have it fixed on July 5th but couldn't get one part until the morning of the 6th. Our car was finished early afternoon on July 6. We drove home the next day and when we were pulling in our driveway we got a call from Javier wanting to make sure our trip home was a safe and pleasant one. Can't get better service than that. Frankly, I'd give negative stars if I could! This used to be a good place where my husband's family took their car, but the owner retired and it's obviously changed. Last year we took our car in for a radiator that was leaking from a seam on the top near the fill spout, since our regular mechanic is across the valley, and the water was running out too fast and we'd overheat. I assumed that a seam leak like this could be easily welded without even taking it off as it was right there on top. They told us we needed a new one, replaced it and told us that we'd need a new engine in a couple of weeks and they could do it for only $6,000! They'd be glad to put us on the list(!) for a new one. Oh, and we needed new rotors as well. Yes, we did need new rotors, but at the time there was no way to tell that without checking for it. We drove the car for about a week, meaning to get to our mechanic and get a second opinion. The overheating started again as well as noise, which was new. Grinding, metal on metal noise. This time we did have it towed across the valley. Our mechanic discovered that the radiator was not installed properly, which was why we were overheating again. And the noise? Our drive train was oddly damaged, and after replacing it and doing all repairs it was about $600. Our engine was perfectly fine. He also said that the if the drive train had been in that condition or anywhere near it when we took it in for the radiator, we'd have been hearing the same sounds, so he saw no reason at all that we'd been told to replace the engine. If we'd taken it to our mechanic in the first place, I suspect that we'd have only paid for a radiator weld... read more

Crutcher hooked me up with a very reasonable car repair and some body work on my old Rav4 that we must keep as a third car. I think this place is one of the best automotive shops ever. They mechanics are warm and friendly and Javier is really great. Andy is a wizard.Crutcher stands behind all their work. I wasn't happy with the final results of the a/c update and took the car back and Javier and his team worked very hard to fix the rattle that kept bothering me - no one ever does that. Fixed it for free and had the car back to me on the same day. 100 percent transparent and easy to work with. The only thing that is a tad frustrating is that they are super super super popular and get short staffed sometimes - so...well, if they say it's 1 week, plan a little long. They call and check in with you regularily but if you have a lot of work (like I did) it's tough to know when it's going to be done. read more

I had seen this shop and really did not know what kind of cars they worked but there was always many cars at the shop. I was having bodywork done in the same area. The shop working on my car noticed a problem with my car underneath and suggested I talk with Crutcher's Automotive about the repair. I did and they fixed it quickly knowing I needed it done before I turned in my rental. They noticed an additional problem. I could not have it fixed it because I had run out of money and needed to put it on a Firestone credit card. Firststone gave me a high quote. Crutchers said he could do it cheaper and allowed me to pay in a couple installments. That is unheard of in this world anymore. He also showed me all the parts removed from my car. I appreciated him for working with me to gain my business. I would recommend them to others and he has gained my business. read more

I couldn't be any happier with Crutcher Automotive. I woke Friday morning to find my car not starting. The first shop I called just let the phone ring and no one ever answered. I called Crutcher and they picked up on the second ring. The owner helped to trouble shoot over the phone. Once I got the tow truck set up he was able to get everything set up over the phone. Not only did they have my jeep fixed the same day, but within a couple hours. Which was incredible because I was going out of town and the last thing I wanted to worry about was my car. Very honest. I've gone to Crutcher for those repairs and they've often told me that I didn't need them--the other garage was just trying to make some money off of me. DO NOT HESITATE to trust these guys.
